I attempted to purchase a Shaker style CD Stand walnut from Sturbridge Yankee Workshop on Jan. 21, 2022. The order # is SO5803 which I paid $171.95 by credit card over the phone. I never received the furniture. I attempted to contact the company on numerous occasions by phone and online. They never picked up the phone or responded to my request. I have the sales order on my phone. It appears that SYW may have gone out of business. What rights do I have as a customer?Initial Complaint

I placed an order with Sturbridge Yankee Workshop on July 5, 2022 for the amount of $69.94. I have ordered numerous products over the years and never had a problem. I received an email from them stating product return and the total was for different amount $74.94. Credit #CM5850. I did not return the product. I never even received the product. I checked my bank and they had cashed my check on July 18, 2022. I tried emailing them on August 27, 2022 case # CASE2815 and it stated a customer care team will respond soon. All I want is my $69.94 BACK! I cant afford to take an almost $70 hit for a product I never received.Initial Complaint

I purchased a glider rocker ($770.45) from Sturbridge and paid an additional fee of $98.99 dollars (Total: $869.44) just shy of a year ago. They told me it would be manufactured this November 2022 and sent. Now I find out that Sturbridge has closed down without refunding my money. I am 86 years old. On 12/10/2021, I ordered a glider chair and ottoman from Sturbridge Yankee Workshop. I paid for it with my Discover card and was charged accordingly. I received a freight delivery agreement from Yankee Workshop, also attached, on Decmeber 20th, and I agreed to the terms and sent it back to them. I had called them a couple of times during the itermin date that they had promised me of August/Septemer of 2022 to find out status. They said they had employee shortages and delays due to COVID. I called again them again in early September and found out they had closed. I engaged Discover card to assist, however, they could not get in touch with them. Therefore I am out $1,054.86. I placed an internet order with this company on 7/29/22 for two items. The order number is 533-SO76076. Both items appeared to be in stock. I called the company approximately one month later to inquire as to when I might get the order. I was told that one of the items was on back order and would be shipped as soon as possible, probably sometime in September. Meanwhile, they did charge my **** account for $45.89 for both items. Shortly after that, I did receive one item, but not the other. I tried to call the company, but their phones have been disconnected. Also, their website indicates that they are permanently closed. I sent them an email on 10/8/22 asking for my money back, but as of today I have not received a response. I am looking to get back $24.95 plus shipping for the item they never sent. I have ordered items from Sturbridge Yankeee Workshop for several years. I Iike their products, good quality. I had recently ordered a Haunted Pumpkin Patch Accent floor mat. Paid $50.94. When it didn't arrive, I called them and a recording comes on stating that the number is no longer in service. The confirmation #SO77646. On 1-31-22 I ordered a chair from Sturbridge Yankee Workshop, order no. S06206. This ordered was charged to my credit card the same day in the amount of $1,173.31. I ordered an Apothecary Cabinet in a walnut finish (2 pieces) #SO17605 on March 7, 2022 for $439.41. Ive emailed and called them several times and I was assured it was on back order. I called today learning the phone was disconnected and when I looked it up on the internet it states the business is closed
