      This is a terrible company and don't order anything unless you are sure you want it because I ordered a item and decided to return it the next day after it was delivered it and I didn't open the box at all. I called this place a week later to see if it had been received back by this company and the representative stated it had not been so I waited another week and was told the same thing. I called several days later and was told to call ***** and ***** stated I returned the item on 12/21/22 and it was delivered to sharper image on 12/23/22. I again called sharper image customer service and was told the item still wasn't received even though ***** stated it was signed for at sharper image warehouse and also gave me the persons name that signed. I called sharper image customer service again and the representative said let me go check and she came back and said yes we received the product but it will be 5-7 days before my refund because it has to be approved and processed so I gave them a week and called back and the representative stated the same thing that it would be 5-7 days and I said that's the same thing you people said last week. The representative stated they hadn't sent it over for approval. Ok I waited another week and the representative stated the same thing again 5-7 days. I then stated I need to speak to a supervisor and the supervisor came and stated the same thing 5- 7 days and promised me he would make sure my refund was sent over to be reviewed. What is there to review, you have the merchandise and the box was never opened. The supervisor assured me he would call me in about an hour to confirm my refund and I didn't hear from him.I call back a couple of days later and the representative stated your refund should be on your card and then changed it and said I have a store credit and i stated I don't want anything else from this store I want my money and again 5-7 days and I checked my email and I had a $13 store credit out of $68 and I was not asked.

Please check your spam and or junk folders if you do not see it. Any store credit codes received by email you may disregard. We apologize for any frustration this may have caused.

      I bought two items for Christmas gifts and was worried after reading these reviews that I would have difficulty returning them. That was not the case: the return to my original form of payment went very smoothly and quickly (although I did lose $40 in the deal - what I paid to ship the items to me and what I paid to ship them back). I say the above to reassure people that the company sometimes does returns properly. HOWEVER, I did want to underscore what other people have said: the quality of products is terrible, and they are extremely overpriced. This is not the same Sharper Image company from the 80s where items might have been pricey, but the quality was there. I think this version of the company is trying to sell cheap goods for high quality prices. My advice is to look for any items that sound interesting elsewhere on the internet. You will find them much cheaper. Also, I suspect that any bad reviews of their products are not posted on the Sharper Image website. I also agree with another reviewer that their promotions are misleading. Before Christmas, the big banner said free shipping with a tiny asterisk. It's not free shipping at all. You supposedly get the amount you pay for shipping as a coupon of sorts towards a future purchase. All in all, I'd say avoid doing business with this company.

      This item is a Pegasus Hover Helmet. I have also ordered one directly from Pegasus Sports Shop. I have spent too much time on this order. *********************************, with Pegasus Sports Shop, will not return my email or ship my other order either. They may be the problem for Sharper Image also. I have actually filed a complaint against Pegasus Sports Shop. I am requesting a refund from Sharper Image. This gift is no longer needed. I wad forced to purchase another gift. I have no more time to devote to this debacle.

      I literally just received an email from a Sharper Image employee named **** who stated that since I purchased the Hover Helmet from the Better Business Bureau that she can't help me. Sharper Image employee, *****, stated that the product is not in stock. You simply cannot make this stuff up. Numerous emails and phone calls. Refund my money.

      I inadvertently placed an order and canceled minutes later. I was told it shipped, when that is virtually impossible. I was told I had to wait until it arrived. It arrived a week later and I proceeded with the return as I was instructed, only to find out they are charging me $17.95 to return a small package. I believe this was a ploy to collect money. Also, the item itself is an 1/8th of the prices everywhere else, for a lot nicer product.

I am sorry to hear this information was not given to you properly and this will be investigated further to ensure this does not happen again. Your return shipping fee will be refunded upon receipt of the return as well.

