Mohela has incompetently and consistently failed to service my account and loans to my monetary detriment, including failing to process my *** plan request, which was incorrectly denied by Mohela over 7 months ago and still has not been fixed because of multiple Mohela errors. I timely applied on 8/25/23 for the new SAVE plan via the REPAYE selection on the *** application. I correctly submitted all necessary info, and Mohela's website showed I was eligible for the SAVE plan and what my estimated monthly payment would be. Mohela denied my SAVE *** request on 9/18/2023 and their reason for the denial was patently incorrect. I promptly called Mohela and requested they fix this. The Mohela representative could only speculate why they denied. I pointed out to him that his speculative reason was not the reason Mohela stated in the denial. He said he would resubmit an *** SAVE request on my behalf and that it would be fixed. Months passed and nothing. And Mohela continued to make multiple errors. Over the course of the next few months until the present, I called Mohela a handful of times. Each time, they would tell me someone made a mistake and put an unresolved hold on my account and payment plan request. Each person told me my issue would be "elevated" and fixed within 5-7 business days. Then, after each call, weeks would pass and nothing. After last calling end of March 2024 (over 2 weeks ago), I have concluded Mohela is utterly incapable of processing my payment plan request despite how patently easy it should be for them. They incorrectly denied it over 7 months ago and thousands of dollars (approximately $3,000.00) in interest has accrued on my account since then because I have not been able to make payments on a plan. They are costing me money and treating my issue like I just have to wait for them to get it together, which is unacceptable. I properly submitted my request 8 months ago and they should have correctly processed it back then.
