  I’ve been having a problem with my air conditioner and decided to call Len the Plumber since they’ve always done well with any plumbing issues I had. I called on Monday and Daven ***** came out on Tuesday to fix one of my units and scheduled an appointment for Thursday to replace the other unit. On Thursday morning John *******, Richard and Anthony ****** came out. The unit needing to be replaced was in the attic with pull down stairs in my master bedroom closet so not an easy task. The three gentlemen did an excellent job, they put down plastic on the floor and carpet, removed the old unit and put in the new one. They were friendly but very professional and I am very pleased with the job, they even vacuumed the area after they were done

  Horrible Horrible!! Do not use. How can you charge over 900 labor for a job that cost 25.00 in parts and was only there for 20 minutes. Just for a flapper replacement. And i don't think a new flapper was even put in, Does not look brand new. This was done at my parents house who were taken advantage of. Never again will this place be called. Watch out... They will take advantage of the elderly.

  Len the ??Plumber is a predatory business and here is the reason why. I had Len the Plumber come to my home 3 different times within 7 months. The bathroom toilet upstairs would leak through the sealing of my living room wall. I called them to come and pull the toilet and find out why it was leaking. The so called plumper snaked my sewer line so he could charge me $475.00. He put a new wax seal under the toilet reinstalled the tiolet bowl. That did not solve the problem. Again for the 2nd time Len the plumber came to my home and did the same job. This time they charged me $680.00 he removed my steel water supply line and get this he put on a plastic water supply line. The water supply line was no broken,it was not the issue. You don't fix something that is not broken? So I call Len for the 3rd time to come fix my tiolet they charge me get this $780.00 and all he did was snake my line and put on a wax seal under the tiolet. I got fed up I pulled the tiolet and solved the problem. I bought a tiolet flang kit and a rubber gasket seal and installed it under the tiolet.I HAD TO FIX IT MYSELF. If you are handy and have tools do NOT LET Len the Plumber into your Home. The last guy even tried to sell me a wall repair sevice knowing that he did not fix the problem. Why would you spend money to repair a wall knowing it's going to leak? The only thing LEN ThePlumber is good at is swiping your credit card ad running to the next victim. They don't deserve a Star period. I gave them 1 Star if I could I would leave it blank .This is a predatory business I would stay away from having them do any kind of work.

  They installed a tankless hot water heater & rough in plumbng. It failed inspection & found out they never pulled a permit. They never came back, after weeks of pleaing with them to fix the failed job. Absolutely horrible people, that say they get back with me & never do. Never been so angered & disrespected

  On July 4th I called them to fix a leaking pressure reducing valve in my house. I was not home at the time, my son was there. I was given a price of $613.00 and not being a plumber, I went with his judgement. The work was done and there have been no problems.
  When I saw the work the technician did I thought the price was excessive and contacted them asking for a parts and labor breakdown. I also asked if it was higher because of the Fourth of July holiday and was told no.
  They could not give me a parts and labor breakdown and when I persisted the person who supervises the technicians told me to call around to plumbing supply stores and find a price and said the technicians were on salary and didn't charge by the hour.
  When I said I was disputing the charge he threatened to turn it over to their legal department and said that I was on a recorded line. He seemed to be trying to bully me into paying.
  He offered me a $100.00 refund if I would release the charge. I said ok, send me an email stating that and I will call the credit card company and release the charge. They said the person who could do that was not in and I would hear from them. I didn't hear from them.
  I have since released the charge because it wasn't worth any more of my time. Len the Plumber has done work at my house three or four times. Always good work and a reasonable price. I don't understand why I was treated this way when I had a question. They seemed to wish that rude behavior and ignoring my calls would make me go away. It has. Next time I will be calling someone else.

  PLEASE Choose another plumber....
  I called Len the Plumber for a simple drain cleanout of my basement toilet. Very costly call for me for just a simple drain cleanout of about 30-35 feet at best. The technician gave me an estimate of @$975.
  I needed use of my toilet drain & for it to be cleaned out, so I had very little choice but to agree to the estimate. I am a senior citizen and on a fixed income and they didn't even bother to cut me a break to offer me a senior discount. One and done for me with this plumber for sure. I hope they don't treat all of their other senior citizens this way. I'm sure they need to charge customers so high in order to pay for all of their pricey tv commercial ads.

  If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They are professional when it comes to calling in to set up an appointment, yet have the most ridiculous prices. When the technician came, he automatically suggested a new water heater. He offered to do a service that wouldn't require a new water heater but admitted it might not be worth it long term. The service was going to cost almost $400 according to the quote but did not list on the quote what will be done, which is skeptical. The quotes to have a new water heater (40-60 Gallon) installed ranged from around $3600 to $4000 plus which is unacceptable when the average cost for a water heater replacement isn't over $2,000 (parts and labor included). There are charges listed on the quote with no explanation beside them. I called an expert that I know while the tech was at my property and was told to put them out of my house as they are price gouging. Upon calling to speak with the manager, neither him nor his technician could explain what the additional charges with no details by them was for. Additionally, I've never known a water heater pan to be $400 plus which was one of the anonymous fees that was shared on the phone call. The manager I spoke with lacks professionalism and didn't like the fact they were being checked on how they are ripping individuals off. He actually thought the situation was funny by laughing out loud while I'm expressing my complaint, which is very unprofessional. I asked to speak with his supervisor but according to him the individual is on leave but from reading other reviews that seems to be the number 1 excuse when it comes to this business. I am expecting a call back from his supervisor when he is back from leave to discuss this matter. I strongly believe this business is a scam.

  What a complete JOKE this whole company is. Why they are still in business is the question. Oh! I know why they are in business it's because they scam people, but luckily, they didn't scam me. I noticed water in the drip pan of my water heater and saw where water would have come from the top town the tank to the pan. I scheduled an apt online. I had someone come out the next day. Mind you I already did my research on how much this should cost and how long water heaters should last. The tech shows up we go down to the basement, and he looks at what is going on. He tells me that the tank is a 2011 and it's that time to replace them. Mind you the area he is looking at has no number indicating the year of the tank. I looked before he got to my house and again once he left. He gave me an estimate to replace my water heater for 2,500 and also tried to sell me some BS membership plan. I told him I would get back to him. I called another company, I gave them the model number and serial number of the tank, which the tech from Len the Plumber did not do. The lady on the other line giggles. The tank was a 2018 NOT 2011 and still under warranty. Needless to say, I went with the other company to have the work done and saved 2,000 plus dollars. Do better Len the Plumber. Stop trying to be such crooks! I am only giving them a 1 star because it won't let me not put zero.

  Len the Plumber tried to charge me $1500 to replace the gas control valve on my water heater...on a water heater that I have had close to a year (will be 1 year as of 7/28/23)...this is a water heater that they installed that I was assured had a 1 year labor warranty and 6 year manufacturer warranty. Technician told me that parts were not covered under the warranty...this made no sense whatsoever. After going back and forth with him and the manager (my brother and I did this), we passed on these "crooks" tryna rip us off. They had already done it once! Ended up reaching out to the company that manufactured the water heater, "State", and they sent me the part free of charge and set me up with a plumbing company who will also be doing the repair FREE OF CHARGE because as I told LTP time and time again, this item is under warranty. I will never utilize their services again nor will I recommend them to others in need.
