1 starDo not travel Go Ahead Tours or enroll for travel insurance with Seven Corners. If you happen to experience any sort of interruption on your trip, you will not be reimbursed a cancellation fee by Seven Corners. I just got my appeal denied because Im pregnant. They told me I had to have complications while traveling on my due date in order to be reimbursed. I booked my trip prior to Covid-19 and they used the restrictions to make money off travelers. Go Ahead Tours and Seven Corners are both fraudulent companies. They delete comments and hide the horrible reviews they get to cover up their wrongful doings.

Thank you for leaving a review. We are sorry to hear that your insurance claim was denied. However, EF Go Ahead does not have a say as to how an insurance claim is reimbursed or handled since we are not the insurance provider nor are we an insurance company. We do state very clearly in our Terms and Conditions that there is a cancellation fee that will be issued depending on the date of cancellation. We do directly refund the rest of the tour costs, not including the fee plus cost of insurance (if purchased). We are transparent about this and our Terms and Conditions are publicly listed on the our website for review. Again, we are sorry to hear your cancellation circumstances did not meet the insurance policy for reimbursement, but hope that you'll be able to travel to your intended destination in the near future.Review fromStephanie J

5 starsWe just returned from our EF Go Tour to ******. It was an incredible experience. We had the best tour director in Eleftheria. She took care of our group of 16 every step of the way. I would & will book another EF Go Tour again in the future!Review fromStephanie M

1 starEF tours planned a trip for 10 people for a 2 week trip in Europe. We advised the tour director we would be needing to fly to our next destination with time to make ********** in ******. They asked ** to pay everything and they would fix the flights later. Now that everyone had paid $5800 each, $58,000 total they arent as helpful and seem to forget they promised to get ** to the cruise and back in time. Now we are being asked to pay additional $1500 each to correct their booking mistake. The tour Director was conveniently on vacation and no one could help **. We are stuck with a flight time which we may not be able to make from ********** and get stuck there with fees. Worst experience ever, I will spread this on social media platforms.

Thank you for your review. This was submitted prior to your tour so we do hope that everything went well. We did book your flights correctly with the dates that we were given. Later on, we were contacted and made aware that the return date given was incorrect and tried our best to find the best options available to be able to change the tickets for the whole group. Unfortunately, these changes close to a departure can carry with them additional costs. It was probably unexpected, which is understandable, but we are glad that we were able to find options to correct the issue. From the post-tour conversations staff had with your group, everything seemed to have gone smoothly and we do hope, again, that you enjoyed your vacation.Review fromHr K

1 starOne month before my Tour of ****** my flight reservation for my daughter and I disappeared. I suspect they were given to someone else. Eventually the company put me on a flight that required me to go from ***/ ******** to ******* to ***/*************. Given how many direct flights there are between *** and **, I asked for a nonstop. But then I discovered they put my daughter on a totally different flight home. Hers connected in *****, mine in ******. Their response to my concern was essentially, make an appointment to talk to me next week. I leave in about 10 days. One would expect a more immediate response to their obvious mismanagement of our flights. I paid way in advance. I had other complaints about a previous booking but a friend talked me out of it. She's part of a scrapbook group that uses GoAhead. Now that I have read other reviews and understand that I am not an isolated case, I will inform these people and other groups I know about my experience. UNLESS I GET IMMEDIATE REMEDIATION. I think that is fair.

Thank you for writing and letting us know about your experience. When this review was written, we were in the process of solving the issue with the flight reservation team. We do not give away confirmed and secured flight reservations to others, that is absolutely not a part of our flight procedure and protocol. We did end up resolving the issue and providing you and your daughter a better and same flight itinerary. This was solved a few days after this review was left. It does take us some time to find alternate solutions, but we were working behind the scenes to see what options we could provide you. 1 starGo Ahead Tours can Go Ahead and kiss my a** because they are horrible!!!! I got scammed out of my prepaid flights and the help line basically said good luck with that and I had to pay an additional $7,000 to get to ****** in time for my tour. Then I felt nickel and dimed almost daily while I was there. When I finally got to ****** no one would pick me up from the airport like they said they would and my tour director didnt answer his phone calls or texts messages. Called the help line to ask about transportation and they told me to wait another ***** minutes in the airport and keep trying to call your director. Yeah so an hour later, 60 euros later, I got myself to the hotel. This company is awful and has the absolute worst customer service. Its like they actively try to irritate you by being especially unhelpful when youre ready to cry and pull out your ************ point I really considered just going home and forgoing the tour because of how angry, disappointed, exhausted, financially spent I was.

