      Products are not quality like they used to be. They use crazy rebates and discounts that you "get off of your next purchase" and if you return items the math just doesn't work out to what you actually paid. I will not order from them again unless they begin to sell quality products and quit with the funny math they're doing! It's a shame that a once reputable business has become ********** than reputable and hard sub par products.

      I bought two items for Christmas gifts and was worried after reading these reviews that I would have difficulty returning them. That was not the case: the return to my original form of payment went very smoothly and quickly (although I did lose $40 in the deal - what I paid to ship the items to me and what I paid to ship them back). I say the above to reassure people that the company sometimes does returns properly. HOWEVER, I did want to underscore what other people have said: the quality of products is terrible, and they are extremely overpriced. This is not the same Sharper Image company from the 80s where items might have been pricey, but the quality was there. I think this version of the company is trying to sell cheap goods for high quality prices. My advice is to look for any items that sound interesting elsewhere on the internet. You will find them much cheaper. Also, I suspect that any bad reviews of their products are not posted on the Sharper Image website. I also agree with another reviewer that their promotions are misleading. Before Christmas, the big banner said free shipping with a tiny asterisk. It's not free shipping at all. You supposedly get the amount you pay for shipping as a coupon of sorts towards a future purchase. All in all, I'd say avoid doing business with this company.

      This is not the same Sharper Image that some people may remember from the past. The prices are still high but the quality is the same cheap Chinese c*** you can get from Amazon for literally a fifth of the price. Also Amazon has a decent return policy, here when you return something they take about half of it off for some kind of elaborate shipping scam. Throw their catalog in the trash, you'll be better off.

      You and everyone else in these comments knows you do not carry quality goods. Literally the cheapest trash one could buy marked up to hundreds of dollars. You should not be in business, especially since you are using a name that was once trusted it is a disgrace and you should be ashamed but I'm sure you're just too busy counting your ill gotten gains. The order was in my husband's name as it was his gift to me for Christmas which turned out to be an embarrassment for him but really it is you who should be embarrassed at selling such garbage.

      This item is a Pegasus Hover Helmet. I have also ordered one directly from Pegasus Sports Shop. I have spent too much time on this order. *********************************, with Pegasus Sports Shop, will not return my email or ship my other order either. They may be the problem for Sharper Image also. I have actually filed a complaint against Pegasus Sports Shop. I am requesting a refund from Sharper Image. This gift is no longer needed. I wad forced to purchase another gift. I have no more time to devote to this debacle.

      I literally just received an email from a Sharper Image employee named **** who stated that since I purchased the Hover Helmet from the Better Business Bureau that she can't help me. Sharper Image employee, *****, stated that the product is not in stock. You simply cannot make this stuff up. Numerous emails and phone calls. Refund my money.

      I inadvertently placed an order and canceled minutes later. I was told it shipped, when that is virtually impossible. I was told I had to wait until it arrived. It arrived a week later and I proceeded with the return as I was instructed, only to find out they are charging me $17.95 to return a small package. I believe this was a ploy to collect money. Also, the item itself is an 1/8th of the prices everywhere else, for a lot nicer product.

At this time we only have a small window of time to cancel orders before they are accepted to the system. Once the are accepted they cannot be canceled. I am sorry to hear this information was not given to you properly and this will be investigated further to ensure this does not happen again. Your return shipping fee will be refunded upon receipt of the return as well.

