      Zipcar cost me $27 in fees, and I got no car. Less than 24 hours ago, I applied. Hidden $27 application fee despite the headline, "one month free". They did not approve my application in time (I need a car NOW), so I called to get a refund. Script-reading agent said the fee is non-refundable, and written in the contract paragraph four (obviously I'm not the first person to be angry about this, that he has the contract location quoted). Zipcar cost me $27 and was totally useless. When I asked to talk to a manager, he said they won't be able to help. I demanded to talk to a manager. He switched me back to the main menu. Totally DISHONEST business practices. Beware.

      What a deep downward dive this device has taken since they launched. I was charged $30 for an application fee, even though I had previously been approved. Then I learned that they no longer allow one way trips, which was basically the whole point of the service, so I wanted to cancel. They refuse to refund me and canceled my membership when I asked about it. Useless.

      Zipcare is unreliable and very unsafe I had daily to and from a therapy appointment. They were e NEVER on time for pick up in the morning. When they did show up the van had a broken rear door so my ****** had to be smashed in the front seat.

      Will gladly change my review if I could get some clarity on why my application was denied.I reached out and was told "it's your license but the system doesn't tell me why." From a consumer standpoint it seems pretty shady to have a non-refundable application fee, then not ************ on denial. You could basically dictate any "reason" and keep applicants' money. Not Ok.

      If I could leave zero starts I would. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was double charged for a trip the was cancelled due to their car being offline. The car didnt work when I got to it, so the agent tried to rebook the same car which still didnt work (obviously) and they charged me a second time without my consent. They are refusing to refund the charges. I have spent hours on the phone and sent copies of my credit card statements and they are just asking the same questions over and over and not refunding the charges. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE

      Worst company ever! Been a member since 2019 and at first they were good but recently it has been problems. First they charged me for a ticket I did not get. Another time car broke down on me and left me stranded. Now they deactivated my account because supposedly there were "trash" everywhere. I always return cars clean and with a full tank of gas. They took $165 as a cleaning fee and then proceeded to close my account and said decision was final. I am a disabled person and I used Zipcar for personal transportation and now they left me with no transportation and they don't even care that I've been a loyal customer to them. They just care about pocketing our money and close their most loyal members accounts for unfair reasons. This company is the worst ever and their customer service is very bad.

      Bad!! Though I have good credit and an excellent driving record, I was denied . The fee (about $25) was nonrefundable for "pulling people's driver license!!?

      I applied to ZipCar and my application got denied. I reached out to their service members in 4 different ways and all of them said it was because of my license even though I have no tickets or violations. The only thing I can think of is that they made a mistake when reviewing my drivers license as it says junior operating license but a junior operating license becomes a valid license when you turn 18 and I applied the week that I turned 18. It's very frustrating that in every avenue that I have attempted to contact them by, the service members say that there is this "special team" that reviews applications and that "their decision is final". It just seems to me that if a company makes a mistake, it shouldn't be the customers fault, especially when I meet all of their criteria.

      Do not use this service ever I signed up up they denied me an still took my money and now when I call the refuse to return it an said its their policy to take your money even when not approved
