Time payment is charging me an extra ***** a month on my lease to on contract for insurance. I contacted them numerous times explaining I have insurance. They keep saying someone will reach out to me, but the only time they call is when it's time for a payment. I have sent emails and left voicemails, I want to be reimbursed for all the extra ***** fees they have been charging me, and I want my payment to go back to what I agreed upon before I signed up with them.

This company bought a loan I had for equipment from another company and have been over charging me every month. I have made numerous request for a loan statement and invoices but they have refuse. I have now paid more than the loan agreement and they are claiming that I still owe more and are holding the title to the equipment hostage. When I ask for proof of what I owe they will not provide it.

I called 7-20-23 to pay my contract in full I had 10 Payments remaining which equal 548 dollars. I offered 548 dollars send me title, they refuse and want 280 more dollars to pay off, They say well your contract has early buy out terms, for not doing 60 months, I am fulfilling the total amount they would get if i made those last 10 payments, and fulfilling the 60 payment term and amount. there actions are on the side of stealing, i am at a loss and probably going to wait till they file court paperwork. This company is rude when trying to deal with them because all terms have been met and my offer was exactly same as the 10 payments this is also border line criminal on there part,

On May 16th, a sales rep by the name of ***************** from TSYS/Global Payments (LGP Services, LLC) came into our business claiming that he was taking over for the sales rep of our original credit card merchant (Merchant Solutions) because the original sales rep no longer worked for the company. *** then proceeded to tell our company that he could upgrade our credit card processing machine with the updated model and get a better credit card fee for our customers. We signed an agreement with the understanding that we would be with our original credit card merchant still as we are still under a 4 year contract with them but be receiving an updated machine that would process cards at a cheaper rate. When the new credit card machine came in (Dehavoo), *** came in to install the machine, took our original machine and told us he would hand it back into the company. We started taking payments with the new credit card machine installed and realized the very next week that *** lied to us and was not from Merchant Solutions but instead was from LGP Services, LLC, a completely different credit card merchant. We realized this because one of the credit card payments that a customer made was put on hold and after researching the problem, that is when we discovered that *** scammed us to sign us up with his company. We have since been in contact with the company to report the fraud (also filed a police report) and the company (LGP Services) is not willing to help us. They claim that we signed the contract and there is no getting out of it. This company has also submitted our "signed contract" to two different credit card processing companies so that we are now under two different contracts with LGP Services (which we did not authorize any of) as well as our original merchant company (Merchant Solutions). We want LGP Services to void all contracts that they have fraudulently opened up for our company because they misrepresented themselves when coming into our company.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 07/25/2023

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. We have already made several attempts to directly resolve the fraudulent behavior that was done by this company and they are not willing to admit that they were in the wrong and to void the agreement that was made under a misrepresentation of our actual credit card merchant company. I would like to further pursue action with the help of the BBB to resolve this issue. This company has scammed many people and it is a shame that they are allowed to continue to be in business with their fraudulent behaviors!

Per the document that you attached, it states that we were to receive a Clover Flex machine. We did not receive any such equipment at any point in time. We will not be paying for a piece of equipment that we have not received. We are seeking legal action at this point since the contract was not upheld by TimePayment.

TimePayment has erroneously granted $10K lease to someone out in CA using our business name from *****, false information on application, and has ruined my perfect life long credit rating of 800+ from doing this. they violated the red flag identity laws, and udaap laws when processing this application, with numerous red flags noted on it. they did not verify the applicant nor the business before granting this credit. after explaining this to them, and providing proof we did not purchase or authorize this purchase through our company, they still insist it is our debt.

we have provided 29 pages of exhibits reflecting and proving beyond doubt that this was a forged application, proper identification was not obtained by TimePayment of the lessee under the *** guidelines and Fair Credit Act.  we have requested documents from them that would further fortify our position, particularly the "corporate resolution" they state they received from our corporation.  we have yet to receive it.  at this point, we are seeking either immediate removal of this fraudulent claim identity theft by TimePayment, or we are forced to seek a court order and restitution for the enormous pain and suffering, loss of business, public humuliation from their disrespectful beligerent collectors that called our business, as well as damages for the monies we have lost due to ****'s credit rating being ruined beyond rating, a result of pure negligence on the credit department for TimePayment.

you have finally admitted after 18 months that this is fraud, only after me, my family and my businesses were abused, harassed and humuliated.  this is far from over.  we will be taking as much legal action against this as possible for the amount of suffering, loss of business income, financial credit ruin, enormous legal costs, and hours and hours of loss of life due to TimePayment's negligence when approving this lease.  TimePayment failed to identify who they were leasing to, failed to identify who their customer was by obtaining an ****************** issued id for their customer, failed to identify the business as well that they were assuming was applying, used a fraudulent "corporate resoultion" to base their decision on, and most of all failed to hear the pain and suffering that we were going through for the past 18 months with this, if they had performed their credit lending appropriately, was totally unneccesary.  they violated ITPP laws under the federal red flag laws, and show zero mercy with our pleadings explaining this to them.  we are accepting this decision as it is what should have been done 18 months ago, but this is far from over.
