Geico claim that my policy was never active because my deposit I put down when I first apply for the policy was rejected.. if that was so I would’ve never been able to leave the lot with my car, plus I’ve been paying my insurance monthly and money has been coming off my card for my insurance so where did my money go?… they also claim that they sent out mails to my house which I never got saying that my policy was never active. My car was stolen back in April of 2022 and was total, I called geico seeking help and that’s when all of this was brought to me attention about my policy, very unprofessional and selfish, now I’m stuck with paying a loan for a car I’m
Not driving, a car that’s a total lost.

Worse company ever. I was hit by their driver, who admitted fault. Police blamed him 100% .
They have paid for repairs but more than 2 years they are still not paying my bills for medical or punitive damages. I can't, work or drive as much anymore. I'm losing everything and my credit is taking hits for my unpaid bills. These people have no heart, or soul. .

One fine day, GEICO cancelled my auto insurance policy and did not inform me in any way, shape or form for 3 weeks after that. There was no postal mail, no email, no text message, no missed calls and no voice messages - no hint at all that they had done this. When I tried calling back, they said that since there was a gap in coverage (which they themselves caused), now we have to pay 20% extra premium annually. In summary, they made us drive our kids around without insurance for 3 weeks without our knowledge, they lowered our credit score, and they made us pay extra annually for their mistake. This all they did to us after being their loyal customers for over 10 years. Be very careful of this ploy of theirs to increase your premium.

After 15 years no tickets and no accidents my premium went up over 100 dollars. Must be age discrimination or I got too old for them.

I’m trying to find out what is going on with my claim … I lost two vehicles during Hurricane Ian; no one can tell me anything the claims rep has changed. I can’t reach the current rep. It’s frustrating when you just want to know what’s the process. I’ve paid faithfully for several years for 3 vehicles and I feel like my issue isn’t important and can take any amount of time.

Some guy hit my car back in July and this insurance company couldn't even complete my claim because of a lack of a police report??? I have pictures and made my statement but because their insured never answered his phone or email after 10 days of trying to contact him they closed my claim when I was the one hit?? If that's not a red flag of being guilty I don't know what is. A so-called supervisor determined that the claim should be denied even with photographic evidence of the damage to my car and that was the end of it. Let's also mention that Geico never even called me to tell me this so I only found out by calling them myself. Great practice guys!
My car was parked outside of my apartment so I was in no way at fault. I'm flabbergasted at the lack of care and concern they've shown me. 0/10 don't recommend unless your want to drive and hit into other people's cars and get away with it. :)

      POLICY HOLDER BEWARE!
Always, I mean always, ask if GEICO in your state charges a policy cancellation surcharge. We recently moved from WI to NC and our policy with GEICO increased substantially. We shopped around and switched carriers. Come to find out GEICO in NC (not a state law) charges a cancellation fee based on “secret” underwriting guidelines. This charge is not disclosed to policy holder upfront. Client finds out after receiving and reading new contract provided via email or regular mail hidden within other disclosures. Dishonest practice.

Absolutely horrible company after a national disaster. I was in the hurricane Ian. I have geico they have drugged me through the mud trying to cut corners. And then I had a massive tree fall on my car geico only wants to give me 100 to remove the tree I have estimate for 3500 they basically tell me I'm responsible to pay that not them and I have full coverage

40 per cent rate hike for the next policy. So I cancelled and I bought from another company with same coverage.
Geico sent me a letter to change 20 ish dollars for unknown random reason.
      I didn’t understand why?
