I purchased a 2014 ******* ******* ( Vin No: *****************) from Global Auto Outlet on approximately November 23, 2022, and was provided with a temporary 60 day license plate. On January 11, 2023, I began calling to inquire about not having yet received my permanent NC license plate and registration. I was assured that a request had been initiated for the plates and registration, and was told that I should receive them before the temporary plates expired on January 22, 2023. I subsequently called the North Carolina Department Of Motor Vehicles twice ( on approximately Jan. 11th, and Jan. 20th. to check and see if a request had been received for my plates and registration. The NCDMV representative stated that they didn't have any record of a request for plates for my VIN number. They recommended that I contact Global Auto Outlet and request a tracking number for the plates which they placed an order for , possibly through a third party vendor. After having not received the new permanent plates and tags by January 20, 2023, I called and spoke with the personnel in their Title and tags office. I politely expressed my dis-satisfaction with not having received my permanent plates and registration after an approximate two month wait. I stated that it would be a serious inconvenience to not have use of a vehicle which I was paying for due to not having tags to legally operate the vehicle. and was assured that they would mail me another temporary license plate (overnight) on January 20th, 2023, to be received on Saturday January 21, 2023.Upon closely looking at the picture of the ***** package containing the temporary license plate, I was shocked to observe that it was scheduled for a Tuesday Jan. 24, 2023 delivery , three days beyond the date which I was assured that I should receive it by.