      Sharper Image is running promotional scams! Do not support this company.First, there is always 20% off plus free shipping sale with a promotional code. But, it's not free shipping, they state that it's shipping $ cashback. It's NOT cashback either, it's another promotional code of which they will only accept one. But, you will never want to use that code because it doesn't come with the "free shipping" offer (which isn't free shipping anyway), because it will be less discount than the 20% off plus "free shipping" code and you will pay the regular price and high shipping for the item, because there really is no such thing as free shipping. It's a shopping trap! Secondly, they are offering a complimentary $25 "Gift Card" with certain (or maybe all orders). They call it a gift card, but it is NOT a gift card. It is another promotional code. It can only be used as a promotional code, and you can only use one promotional code per order. You will not get free shipping and will pay a high price for shipping (although they will again offer you "free shipping - cash back" and another useless "Gift Card". You can never make use of these fake offerings and so you will never even get your FREE SHIPPING without losing more money!Sharper Image, this is FRAUD and legal action is warranted and will be pursued! I will NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM YOUR STORE AGAIN! You have a rating here of 1.13/5 and I am certain if zero was an option it would be well below "1".

The promotion for 20% off and free shipping was advertised as 20% off and free shipping with rebate and these details are provided further when you click on the "?" next to the offer in red. When you click on the complementary $25 gift card it is noted that it is a promotional gift card and this is also printed on the reverse side of the gift card. I certainly understand it is frustrating to think you are getting one thing and then it turns out to be something else and this is not how we want you to feel about us as a company or about our promotional policies. We would like to make this right by offering you 10% off and free shipping on your next order with us if you would like to give us another chance! Please give us a call at ************** to speak with a specialist about placing your order and redeeming this offer.

      Sharper image is a terrible company . If you ever have any problems customer service wont help. A girl named ******* asked for my Order number. When I gave it to her she said she would be right back. A few minutes later she came back and asked me if I needed any more help. I told her she never helped me and I could tell I was getting the run around. I never received my full order after spending a lot of money and now they wont even resolve the problem . I dont need a fake apology from them either. People are never sorry about doing wrong . They are only sorry about being exposed.

      I really wish I had read these reviews before placing an order. I went on the website on the 15th and it stated I would receive my order by the 23rd and this was a Christmas gift so I was happy to order. The 23rd came and when I checked the tracking it had been rescheduled to the 26th no one notified me of this and when I called customer service all they could tell me was the same stuff that ***** website said. Well the 26th came and went and then I find out it was rescheduled to the 28th. I just received my order on the 28th only to find it was only one of two items delivered and of course I called customer service and they were absolutely zero help. This was my first and very last time I will ever order from this company.

      Horrible **************** for a Cardinal globe that didnt work. Purchased for Christmas. When I called about defect they would not send me new one until they received mine. ok. They would only provide standard shipping return label. When I returned it the label was going to ****, **. I asked if they can priority or overnight ship or same day for the new/exchanged one. I supposedly spoke to manager too. It was sent as STANDARD shipping. It did not get here until the 27th. I made the call 11:00 am on the 16th. This was for my cousin whose husband just passed away a month ago.I am shocked that this is SHARPER IMAGE. I'm not really sure of location because this was online.The Fed ex label wasn't created until 12/21 at 10:45pm from *******,**. The item I received today is working but one of the switches seems flimsy. Hopefully it doesn't break and will last.I have never put a complaint to BBB.

      Sharper Image is an ****** aggressive business. Haven't bought anything off their site in years. Never created an account. Now i'm getting multiple daily marketing emails from them. They offer an unsubscribe link but require you to accept at least some level of advertising in order to "unsubscribe". I will never buy anything from them again. Advise you to do the same.

      Well I've purchased numerous things over the years without any issues until today. I purchased an item for a Christmas gift on 12/18. The banner at the top of the website explicitly stated all items purchased would be delivered in time for Christmas. I receive updated tracking today showing after Christmas delivery date. Contact SI - this item was not eligible for that because it's coming from the warehouse. Nowhere on the site did it say there would be exclusions. I was never notified this item wasn't included and wouldn't come on time through the whole checkout process. Reached out to SI and they aren't willing to help. All they'll do is refund my shipping fee. That helps no one. Incredibly disappointed in their customer service and likely won't be ordering again.
