TD auto finance recorded a 30 day late charge on my credit report. I spent countless hours on the phone with account managers who assured that the delinquent request would be removed . The account has always been in good standing. There was a miscommunication with a billing representative on the phone wo applied payment made in October towards principle. same issue with a january auto payment made towards principle only. The td reps are inexperienced and have a large language barrier. I was assured my future payments would not be impacted nor would my credit be impacted. I also requested that my phone conversation be pulled and reviewed as all calls made to td finance are on a recorded line. i have yet to hear back from a manger regarding the call. I pride myself on my credit and because td reps miss comunicate and misrepresent their company policies, my credit has been greatly negatively impacted . please help in resolving this matter.Thank youBusiness Response

My vehicle was totaled so I went to Classic Cadillac on Saturday, December 17, 2022. **** sold me a vehicle Knowing I explained to the salesman as well as the finance manager my car was totaled but the insurance company paid off that car loan. Be that as it may they claim we don't show any car history so you would need a cosigner. Well they made the cosigner the buyer. Everything that they told me was in accurate the finance manager for the past several blames every mistake on ***********. Let me explain what I mean the finance company which is another complaint is horrible. I was told the first payment will be due in 45 days TD Auto Finance came calling me in January talking about how you are past due. I was hospitalized several times in March and April **** weren't concerned they only wanted to talk about the payment. **** are never polite, they talk over me and they are very unreasonable. My math and their math is different. **** also said to correct the mistake of the cosigner being the buyer come back in six months we can look at it. You would have to talk that over with the dealership. All of a sudden get to June and again in August no one knows where that conversation comes from After I purchased vehicle TD Auto finance has given me so much hassle about making payments. Even when I explained to them about being sick and how the first payment and a deferrment would put me back on track. **** refuse saying we can't do anything to assist you at this time. The only thing if you cannot pay we would have to repossess the vehicle or they said see if the dealership can help you out. **** deferrment process is insane. **** website states each payment extension and deferrment is based on customer situation. If they would pull every call and every form of communication they would see their poor customer service.Business Response

I have been making on time payments and TD is not posting to my account. They say I haven't made a payment in 3 months. When contacting cust serv I'm told to fax the checks. Their fax constantly is busy day after day. I mailed copies of checks over a week ago and no response. Keep getting messages I'm late. In October it was requested for help to change the account information for an auto deduct. Now in January, extreme medical issues happened. Come to find out the issue in October was not resolved properly and further because the account information was not fixed properly, an incorrect account was charged making a missed payment. Now that the problem was discovered, a payment was made in FULL to zero the account. **************** simply said, nobody can help you and refused to send me to any department claiming, that nothing beyond customer service, the first-level supervisor could help me. I was told only thing to do was file a dispute and move on. Last I checked that also goes into the realm of discrimination to refuse to escalate a call and claim that nobody else works in a department.Business Response

When we purchased the vehicle from ****** Chrysler dealership, we paid $600 cash for our gap coverage when we traded our truck in we were told that TD auto finance was a rebate state, and they took our gap insurance out of our pay off amount and sent us a check for $12.22! Any other time we have purchased a vehicle and paid it off we have always gotten our gap coverage returned to us ALWAYS! How can this happen? The gap insurance was never financed into our payment. i was a victim of fraud through instagram. they promised me abnormal profits by investing in crypto currency. they took my debit card number from pnc bank to put it on file and not charge anything without my consent. they charged my td bank debit card on 11/08/2023 for $3000. I did not receive any benefit from this transaction due to fraud. i filed a claim on 11/09/2023 regarding the fraud and the temporary credit was issued. but later on they took the credit away stating that i got benefited from this transaction. i have been banking with td bank for past 10 years and never had any claims or fraud in my accounts. it is unfair that they are not issuing my credit and denying my claim for $3000. the fraud department handled my claim very unprofessionally and put my account into collections calling me non stop every day. i really need this money to run my expenses.Business Response

I have been needing to call TDAutoFinance every single month because they do not withdraw funds after making a payment on their website from my checking account and then I get messages saying my payment is late. I have called my bank on several occasions and they mention that TDAutofinance has not attempted to withdraw funds. By the time, I'm done with all of this they ask for a late fee, which I pay with the same account information I used the first time. This feels like an unethical and illegal practice to get me to pay more money than what I owe them.Business Response

An unauthorized withdrawal was made from my checking account. TD refuse to return the money because the transaction was made using my PIN number. I had my card in my possession and I didnt give out my PIN number. The transaction was made at a Chase ************** ATM . ***** will not Give my the location or let me review the film. To Whom It May **************** regards to the response from TD BANK in reference to my complaint, I do not accept their decision.
The problem with this whole transaction is TD Bank fraud department, refuses to contact Chase ************** where the transaction was made.
Chase Manhattan position is that they will not furnish me with any information because I am not their customer. Had I been their customer they would have reviewed the film where the transaction was made and been able to make the determination that it was not made by me.
TD BANK keeps referring to this chip on chip with the pin number. They know that theyre scammers that can get individuals pin numbers and duplicate the cards. They know that this can happen. The proof would be if they would have the decency to contact Chase Manhattan and review the film where the transaction was made.
I had a conversation with the police department and their position also was why doesnt TD Banks fraud department contact Chase ************** to review the film.
I will file a police report,in addition to that I will contact the ************** *********************** to file a complaint.
I did not facilitate this transaction, and the card was in my possession.
I have been a customer since 2004 why would I try to take $503.00from TD BANK? I cant even tell where the transaction was made the only thing I have to show is on my list of transactions I NY3387 Is ******** I dont even know where the transaction was made to go and see if I could review the film.
Im a senior citizen my only source of income is my Social Security . If I took out my own money why would I need to subject my self to this kind of insult .
I read several articles with regards to TD Bank refusing to refund monies and assist the customers in trying to obtain the information from another institution.

Good Afternoon,
This is exactly the same response they have issue on both occasions. TD never address the issue with regards to contacting Chase ************** to review the cameras footage to identify the individual that made the transaction. This line that they keep taking about it being my Pin # and my card is a total insult to me. Its been published and noted my police fraud unit the scammer can clone the obtain the pin number by either cameras in the *** machine or other means that they use and the banks know this.
The filing of a police report for the amount in question is not going to help.
I would like to publish my complaint so others can see that TD will not assist you if it is not a TD *** machine..
