      Worst car rental agency in the world !!!
      Stay away from them.The management is horrendous and deceiving and charge you double what you see online !!

      Scam alert. Fake quote for car rental from NextCar. Additional charges will be added.
      1. We were quote $296.92 is due at pickup but was charged $407.34.
      2. NextCar failed to provide me with a car in a timely manner. The scheduled pickup time was Feb. 19 at 10:30 AM, and we pick up the car until 1:23 PM. It took 3 hours and 53 mins from when we started waiting for the NextCar shuttle bus (9:30 AM) to when the car was picked up (1:23 PM). Time breakdown: 45 min. waiting for the shuttle service (9:30 AM to 10:15 AM), 1 hour and 35 min. waiting in line at NextCar to get customer service (10:20 AM - 11:55 AM), and 1 hour and 23 min. waiting in the parking lot for the car (12 PM -1:23 PM). The delays are caused solely by the rental car company.
      3. Dishonest/likely Illegal business practice by NextCar: The company insisted that we sign the contract before inspecting the car, or we risked losing the reservation. The car was not ready at the time we had to sign the contract (the car was not ready until 1.5 hours after we signed the contract).
      4. We had 5 min. to book the car or have no car. We got to the counter at 11:55 AM, and the server told us if we did not book the car before 12:00 PM, we would lose the car because their system would automatically drop the booking. Even though we were on time in waiting in line, the server said there was nothing he could do. This forced us to sign the information fast or be stranded without a car. The server would not let us look at the car before signing the contract. This is why we had to sign the contract saying we inspected the car even though we had not looked at the car. The server then tacked extra charges onto the bill, resulting in a much higher rate than the quote. We tried to dispute them, but he said we had to either take these charges or lose the car in the next few min.
      Overall, the company did not live up to the quote and breached the contract they offered. They did not provide service in a timely manner.

      Nextcar is a classic bait and switch operation. I have my own insurance at $500000 coverage, including collision and comprehensive, through Liberty Mutual-Safeco, no history of accidents or tickets. But, I was required at time of pickup to either purchase THEIR insurance for $285 (5-days) or pay a "waiver" fee substantially higher (additional $190) than the rental cost of the car PLUS sign a waiver promising to fully handle any claims personally. No other car rental company has ever required me to pay for their "insurance" or a "waiver." This abusive expense covered nothing. Furthermore, they charged my credit card an ADDITIONAL $250 as a "damage deposit." The car was returned without damage. Yet, Nextcar has still NOT returned my $250. so my $135 5-day rental turned into $580 for an old compact car with several components that did not work (like back-up camera). Stay away from Nextcar!

      Terrible company. Bait and switch. They don’t accept national insurances and you don’t know that until you’re at their window. Many added fees. I rented a car for $112 dollars for the week, but when I got to the window to pick it up, it was $486. Also, they are still carrying a pending charge on my cc for $500. It’s been 2 weeks now that we have been home from vacation. I am disputing all charges. This is horrible.

      ***BAIT AND SWITCH!*** I reserved an economy car through Expedia for $208.00. I paid Expedia $81.00 as a deposit. When I arrived at the car rental place ***PRICELESS CAR RENTAL*** told me it would cost me $700.00 to rent the car. Plus for every toll I used, besides paying for it, they would charge me an additional $25.00 per toll. I learned later my sister experienced the same thing.

      Never again. Wouldn’t accept my auto insurance - wasn’t on their limited list of ‘approved’ auto insurance companies - so I was stuck paying $30 per day!!! more than my reservation; Essentially doubled my rate. THEN they said I’d need to rent a Sunpass transponder for freeway tolls, to the tune of $20/day! Said that some toll booths don’t accept cash. I refused that fee, paid cash at the first toll booth (yes, that booth accepted cash), then bought my own Sunpass sticker at Publix for $5, created my own Sunpass account online, and loaded $10 to the account to cover the tolls I’d need. Priceless is a total ****** operation. Oh, and my car dash has a maintenance warning light. Car did run fine, though.

      Paid a reserve fee to this car rental company in *****, *******. My husband and I were supposed to be picked up at the airport and transported to the car rental office. We waited over 2 hours for for someone, but no one showed up, even after many phone calls to them, which were never answered. Got this company through Expedia and when Expedia was called they wouldnt even get us another car. We finally had to go through another car rental company to get a car. We have still not been refunded our money. Do not rent from this company.

      We rented the car on Expedia with no disclaimer about printing out your insurance declaration. We arrived for our reservation for a suv , pay for the extra insurance because our insurance they would not except, go outside and the car has a HUGE dent in the back. We were told that they had no other SUVs and our only option was to take the damaged smashed in car or get our money back. After fussing with them for about 1/2 hour we weee told that they had another SUV but we had to wait an additional 30 minutes. When that car arrived it was damaged as well on the front end of the car. The lady at the front desk didnt care, no manager available to speak with because he only spoke Spanish. I was given the corporate office to follow up with all to inform me that the company is privately owned and there was nothing that they could do. HORRIBLE!!!!!!

      My first and las time I do business with them, I reserve a economic car in Guatemala and when I got there they gave me a different one and on top of that they overcharged me for the rental,from $211 that i was quoted it went up to $490 they're crooks, I was tired so all i wanted is get home so i drove off and the car started to making noises,struts and weel bering, total a piece of junk and it got worse so I contacted them and they sent me a different one after 3 days , stay away from them employees and managers are crooks they know what they doing because they keep covering their backs each other when you tried to contact them.