We are sorry to hear that your experience getting to tour was so frustrating. We were unable to refund you for the out of pocket expense of rebooking you flights because the rebooking happened due to an error with your travel documents, which doesn't fall under our realm of responsibilities. Every traveler needs to provide their correct TSA information when booking with us. As for the transfer from the airport, you were told that you should take taxi since the Tour Director was probably busy leading the group at that time and we refunded you the amount for the transfer. 1 starThis is the worst tour company ever. The hotels they pick are not vetted for quality. The worst hotel was the ****************** in ****. The hallways do not have baseboards and there are plaster fix *** on the walls that have not be finished or painted. Total disaster.Never ever again booking with this company. Minus 10 Stars.

1 starThey are TERRIBLE! I had to cancel well ahead of the time for the trip and I didn't even get a dime of my deposit back. I'm just glad I didn't put down any more money than I did. I will NEVER book a trip with them again! They probably make most of their money on the tragedies of people who need to cancel. They are ruthless, unethical and depict the true meaning of AMERICAN GREED!

2 starsWe booked a trip to ****** and ***** with Go Ahead Tours. Wonderful trip. The next trip to Europe we had to cancel because of general money issues. The problem is with their insurance carrier. Go Ahead Tours deals with *****************************. ** Ahead advertises Any Reason Protection. The document distributed is worded so that the reader can cancel accordingly. But of course there is fine print and links that suggest otherwise. No one should argue that the minute you cancel you should not get back the cost of insurance. What is not clear is the % of money you dont get back from ** Ahead because you cancelled after a certain date. We lost out on $4,000 because we had to cancel. The $4,000 is made up on a voucher for the next trip with ** Ahead. Go Ahead Tours needs to look at their business practices when it comes to their wording, transparency with customers and not interacting punitively. It was mentioned to us that they have to pay ahead of time for services in places and cancellations require them to charge fees. **od business practices are enhanced by word of mouth comments and fairness. I hope ** Ahead revisits any reason protection. It is false advertising!

Thank you for your review. On our website, it clearly states that Any Reason Protection is a voucher cancellation policy. We also make sure to clarify this when customers purchase this protection since it is important to distinguish the difference between a voucher and a direct refund. The voucher can be used on any future tour, giving a customer more freedom to cancel but also be able to travel still in the future. The cost of insurance is not refundable, but you can use the insurance you've purchased to get a direct refund for your cancellation fees. Our cancellation policy is in our Terms and Conditions which each customer needs to review and sign. The closer one gets to a tour, the higher the cancellation fee since we do (as stated in your review) have costs associated with making sure we get things arranged for each traveler who signs up for one of our tours.Review fromDoryne N

1 starI come from a large family - one of my brothers passed away and left my sister and I enough money to cover this trip with and we were going in his memory! The tour company promised gateway meetup for my sister and I but they forgot??. So the trips were booked absurdly different . Calls to remedy were made multiple times to the tour. Always promising they were working on it. Eventually my sister was told it would be an additional ******* for her. I spoke with the tour group and told them I would not pay in full until remedied. They have extended this until the deadline has passed to cancel and they say we can not get a refund. The insurance offered/ and paid for we found out is only for special medical conditions. New offer on flights today is that we each pay an additional $350! All confidence is now shot with this group. If they cant stick to their promises before trip, I cannot trust them to manage a tour in ***** ??. They offered a voucher to travel with them in the future which I would never do sad

We were working on trying to find similar flight itineraries. This can take up to ***** business days to complete, which we did set that expectation when you first called in about your itineraries. We also did make sure to communicate the request for similar gateways, but we can never promise that we will be able to fulfill that request. As for the insurance covering your cancellation fee, there are specific reasons that are reimbursable by insurance for the cancellation fee. A medical incident is one reason, but not the sole reason. We hope that you'll be able to travel with your sister soon, if you haven't already.
