This company added a delinquency to my credit report for GEICO Insurance which I am not familiar with nor do I have any knowledge of this debt. CCS was collecting a debt on behalf of ***** (which should have initially *never* gone to them because of a seperate issue). They did not own this debt.They would not work with me so I dealt woth Geico directly. After many hours of my own time and multiple phone calls working my way up the chain of command, ***** agreed to recall the debt and it would be removed from my credit report (because CCS would no longer have the right to collect on this debt) in exchange for payment, due to the circumstances out of my control by an employee at Geico that got me into this mess in the first place.I paid the debt and waited for it to be removed, and it never was. I was verybpatient and waited 4 months to give them ample time. Now I have been disputing this account with the ********************** bureaus for it to be removed because it is not in any way their debt to report and they keep updating it as "accurate".This is not CCS debt to report on, as ***** made a promise to recall the debt from them. Please remove this from my reports immediately. They are dragging their feet on removing it, but have no problem responding to the credit bureaus swiftly to say that it is accurate.Business Response
