  I guess I’m the last to learn about this expensive Insurance scam with next car…. Horrible what these folks do to a tired traveler!!!!! Renter beware….. Next Car has unfriendly policies for renters. The lady at SFB WAS NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY AND IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER DELT WITH…..

  If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Horrible business tactics. Talk about bait and switch. They flood the travel sites with very cheap prices. When you go to check in, they tell you that in order to use your personal car insurance, you have to have a $500,000 bodily injury policy. No one has that! So, your options are 1)Pay the extra $25/day fee 2)Go to another rental place. They're located way off airport and there are no other rental places nearby. So guess what option I chose?There was some confusing sales pitch about purchasing a Sun Pass. Girl at desk assured me that I shouldn't need one, so I declined. I went through countless tolls between *************** and Key West and back. I keep checking my credit card to see if I get charged.All four tires were bald and two of them had a slow leak. I didn't realize this until I was in Key West (4 hours from the rental place). I had the car for 5 days and had to inflate tires daily.Next time, I will just spend the extra money and rent from a more reputable national chain.

  Priceless Car Rental in ***************, ** added $100 to my rental over the quoted price. These fees are ********************** at $10 day and "Customer Facility Fee" at $2/day and the associated additional sales taxes with these added fees. In addition, the car I was offered had completely bald tires (on the edges and ~2mm tread in the center of tires) deeming it unsafe to drive on the roads. I was aware that Priceless would charge insurance at $25/day if you did not have a $500 deductible or better. I showed proof of my insurance, and then the sales associate verbally told me the total and indicated for me to swipe my credit card. I disputed the cost and showed him my itemized quote via email. He told me it was "company policy" to charge $10 a day for using my own insurance and was unable to show me any documentation justifying this charge. Frustrated and cautious, I asked him to show me the car I would be renting. He took me to the lot and showed me a ******* with the bald tires. Normally, I would feel confident in any rental company, but I had read a review about someone who had gotten a flat on the freeway with a Priceless car, so I checked only the tires. I chose the take the shuttle ******************* and rent with another company. I felt if Priceless were this unscrupulous and unsafe, what other issues may arise during and after I returned the car.

  I was quoted $200 for car rental. I paid half on line when I booked it by debit card. When I arrived at the ***** location I paid the other half. Then I was asked to see my auto insurance policy? Because I did not carry $100,000.00 uninsured insurance policy. I have a $50,000.00 policy. They said I had to buy there insurance at $29.95 a day. I said show me where's its written In he paperwork about the uninsured policy requirement. He just said that it's our policy. PLEASE BE AWARE THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS.!!!! BAIT AND SWITCH!!! DO NOT RENT A CARD FROM THESE COCKROACHES!!!

  I did the reservation through Priceline, I didn’t expect this nextcar rental company was that BAD. First we don’t know this is not exactly in the airport and have to take a train and go somewhere and when we get to the place and have to use a phone and call for a shuttle to pick us up to go nextcar. We have been there calling and waiting for someone to pick us up to pick up our car more than 2 hours. My kids were so tired and hungry. I was so mad, it has never happened to us.We can’t keep standing there to wait even we have been calling them. Finally we end up going back to the airport and find other car rental company to rent a car. I did call back later on to Priceline to make a complaint and try to get a refund. Not sure how it will go since we have to wait for 10 days for them to reply us. But PLEASE PLEASE BE CAREFUL NOT TO RENT YOUR CAR IN NEXTCAR.

  Next car rental in Orlando Florida airport are nothing but thieves professional con artist first they try to charge my wife 138.00 to use the toll roads while in Orlando been coming here for years and never would use nowhere near that if anything we are going to Daytona we didn't need nothing but she used fear trying to convince wife that I had to have told to take it off and she did and then 20 minutes later they put it back on I had to get firm with the lady from the get-go she was very rude then $500 for deposit spent almost 2 hours playing there games so a 300 dollar car rental almost turn into 1000 still got 500 tied up I have already contact my card to inform them of the bullshit charge just in case they try keep which after looking at reviews I sure I will be in recovery mode after drop car off you would think that Priceline and other s traveling apps check ed out a little bit and when they see everybody getting ripped off and shouldn't recommend it out of 10 or more reviews only one or two with favorable and I have a sneaky feeling that's one of their employees or somebody because I didn't see nobody happy when I was there felt like I was dealing with a band of gypsies coming at you from all angles tag teaming gentleman sitting next to us he's trying to get a hold of his insurance company so not have to pay 300 extra for just liability insurance not full coverage they kept trying to rush him to sign contract or threatened to lose his original deal to be without a car and stuck my wife is a very trusting have no problem paying for services how do you take $300 car rental at $300 more for insurance $500 just in case 130 toll passes that we do not use or need a trip from Orlando to Daytona we never crossed one toll booth I'm 60years old in the Florida many times haven't never been treated like this CROOKS THEIFS run do not stop get a urber back to a rental car co. That's honest I give - 5 rating

  They gave us a beat up car with expired tags. They forced us to pay additional insurance even though we have insurance. We did not know the tags were expired and got pulled over while on vacation. When we called and tried to discuss the issue they were rude and unresponsive. The car then alerted low tire pressure, low oil, and the key fob low battery. We are turning the car back in early. Do not rent here.

  Awful, scam. Stay away. I could write paragraphs upon paragraphs about my horrible experience with this business but here's the summary:
  1. Waited 2 hours for airport shuttle to take us to off-site car agency.
  2. One agent working, 2 hours just to get to front of the line.
  3. Would not give me anything in writing showing contract. Had no idea about all the hidden fees I am reading about on these reviews.
  4. One person working to bring cars back and forth, another hour waiting
  5. Upon drop off, I asked where to sign for release and was told there was no one available. It was 5 am and my flight was for 6:30 so I trusted the system, left keys in car as instructed, and left for flight. NextCar/Priceless overcharged $163, stating that the car was returned 3 hours late even though I was midair 3 hours later.
  6. One month later, I am disputing with CC company but since they refused to give me paperwork when picking up vehicle, it's been a mess

  (PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!) They don’t clean there cars and they will lie to get more money. I checked my rental in on June 11 at 5am in the morning. Two days later I noticed 210 dollars was charged from this company. So I called them and was told that there was a late return charge. I sentry them my proof of my flight on the 11th. They told me they was gonna submit the documents to the financial department and I should receive a confirmation in two day and I should receive a refund in 10 to 15 day. The 15th day has come and gone. I haven’t received an email nor my refund or my security deposit of $250 dollars. This place is and news. (Stay away at all cost)
