01/14/2025 ******* (salesman) and **** (manager) extracted my credit information through fraudulent misrepresentation of the fact. I was presented a vehicle which I intended to purchase at the advertised price and specifications. Once my personal information was extracted, the salesman informed me the vehicle was not available to be sold, and tried to upsell me an alternative. When I refused and opted to wait for the originally negotiated vehicle, which could not be sold as "it needed to go to a garage for repair", ******* discontinued all communication with me. I tried to reach the dealer by various means, and was brushed off by the manager ****, who said the vehicle did not require repair and actually had a "title issue". Was then told they would not sell me a car unless I had a cosigner. None of the reasons provided by **** were accurate, since I had already received approval from the lending company. Their intention was to extract a larger sum of money from me under the guise that it is a "required by the lender". According to previous reviews, Global Auto outlet has the business practice of extorting customers of money with the promise of a "good deal" by requesting a larger down payment than the lenders actually require, in order to profitize from the extortion.Business Response

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this feedback. At Global Auto Outlet, we are committed to providing clear and honest communication throughout the car-buying process. While we understand this customers frustration, its important to clarify that we made every effort to address their concerns and explain the situation. From the start, the customer was combative and resistant to the necessary steps required by the lender. We attempted to go over the credit details thoroughly, including the distinction between preapproval and final approval, and why a cosigner was needed in this case. Despite our repeated efforts to explain the process, the customer was unwilling to consider the options presented. Our team, including ******* and myself, remained professional and tried to provide solutions that would work within the lenders requirements. Unfortunately, the customer found these options unacceptable and responded aggressively to our explanations. We strive to work collaboratively with all our customers to find the best possible outcomes. However, its crucial for both parties to engage in open and respectful communication to achieve a positive result. We remain available to address any further questions or concerns in a constructive manner.Initial Complaint

Nov.2 i purchased a 2019 range rover from this dealership. I had a trade in 2015 Jeep Wrangler which My new loan carried over 5600 due to myself still having a balance of ***** left on contract. The payoff agreement was for *****. It's been 20 plus days since the deal was conducted and no payment has been made to my lender. I am getting constant phone calls and no one including the finance manager **** is responding to my inquiry for payoff. I want them to honor there agreement. Thank you for sharing your concerns. We understand how important it is for trade-in payoffs to be handled promptly, and we sincerely regret any frustration youve experienced. In this case, the delay in processing the payoff was due to requirements from Ally, your lender, which required your direct involvement. Every time we attempted to complete the payoff, we were informed that action was needed on your end. It wasnt until recently that this step was completed. We want to assure you that the payoff has now been sent to Ally, and the issue should be resolved shortly. If you have any further questions or concerns, please dont hesitate to reach out to us directly. Were committed to ensuring everything is handled smoothly moving forward. Thank you for your patience and understanding.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: Ally has needed NOTHING from me in order to get this trade off paid in full. I was told from the finance manager that a check was sent to ally, which was returned back to Global Auto on 12/5/2024 and signed for. As of today **** has still NOT RECEIVED payment and I will be involving other entities at this point. No check was not sent in 32+ days which is Ridiculous when payoff take place 10 to 14 days.

We understand your concerns and would like to clarify the details regarding your trade payoff. A check (#****) was written on December 6, 2024, for $15,573.39 and sent to ************** for the payoff.
Additionally, we have received the title for your trade-in vehicle, sold it to a new customer, and have already registered the vehicle for the new owner.

Complaint: 22591047
I am rejecting this response because: the company is fraudulent and obviously is versed in telling lies. I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to this scamming buisness. Uploaded is the payoff agreement of $16450.00 that my vehicle was suppose to be paid off, not $15563.00. Ally did not receive final payment of my jeep until Dec. 20th 2024. Contract was signed Nov.2 well past 45 days of a payoff, i had to make a payment of $1100.00 to ally for a jeep that was already sold. This company is a joke and ran by a bunch of scammers.

