1 starSharper Image is a very bad company that deceived me and I was lied to and ripped off by this company I cant believe that a company is able to stay in business with all the bad BBB reviews. Story after story on the BBB website mirrors exactly what happened to me. Paid $33.98 to return an Item I need to return for a $55.00 item. I too called 3 minutes after I ordered and was told the item was already shipped. After numerous calls and emails, the customer service person said they would cover my shipping costs.A BIG LIE they charged me shipping 2 times. Please stop this company, it is so sad to see all the people that were treated with the disregard and disregard by this company. Down right disgusting company!Sharper Image

1 starI purchase a ************ Kit from Sharper Image last week. I received the item and did not open it because in the meantime I saw it somewhere else that I could buy the same item for $19.99; and thought I would return it and get it for the cheaper price. However, Sharper Image is not willing to pay me back in full for the item, less the shipping.I paid Sharper Image $76.88 which includes a delivery charge of $16.95. When I went to return the item on-line with their mailing label - my refund dwindled to $40.15 which includes a $18.95 return mailing label.If I was to return it today (one week later) I lose $36.73. Granted, I understand that $18.95 is to ship it back with their mailing label, but what happen to the other $17.78? When I called Sharper Image - the customer service person said that is their return policy and could not give me a good explanation on what happen to the $17.78?I then read on-line their return policy and all it says is a buyer will pay for shipping/handling on returns but nothing else. This seems like highway robbery! I feel taken!Sharper Image

1 starThey have a site offering sales prices. I was buying a new item (wall mounted CD AM/FM radio) showing sales price of $104 and page advertising free shipping on orders over $75. Cart shows sales price & $17.95 shipping subtracted so our sales taxes here are 10% so my total after putting in my credit card info should have been about $124 ish. Luckily I notice but had to look for they were going to charge my credit card $132! I called them and the run around answer was the sales price offered reflected the free shipping in it! 1 starOne of the worst customer service I have interacted with. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. Although you may spend hundreds of dollars on an item, they could care less on if it actually works. I offered to pay for the part that broke and they told me to go buy a whole new sauna as if I can go spend another $400 on their product. The absolute worst and will never purchase anything from them again and will ensure none of my friends and family do either.Sharper Image

1 starI purchased an item from Sharper Image and cancelled it within the hour. I was sent a message 24 hours later that it was too late to cancel the item because it was already being processed. This order, that was already being processed, took 9 days to receive. I highly doubt it was being processed! I was told to accept the shipment and to return it. I received the item and returned it the same day requesting the refund to be put on my credit card. I noticed on the bill that I didnt receive the 20% off. I sent an email and was given 20% off the item that I cancelled. I was also charged $17.95 for them to ship the cancelled item. I was told I would receive a rebate for the $17.95 which didnt happen. I wasnt expecting the $17.95 as I had cancelled the item. When Sharper Image received the item that I shipped back to them, they sent me a gift certificate for $20 less than the original payment amount. First, I expected a full refund as I had cancelled the item. Second, why do I want a gift certificate for a company that I am not going to buy from again? I contacted customer service, and the wait time was over 10 minutes. I opted for them to return my call when a customer service agent is available. Still waiting for that call?? I just want to get a full refund for an item I cancelled within the hour of ordering it!!Sharper Image

1 starI placed an order with the veterans discount yesterday and when I went back to check order discounts were not applied and I was charged $100. more than what my original order said. I immediately called the SO CALLED customer service # and received a total runaround. I asked for supervisor or manager and was told they couldn't help me. Tried to cancel order 10 min. after I made and was told NO. I have shopped sharper image for over 10 years. NEVER AGAIN SORRY ****. SERVICESharper Image

1 starSharper Image customer service is lousy. They say the wait time is longer than 10 minutes and that time can easily go much longer. They give you the opportunity to receive a call back, but the call back never occurs. I am frustrated beyond belief. 1 starExtremely POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. My husband placed an order with The Sharper Image and and as soon as he hung up he told me told me about the order and I immediately called them back to cancel the order (spoke to ******* who was nice but of no help) because I had already placed an order with someone else for the same product for a lot less money! They said I couldnt cancel because customers only have 20 or 25 minutes to cancel and that the order had already gone through and when it arrives to send it back for a refund. NOT ACCEPTABLE. First of all, I called within the time allowed AND SECONDLY, NOWHERE IN THEIR CATALOG DOES IT SAY THIS OR HAVE A RETURN POLICY STATEMENT FOR CUSTOMERS TO GO BY. So in my eyes or the eyes of a consumer, this is concealing important consumer information. I asked for a cancellation email and they sent one a generic statement saying that the warehouse was contacted to VOID the order (which I dont believe for one moment) and then I called back and surprisingly got ******* again) asked for a CANCELLATION CONFIRMATION NUMBER IN AN EMAIL ALONG WITH THE ***** NUMBER which they can not give you because it is not their policy and it is an email of which they have not sent. Also the item was $39.99 and by the time he hung up the phone his total was $58 and change. OUTRAGEOUS!!! IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT A CONSUMER HAS 72 HRS TO CANCEL ANY *****.
