      Rented a car two weeks in advance 12/12/2023. On day of rental 12/25/2023 received a text saying rental car was not available at 2 pm. Rental was for 4 pm.

      It was the worst rental company I have ever dealt with. I arrived at 10pm from flight. Had to wait for shuttle to take me to rental. Two people before me.
      Both were having problems. Both upset and one canceled. Finally my turn at 11:20pm the agent asks for my insurance declaration page I show her and she says my insurance on my five cars don't have full coverage so I have to take her insurance ...no choice. I was upset because it did not say this on email to me so I said I can't argue now at
      11:30pm | will take it up with supervisor and Expedia (very nicely and calm) at this point she says I can't give you a car now because you said that...now I'm getting upset but still keep my composure and say it's 11:30 pm I just need to get home...10 minutes goes by and Melissa starts to help me again. Then she says I can't use my own Sunpass if I take the car. At this point I'm done dealing with this scam of a company. I took shuttle back to car rental center and rented hertz

      I can not understand why a fraudulent company like priceless rental can be on all these websites still. Even after all these complaints . They really screwd me over with the bait and switch, over pricing. I'm outraged bbb would let this continue. I will be contacting many others and I will get this company shut.

      Customer service is very unprofessional. I have been a customer appropriately 2 or more times a year, for at least 10 years. My last experience was a rental online. I cancelled my reservation at least 24 hours before pick up. After 5 day I didn't receive my refund. I contacted Next Car via phone and they told me I don't get a refund. I had to cancel 48 hours before pick up. I asked the agent are you going to take my money and he said yes. I originally went to store to rent the car and the agent at store to me it's cheaper to rent the car online. He also told me if I cancel my reservation, I would be penalized 5% of my payment if I cancel it. I didn't get any of my payment back. Next Car is definitely a rip off. If they get a chance, they will take your money. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

      I have rented a car, over a dozen times from Nextcar, and have had the best of service. In addition when you compare prices they are the most reasonable. Remember you are renting a car. You are looking for transportation that is clean, affordable, filled with gas and available. All these items are many times not checked at the other rental agencies housed at the BWI Car Rental Establishment. The many negative reviews presented makes me suspicious of the competition.

      Complete scam. They try and get you by having cheap prices then when you show up they try and charge you a $2500 deposit that you HAVE to pay or they will not let you rent the car. Oh and you don't get the money back that you already paid to reserve the car if you decide not to take it after being blindsided. Waste of time and money.

      I went to Next Car in Laurel MD (Main Street) to rent a car. Agent there told me it would be cheaper to rent the car online. And if I cancel my contract, there would be a 5% penalty fee . So I decided to rent the car online. At least 24 hours before pick up time I cancelled my contract. After 5 days of my cancellation I did not receive my refund. I contacted Next Car (via phone) about my refund and the agent told me that I don't get a refund. Agent said I could have gotten a refund if I would have cancelled my contract 48 hours in advance. Agent actually said we (Next Car) we take all the money paid toward my car rental .

      Worst experience ever! I think they are fraudulent in holding you hostage at their way off site location unless your agree to pay "mandatory" fees that were more than the cost of the car! It is a bait and switch illegal shell game. $20 per day fee for tolls? $10 per day fee for NOT taking their insurance? total scam. They should be investigated and shut down. That's after a more than 30 minute wait for a shuttle and almost refusing to take me back to the airport when I demanded a refund!

      Horrible, misleading and dishonest. Took 5 phone calls and 1 hour to have shuttle show up. Once at office they rejected every insurance we attempted to use and tell you you must buy insurance from them at $50 a day. This includes the one (with copy of insurance card) we used and was not rejected when we filled out their form 6 weeks before renting. They admitted all info was clear but said “yup it’s all clearly here but you still have to pay”. This is a clear dishonest and misleading scam to get you to the office and in our case force an unjustified extra $600. Multiple bad reviews are not only true but understated. We canceled and have not yet received refund. We also had to get a ride back to the airport and find an available rental from another company on the spot.

      I've never had an experience like this. Before I made the vehicle registration, I asked if the rental company was located inside the car rental center at FLL (Fort Lauderdale Hollywood Airport). I was assured that they were by customer service. (not true) I arrived at the car rental area, with no one to speak with or even find out where to go. I called a number on my reservation and they said wait a while and a shuttle will come and pick you up. I had no idea where they were taking me. I ending up in what seemed like a bad part of town with a bunch of seedy people all around. When I went in they told me I needed $500,000 liability on my auto insurance, so they require something called SLI (Supplemental Liability Insurance) Cost was more than double what I expected to pay for the rental. The vehicle was fine, ran well, I came back to drop off and no-one was there, so I had to give the keys to a lady running a nearby business or miss my flight. They only keep limited hours and don't seem to care. I've never had a worse "customer service" experience anywhere. Most of the information I was given was false and I felt like I was being misled on purpose. I will never use this company again and will do everything I can to prevent others from making a horrible decision to use them.