The previous submission had wrong dates and now I only want a refund. I purchased the truck from Global Auto Outlet through salesman ****** ******** on 08/15/24 with a $1k deposit and returned the next day (08/16) with $29k to finish the transaction. The vehicle was supposed to have been detailed, per ******, as it smelled from the previous owner's animal. It was only sprayed with something that temporarily masked the smell. While driving the truck the next day (08/17) the check engine light came on. I find out there was a critical transmission issue. I immediately contacted ******, who was very nonchalant about the problem as if he expected it to happen. I told him I was on my way to return the vehicle. He had me speak with a service manager - Ahmal, who told me to wait until Monday because their service department was not open on weekends. I returned the truck on Monday (08/19) and gave ****** the key. I was not contacted for any updates at all. I had to call for two days for Ahmal to speak with me (08/21-22). Ahmal told me the truck was on a lift and they were waiting on a sensor that was on back order due to the year of the truck. I asked him to keep me apprised as I should not have to chase information after I've paid $30k for the truck. He agreed and still did not keep me updated. As of today, the truck is still not fixed. As of this submission, I still have not been provided with my purchase documents, vehicle title information (expect for the temporary registration that is with the vehicle), no Carfax information, nor any diagnostic information. I last spoke with the dealership on 09/06/2024. One of the sales managers *** told me that the diagnostic would be emailed to me after he tried to tell me I was being charged over $5k to repair whatever is wrong even though I was forced to purchase a certification warranty. The truck I paid $30k cash for is a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ, VIN# 3GCUKSECXHG24473. They can keep the truck and return my $30k.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: No resolution was reached promptly nor amicably. It took 2 months to retrieve my vehicle which had obvious signs of having been leisurely driven while in your possession. I am unsure that the transmission was replaced as was originally stated to me. The paperwork indicates that a line was drained/flushed. This company makes business of off fraudulent practices. I am grateful for the intervention from the 3rd party, however this should not have been a necessary measure for Global Auto Outlet to do what I originally requested but was denied.

On May 13, 2024 my tags expired. I was in an motorcycle accident on April 23, 2024 and my mom attempted to get the tags and registration beforehand however my mom was told it would take some time and the tags and registration have been order and they will be arrive later on that week. She then returned on May 20, 28 and 30th however the tags weren't available and she was told lies each time by the general manager. She was told on May 28 & 30 that **** wasn't at work and that **** was the only one that could process the tags, etc..... On May 30 I was informed by EP ************* *** that the car had another bank lien attached to the title and that the car cant be titled and should have never been sold to me before the proper paperwork was processed. I was then told to contact the ************************* and I made a complaint that day.I requested a full refund due to the fact I can't get Maryland hard tags and registration however I have yet to hear back from Global Auto after several phone calls and I have left numerous voicemails.Global Auto Outlet should be fined and investigated for fraud.Global Auto Outlet failed to disclose the cars' true accident history and the fact its a salvaged vehicle. When I inquired on the time frame that it would take for my tags and registration to be delivered the general manager and **** lied to my mom in her face and to me via the telephone several times.Global Auto Outlet lied to me and my mom along with wasted me and my mom time, gas and stressed me out in my rehab facility.I have expired tags and registration on a car that I have paid for and can't utilize due to the negligence of Global Auto Outlet.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Their response has everything to do with false advertising, I called for 2 consecutive weeks and would get the run around with every single sales person, asked for managers, same senecio. They advised the owner had sentimental value in regards to the 1949 Plymouth deluxe and wanted ***** more than advertised price. Which I was still wanting to purchase/negotiate. They straight up ignored and are falsifying their online pricing. Absolutely no one at this dealership would return any calls and that's that I had cash in hand, no financing. They are breaking the law by falsifying their advertised price. Beware of this dealership.

