Attempting to pay the money I owe, and what do you know, they won't take it. I have added 2 different payment accounts and every time they can't process the payment. I have not had this issue with paying any other bills through either of these accounts. Furthermore, they have no support number you can call after 10 PM ET! So frustrating! Also, the automated phone system is garbage.

I purchased a ******* watch that was financed by ******* fincial who used I assume TD Retail Card Services.I evidently missed payments I fully thought had been set up on auto bill pay. When I realized my error I logged in and set up my bill pay with the approval to immediately make the payment that was overdue. If you view My credit history you can see that my score is well and with out many derogatory ****s in the last 5 years. After I set up the bill pay I got non stop calls harrowing me throughout my day including while I was at work. With the company never leaving a message or way to contact then when I did talk to them they had to of seen my bill pay set up because when I referenced it in the conversation they said they couldn't take that payment until the next billing cycle. And wanted payment over the phone. I was not comfortable with this if they could see my card and authorization for payment why would they need immediate phone payment I was worried this could be a scam. Because they would not charge my card they instead charged me substantial late fees and dinged my credit score significantly by almost 100 points to that I've worked hard to build. Which is significantly harder as a single working mother. I'm willing to pay off my bill with the late fees if my derogatory ****s to My credit score are removed. This effects the ability for me to get a job as the field I'm going into does a credit check for employment this affects my ability to purchase and provide safe transportation in a vehicle to my son as we need a vehicle we do not have public transportation and the **** and loss of credit score hurts the chances of obtaining safe housing for my son and I.

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.

I respectfully ask that this be looked at again. You state you have to report by law however I have read numerous agreements with card holders and accounts involving TD Financial. They all state you MAY report it does not state Will Or Shall report.

Again I am not denying I was late, I am not asking for late fees to be waived or reimbursed. I am offering to pay my balance in full to complete this immediately upon an agreement being reached.

I am asking to please remove the late fees from all 3 credit reports. Again your contracts state they may be reported which means it is at TD **** Services discretion.

I have a medically fragile child (if needed I'll provide documentation) I am going to college and working a full time and part time job to get by.  In order to provide for my son I need adequate housing and a working vehicle to get to work and Dr ***** that we have to travel 4 hrs to. With the late marks effecting my credit score as they did if I needed to move or get a different vehicle I would not be able to most likely. I also possibly would not be hired for the job I am going to school for as result of a poor credit score.  I am trying hard to make things right and provide a safe environment for my son to attempt to grow and thrive in. If we can't qualify for a clean warm safe rental home and end up in less adequate one this would significantly affect my son's health and breathing landing him in the hospital.

I am please asking again that the marks be removed from my credit report by TD Financial.

I have attached two separate screen shots from the agreements with my documentation on the wording.

      Thank you for your time.

I am aware of this tradeline unlawfully reporting on my consumer report. And would like to conduct a further investigation. Please submit all documents that you have submitted to consumer reporting agencies. That you used to create this tradeline on my credit report. I have reason to believe that you unlawfully obtained my personal identification information. Without my prior consent; which, you have used to create this tradeline on my credit report. let me explain, if you have used my Name and any other personal identifiable information such as: a social security card, driver license, or my address. Without a signed agreement between me and your agency. That expresses mutual assent from both parties. Then you are facing some serious penalties under the UNITED STATES CODE. Pursuant 18 USC 1028A Aggravated identity theft. (See ************* **********, 737 F.3d 129, 134) "Pursuant to 18 U.S.C. 1028A(a)(1), a person is guilty of aggravated identity theft if, in relation to any crime listed in 1028A(c), he "knowingly . . . uses, without lawful authority, a means of identification of another person." The statute defines the term "means of identification". To mean "any name or number that *** is used alone, or in conjunction with any other information. To identify a specific individual, including any name, social security number, [or] date of birth." Meaning if you used 2 separate forms of identification without my consent. Then you committed aggravated identity theft under 18 USC 1028A. If you delete this tradeline then i will drop my claim.

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********.

      Violation 15 USC 1692g(a)(4) and 15 USC 1692g(b).

After reviewing the information you submitted through the portal. The documents you attached do not meet Congress's requirements for debt verification. As seen in, ********************* ** ************************************* 498 U.S. 533 (1991): Verification is a declaration swearing that statements made in a document are true. Verifications are either made under oath or in the presence of a notary public or similarly authorized person.

Pursuant to the case cited above, an itemized statement or contract is not verification. In fact, the information you produced is second-hand information received from a creditor as seen in, ****** ** Portfolio Recovery Assocs., LLC, 2009 U.S. *********** ******, *6. To meet debt verification requirements under 15 USC 1692g(a)(4). You must produce an affidavit from the original creditor. With verified accounting records that proves the debt is current; otherwise, you must cease collection action under 15 USC 1692g(b) (until proper verification is submitted).

A Cease of collection action includes reporting the debt to credit reporting agencies. As seen in, Edeh ** Midland Credit Mgmt., 748 F. Supp. 2d 1030. So unless you can produce an affidavit from the original creditor (with verified accounting). Then you must delete the tradeline from my consumer report under 15 USC 1692g(b). Or I will act immediately under 15 USC 1692k to stymie your unfair collection practices.

I am willing to dismiss my claim, only if you delete the tradeline from my credit report; otherwise, I intend to act immediately under 15 USC 1692k. To get justice for the deceptive collection methods I've accrued by your agency.

Since you ignored my entire complaint about Title 18. I submitted a civil rights complaint to the U.S Inspector General. For now I would like to address additional infractions under the ****** Pursuant 15 USC 1692g you did not send me the required disclosures. Which I must get within 5 days of the tradelines creation (initial communication).
First you must prove a ******* letter was sent. Within 5 days of the tradeline getting placed on my credit report. Which can be done by (a) certified mail; (b) postal receipt to my address; (c) electronic receipt to my address (dated). To prove compliance with 15 USC 1692g.
Then you must produce debt verification. Which is explained in the validation letter I attached. If you can't produce verification from the original creditor. Then you must delete the tradeline immediately under 15 USC 1692g(a)(4).
I expect the requested documentation within the next 2 weeks; otherwise, I may act under 15 USC 1692k. To get justice from the heinous practices your agency used to collect the invalidated debt.

I have fell victim to a fraud and I used my TD Bank account to transmit funds totaling ***** USD .I reached out to TD on December 14, 2023 with an ADR requesting reimbursement from them since I hold them Liable for my loss, if they conducted their CDD measures I would be warned and wouldn't lose money. In March of 2023 I had over $15,000 in my checking account, which disappeared! The bank advised me to get a police form stating that I filed a fraud complaint (which I did twice). I even sent in my ******** reports to their main office that proved I was in hospital when these transactions occurred. They are still denying me and the manager accused my granddaughter of stealing it. I would like some help or strategies involving this situation. On the TD Bank website it says clearly: Beyond checking $25 Waived if one of the following applies:2. $2,500 minimum daily balance is maintained You can find it on their site. I opened my TD Beyond Checking account online. I deposited $**** and have never made any deductions. They have charged me $50 in fees for no reason. I have screen shots to prove this. I need my $50 put back in my account electronically. I will not be going into this branch for this since I opened my account online. I need to have written confirmation from this bank, that I will not be charged anymore fees if I keep at least **** in my checking at all times.

As I originally included in my screen shots, I was charged $25 in Dec and $25 in January. I started out with a $**** balance so should not have been charged anything. If they were charging me $25 from having no balance before I put **** In my account, then I would have been charged $25 before the first charge in Dec. If the charges really did come from not having any money in the account until I made my first deposit, then that is unethical.
