  We hired Homefix to install wood floors on the main level of our home. The contractor who did the work did a horrible job. He did not stain under the fridge, the stove (or the toilet-as we found out later). This contractor was later fired, and Homefix still stands by their work. It’s been a couple of years and the floors are now warped, scratched and the stain is splotchy. We asked for 2 counts or polyurethane, and we received none. We recently asked them to come out and look at it. The owner came out and brought another contractor with him. They said they could redo the floors at full price. When the contractor was alone with my husband, he told him that it was shoddy work and that the original contractor had done a horrible job. We’ve asked Homefix to fix the problem and the owner still maintains that the original job was fine. We’ve tried hard to be cordial and understanding, but we are getting frustrated.

  They are a scam. The whole we are doing one house for a pilot program and then they do all the hones in the area the same way. They over priced say they use their own contractors but then use day labors. Buyer beware.

  I had some doors replaced by Homefix Custom Remodeling, and I loved it so much that when the time came for me to get a new roof and new gutters, I knew who to call! I met with another sales representative from their company, and everything went just as well as it had gone before! Everything was installed quickly and without any issues, just like the previous job! I wanted to give a special shout-out to them and their team for being so wonderful to work with! Thanks again and I look forward to the next time I need something done!

  Homefix Custom Remodeling sold me a roof + solar shingle setup. During the entire sales process, I was told the system would produce ~80% of my average energy usage- up to and INCLUDING the day I was presented with the contract. When I expressed trepidation about the price on the contract, the salesman even showed me a spreadsheet detailing specific numbers regarding the money I’d save on my power bill, SRECs, etc.- still based on that 80% offset. Not vaguely 80%, but hard numbers, and how they’d offset the price of the system. The ONLY information on the contract itself regarding the solar system is a single line stating, “Solar Shingles in Charcoal. 7.83kW system”, which functionally more about how many panels will be installed, NOT how much energy they will produce. A 7.83kW system can produce a wide range of energy depending on the specifics of the site, and special knowledge and tools are needed to predict the production on a given home. As I had been given no indication of any issues reaching that 80%, and the salesman was showing me detailed numbers based on that 80%, I had every reason to believe that the described 7.83kW system would be adequate to reach the described goals.
  
  Upon project completion, communication with HCR became very difficult. The system was producing less than expected, and I needed info on the tax credit, SRECs, etc. After WEEKS of them failing to answer my questions or get back me whenever I called, It later came out that the system had been engineered to produce closer to 55%-60% of my needs, but I was NEVER SHOWN THE DOCUMENTS detailing this info, NOR EVEN TOLD THEY EXIST. HCR asserts that since they installed the 7.83kW system listed on the contract, they've fulfilled their end of the bargain. I feel misled, unsatisfied with my system, and that I was not provided with information critical for making an informed purchasing decision. I would NOT have gone through with the system had I been informed of its ACTUAL expected production.

  The crew showed up on time and started immediately. I was impressed with e speed and professionalism they showed. Everyone knew what to do so the window install was seamless. I wasn’t sure they could do all of the windows in one day, but they did.
  The windows look great! We are very happy with the install crew HCR sent to our home. When they finished and we’re gone you wouldn’t know they were here. The clean up was excellent also.
  Communication with HCR has been very good. They kept us informed all the way thru the process. Great company.