Dear BBB I am writing to file a complaint against Global auto outlet in Barnabas rd Temlehills Md. regarding deceptive practices and false advertising. My recent experience with them has been highly unsatisfactory, and I believe it is essential to bring this matter to your attention and fellow customers.I visited the ********************** after seeing a car advertised on their website and all advertisement websites for Tesla 2016 with ***** miles $29,795.00 (attached is a photo for reference). However, upon inquiring about the final amount as a cash or finance buyer, I was shocked to learn that the total cost would be approximately $36,000.00. This is a significant difference of $6,205.00 from the advertised price on top of that forcing me to take their financing with a high rate and extend to the maximum 72-month period payment for a used car.The dealership justified this substantial increase by claiming it was for various additional fees, including dealer fees, registration, and reconditioning. While I understand that fees such as dealer fees and taxes are legitimate, it's crucial to note that, in ********, fees are capped at $500 for dealer fees. Even factoring in the 6% sales tax and tag and title fees, the total amount should not exceed $32,500.00. The additional $3,500.00 for reconditioning appears excessive and raises concerns about the transparency of their pricing. This discrepancy between the advertised price and the actual cost is a clear case of false advertising and bait-and-switch pricing. It not only wastes customers' time but also undermines trust in the dealership's integrity.I have visited the Global Auto outlet four times, driving an hour each way, only to encounter these misleading practices. I strongly urge Global Auto outlet to reconsider its pricing strategy, be transparent with customers from the beginning, and adhere to industry standards.I appreciate your attention to this matter.Sincerely,*************************Business Response

Dear BBB.
I am writing in response to the claims made regarding my recent experience at Global Auto Outlet. Firstly, I want to express my disappointment and frustration with the events that transpired during our attempted transaction.
Contrary to the assertion that I did not purchase a vehicle from your dealership, I must clarify that a deal was indeed agreed upon based on the internet price, which explicitly included taxes, tags, and title fees. As per our agreement, I provided a down payment of $10,000, and the remaining amount was to be financed through my bank.
After securing a cashier's check from **** of America, made out under the dealership's name, I was provided transportation by one of your drivers to facilitate this process. However, upon returning to the dealership, I was informed of a sudden change in the loan process, with pressure to opt for financing through a bank associated with dealership. This alteration occurred after I had already provided all necessary personal information, including my SSN, DOB, and address.
Furthermore, the terms and conditions of the loan were altered without prior discussion or agreement from my side. This unexpected shift in the arrangement led to my decision to halt the entire process after a week of deliberation.
It is deeply concerning that such significant changes were made without my consent or knowledge. This experience has left me with a lack of trust and confidence in the integrity of your dealership's practices.
I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a swift and satisfactory resolution.
Sincerely,*************************

Global Auto Outlet lied about the price when I arrived there. They had multiple teammates claim you can't go lower on the price - the car was listed at $23,555. I drove 2 hours to see that car on Dec. 9th). 2 workers called me on Monday (2 days later) when I backed out of the sale to offer me additional money off after they already told me to my face on Saturday that they couldn't take anything extra off. The next day (Dec. 10th) the vehicle was listed at $31,966) I got a written letter from carmax stating my offer of appraisal was $11,400. A written letter with details of everything in good standing with my vehicle and their sales people originally offered me $6,500 after the company guarantee claimed "we will honor car ***'s price" - they lied about this. They countered me with $10,500.. still less than the original carmax value. On Global Auto Outlets website there are many car features that aren't credible to the actual vehicle. For example: No remote start, the pricing is off, and there's several blemishes on the vehicle that aren't described on the listing. They had a manager call my phone yesterday (Dec. 11th) and question me about backing out of the sale. I was with my loan officer, she is a witness to this call, because I had her on speaker phone. Using phrases such as "But I thought we had an understanding. I recored the conversation the day I looked at the car. I went to go see the car on Saturday (Dec. 9th). I recored everything from there sneaky business tactics, continuously changing the price, lowballing my ****** 370z appraisal, and blatantly claiming that they're purposely making more money off of customers than their limits legally should be.My credit was also dinged for this because they looked into an inquiry and pulled my credit when I did not leave with the vehicle at any point in time. I want to be reimbursed for my time and money spent driving to and from their store location. I drove 4 hours total, and spent $85 in gas fees.Business Response

