      Driving to assess damage from Hurricane ****** in *****. Booked through ****** and they referred me to main Priceless contact. She gave me phone number to this location. When I asked about the location, he kept telling me to call ***** even though he is located in *****. When I tried to give him my reservation number, he refused to look it up, yelled at me again and hung up on me. He refused to answer the phone when I called back at least dozen times.

      I rented and paid for the car online through Priceline thinking I was set to pick up the car at 6:30pm. I get there and couldnt get a hold of anyone and didnt get the car until past 7pm. They also said they would charge me an additional $25/day for driving out-of-state. That wasnt mentioned anywhere on the website where I had booked, but he said it says that on THEIR website in small print.smh Then he proceeds to tell me the only compact car they had has a small crack in the windshield. The crack was huge, it wasnt a small crack as he had stated. I didnt even feel safe or comfortable driving with such a big crack across the windshield. This company is the worst car rental experience Ive ever had. I will never ever book with them ever again and will warn everyone I know. They are a bunch of scammers trying to get you to book online with their BS lower fees only to charge you whatever they want the moment you pick up your rental car when its too late to cancel or book with another rental car company. I would not recommend anyone to book with this company. The one I went to was located inside the DoubleTree by Hilton at ***************************************** In ***** *********.

      This was a TERRIBLE rental experience, or should I say scam. I booked this through Travelocity and was supposed to pay a total of $111.04, all fees and taxes included. I paid $76.00 upfront to reserve the car through Travelocity. This was also advertised as being a rental through the *******************. It's like a ***** minute shuttle ride away from the airport and located inside of a hotel lobby. Very strange off the bat. When I get there the rental agreement says I still owe $103.34 and the rates are higher than Travelocity booked me for. I also had to pay a $200 deposit that I never got refunded, despite the agent telling me it was a security deposit that I would be refunded once I returned the vehicle. I've had security deposits for other rentals before so I didn't think anything of it. I never got my "deposit" back and now I have reached out via phone and email several times and never get to speak to anyone or have a response back when I do leave a voicemail or email them. I've filed a chargeback with the bank that is going nowhere because I was never provided with an itemized list of charges as a final receipt, and I filed a claim with ***********. What a nightmare. This is a terrible business who has been a thorn in my side for the last month trying to get this resolved.

      Unprofessional and did not give the car on the photo. They are rude and holds on to deposit for 30 days. Other rentals reimburse in less than a week. Never again will rent nextcar and so should you.

      Next Car rental is terrible and if a negative 10 existed that is what this company would rate. Buyer beware this is customer no service all the way, they could care less about their customers near the *************** off site location on ***************

      I rented a car. 2 months has gone by and I am still waiting for a deposit refund. I called twice and all they say is in process. I guess I should have read reviews before renting from them.

      I prepaid $80 for a reservation, got to the counter, they said I would need to pay $220 total and could not refund my $80. Absolute scam, should be criminal. Never rent from NextCar

      I rented a car in April on I believe the 8th. It was originally a 3 day rental I had opted for individually because I wasn't aware that ********** service offered comps while your vehicle is being serviced. They took a $250 deposit from me and estimated the 3 day rental to cost me $406. Then after the 11th and the dealership service center said don't worry about the cost we're covering it I ignored NextCar's auto texts saying I need to return the car to avoid further charges. I called them when I first got the text and told them my car's still in the shop. The shop is paying for it, you need to coordinate with them. But through the 16th they continued charging my card every couple days $720 total. On April 12th my daughter accidentally cracked the windshield. I was told by the dealership if I returned the car the NextCar would have to do a new contract and they wouldn't cover that rental cost. So I kept the car until my car was done being repaired. The crack was on the passenger side and didn't affect my ability to drive safely. When I returned the car I filled out a damage report and included my insurance policy # and claim #. They were then supposed to send a demand letter to my insurance outlining the cost of fixing the windshield. There was originally a discrepancy in whether my $0 glass deductible that I chose as an extra option in my policy would extend to a rental I didn't own. After some back & forth talking to different reps and a very thorough look though thd terms and conditions it did not clearly spell out to me that an added option on my policy's declaration page would not carry over to a rental that my insurance coverage presided over. They finally agreed to make an exception and waive my $500 Comprehensive deductible and allow for the $0 glass deductible. Meanwhile I sent all of the documents requested of me but NextCar is still dragging their feet on submitting the demand letter to my insurance 4mos later who *********************** is supposed to be handling.

      Nextcar ******* across from the airport is a scam, high priced and then they waited a month to say there was a scratch on the car. Sent pictures of a car without the license plate. They refused to return my deposit talking about some form that they have miraculously came up with is the reason why I have not received my deposit. As I read reviews sounds this is there MO, do not rent from here. Scammers where is my deposit? I hope they are sued in a class action, because they are scamming people after the fact. Holding my deposit because of a form that has yet to be produced. BBB step in!