      I also would give Sharper Image a zero stars review. I ordered a $120 boardless skateboard on December 20th for my son for Christmas. The website CLEARLY stated that it would be delivered on time. That's why I decided to buy it. I paid $20 extra for two day shipping to ensure there was no issue. As of this day, January 13, ****, I still have no item. The first time I called them, they said it was tied up at Federal Express because it was undeliverable. Conferenced with Fed Ex and Sharper Image to find out what the problem was. My apartment number was apparently not on my shipping address (I never omit information about my address, but okay). Fed Ex said I had to talk to the shipper. I talked with ********, she said she fixed the issue. Nothing. Called today and was informed that I received an email stating a second shipment was being delivered. Not only did I not get the email, I did not get the second item. *******, the rep on the phone today said she would give me an "in-store credit". I said no, want a full refund. She said 5-7 days. We'll see. ******* was very nice and professional. I feel bad that people at this ********** call center have to intake all these problems. However, I will never buy from Sharper Image again. It is absolutely not the same company as it was years ago. Highly disappointed.

      Sharper Image is running promotional scams! Do not support this company.First, there is always 20% off plus free shipping sale with a promotional code. But, it's not free shipping, they state that it's shipping $ cashback. It's NOT cashback either, it's another promotional code of which they will only accept one. But, you will never want to use that code because it doesn't come with the "free shipping" offer (which isn't free shipping anyway), because it will be less discount than the 20% off plus "free shipping" code and you will pay the regular price and high shipping for the item, because there really is no such thing as free shipping. It's a shopping trap! Secondly, they are offering a complimentary $25 "Gift Card" with certain (or maybe all orders). They call it a gift card, but it is NOT a gift card. It is another promotional code. It can only be used as a promotional code, and you can only use one promotional code per order. You will not get free shipping and will pay a high price for shipping (although they will again offer you "free shipping - cash back" and another useless "Gift Card". You can never make use of these fake offerings and so you will never even get your FREE SHIPPING without losing more money!Sharper Image, this is FRAUD and legal action is warranted and will be pursued! I will NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM YOUR STORE AGAIN! You have a rating here of 1.13/5 and I am certain if zero was an option it would be well below "1".

The promotion for 20% off and free shipping was advertised as 20% off and free shipping with rebate and these details are provided further when you click on the "?" next to the offer in red. When you click on the complementary $25 gift card it is noted that it is a promotional gift card and this is also printed on the reverse side of the gift card. I certainly understand it is frustrating to think you are getting one thing and then it turns out to be something else and this is not how we want you to feel about us as a company or about our promotional policies. We would like to make this right by offering you 10% off and free shipping on your next order with us if you would like to give us another chance! Please give us a call at ************** to speak with a specialist about placing your order and redeeming this offer.

      Deceptive pricing and horrible return policies. If an item is on sale and you try to pay with a gift card, the sale price disappears and is replaced by a higher price. Free shipping is a lie. You must pay shipping upfront, and then a rebate in the form of a credit that is only usable at Sharper Image is emailed to you. Tried to return and unopened, unused item. My options were to ship back at my cost (which is fair) and receive a gift card only usable at Sharper Image or print a return label, which would deduct ***** from my refund. I can ship the item for much less than *****. This company is trying their best to keep my money even though they will have a completely new product returned which they can then sell. They should refund to the card that was used for payment. Buyer beware! I will not deal with the company again. **** and switching goes on at every step in the purchasing process.

      Sharper image is a terrible company . If you ever have any problems customer service wont help. A girl named ******* asked for my Order number. When I gave it to her she said she would be right back. A few minutes later she came back and asked me if I needed any more help. I told her she never helped me and I could tell I was getting the run around. I never received my full order after spending a lot of money and now they wont even resolve the problem . I dont need a fake apology from them either. People are never sorry about doing wrong . They are only sorry about being exposed.

      I really wish I had read these reviews before placing an order. I went on the website on the 15th and it stated I would receive my order by the 23rd and this was a Christmas gift so I was happy to order. The 23rd came and when I checked the tracking it had been rescheduled to the 26th no one notified me of this and when I called customer service all they could tell me was the same stuff that ***** website said. Well the 26th came and went and then I find out it was rescheduled to the 28th. I just received my order on the 28th only to find it was only one of two items delivered and of course I called customer service and they were absolutely zero help. This was my first and very last time I will ever order from this company.