To whom it may concern,
This customer came into our dealership looking for a specific luxurious vehicle he saw on the internet. *** pricing details our customers see on our website are regularly updated to reflect our current offers and promotions. While we make every effort to ensure transparency, it's important to note that our website clearly indicates that all details, including prices, are for informational purposes and are subject to change without prior notice. *** promotional price the customer initially saw expired the day before his visit to our dealership. *** vehicle therefore went back to the original online listing price. Please find attached exhibit A, which shows the internet pricing on December 9th.
In regards to the evaluation of his trade which he first received an online appraisal courtesy of carmax. *** vehicle description in which he submitted to carmax was not inline with the actual condition of his 2012 ****** Z. *** car was heavily modified. Equipped with a very exhaust system that protruded from the rear of the bumper, as if it was a wing. Modifications of that extreme nature due to Maryland's stringent inspection requirements vastly affects the value of the vehicle. ************************ did not include the extra equipment in his online appraisal estimate with car ***.
Nonetheless we as a team did everything within our power to come to some type of an agreement that would satisfy both parties. ************************ eventually felt good enough about the numbers for his trade and the total price of our 2015 Porsche Panamera to leave a deposit securing the vehicle, while he attempted in the following days to secure financing from his credit union (henrico fcu).
Please see exhibit B Buyers Order. This exhibit shows that indeed ************************ left our showroom on december 9th 2023 with the intent of completing the purchase of our vehicle and the selling of his vehicle contingent on approved financing from his credit union.
In the following days however *********************** communicated with our team that his credit union would not approve him for the necessary dollar amount and that he would be required to make up the difference with a downpayment, which unfortunately at times was not feasible.
Thank you for your understanding and for providing us with the opportunity to clarify the matter. should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to reach out.
sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: I was not notified of the price change prior to driving over 4 hours total to check out this vehicle. I had assistance with two different members, I even communicated with them hours prior to my arrival and not once did anyone mention a price difference. My ****** 370z was not online appraised. I had a physical copy of an appraisal from an in-person appointment with Car ***. I was told this offer would be credible and acknowledged. I got my vehicle appraised with my modifications on the car Its not like I could magically take off my modifications for the appointment and then put it back on. I did exhaust and body work to my vehicle. My vehicle was appraised with all these factors in mind.

I drove from ******** to Global Auto Outlet, which is 93 miles to and from; thats a total of 186 miles. I want to be reimbursed for the full amount of my travels, including my wait time. I waited 30+ minutes for them to open the shop, because their team members were late. Prior to driving for my appointment, I was assured that everything was good to go on their end (in terms of pricing, my trade); I even expressed to the Global Auto Outlet team of what my offer was ($11,400), prior to me coming for the appointment. They assured me that they will honor this trade in price, in which they did NOT do. I cant explain why the letter says online appraisal; I went physically to a local car *** and waited over 1 hour to receive an appraisal for $11,400 - it may have just been an error on the paperwork, but either way I still did my part as a customer to obtain an appraisal for my ****** 370z. To whom it may concern,
This customer came into our dealership looking for a specific vehicle he saw on the internet.
The customer test drove the vehicle and was satisfied with the result. Please see attached Exhibit A “Test Drive Agreement”, and Exhibit B “Acknowledgment of purchase price/condition/delivery and satisfaction. This was acknowledged and signed by the customer and witnessed by our dealer rep.
With all the details in hand, the customer chose to proceed with the purchase. Please see exhibit C (Buyer’s order). This shows the full pricing breakdown presented to the customer at the time of purchase. This document was acknowledged and signed by the customer and witnessed by our dealer rep.
The customer received a dealer warranty at no cost for him. This warranty is only valid for 30 days/1,000 miles and exclusively covers engine, transmission and internally lubricated parts only. We offered the customer an extended warranty but the customer refused to accept and proceeded to sign the Waiver of Service Contract. Please see attached Exhibit D "Waiver of Service Contract".
What the customer is reflecting on his complaint is regular wear and tear which falls outside of the covered systems. When the customer purchased the vehicle nothing was promised to him and that is why he signed a “We Owe” agreement stating that all obligations from the dealership have been fulfilled. Please see attached Exhibit E “We Owe”.
Thank you for your understanding and for providing us with the opportunity to clarify the matter. Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Sincerely,***************************
