I ordered a gun Friday night, when the business was closed… I learned there was a recall on the gun, and canceled the order Sunday , while they were still closed… on Monday they sent a email saying I owed $150.00 to cancel the order, even tho they did absolutely nothing to deserve $150 to cancel… this site relies heavily on a YouTuber to advertise for them, it’s a company that preys on people with bad credit… they lost a potential customer for life, over a 10% restocking fee, that never even left the shelf to begin with… stay away from this company and go to a reputable place instead…

We apologize for any inconvenience. After reviewing this order it was placed in the early afternoon on Friday. The order started processing, and an email was sent out with that status update, a few hours after the order was submitted. In order to provide the best prices that we can we do list that there would be cancellation fees for orders that are canceled once they have started processing. These fees are to cover our costs that were incurred in processing the order as well as the time invested in doing so. Our warehouse does also work to process orders over the weekend by preparing items for shipment. We do also have Customer Service representatives that are available on Saturday from 9 AM - 8 PM EST through our LiveChat program.

I can not contact the company. I was supposed to have two 10 round magazines, but two 6 round magazines came instead.

We are always happy to assist customers with their orders. We can be contacted either via email, phone, or our LiveChat service through our website for any assistance. Regarding this order, we were able to confirm that the firearm that was purchased should have come with 10 round magazines. Upon review, the brand of firearm does not have an option for 6 round magazines from the manufacturer or as after-market options. As this is a factory-new firearm it is not abnormal for magazine springs to be tight which can cause it to be difficult to fully load the magazine until they have loosened from use. However, if there was some sort of manufacturing defect we are happy to assist with a return if the firearm has not been transferred and is still with the FFL dealer. If the transfer has been completed and the magazines are defective in some way then the defect would fall under the manufacturer's warranty. If there are any questions please feel free to reach out to and we will be happy to provide further assistance.

Placed an order with Bud's Gun Shop and submitted Personal check of $100 down payment. The second payment of $150 was made thru their "echeck" option which requires disclosure of bank routing number and account number. Instead of one payment of $150, Bud's took 2 $150 payments from my account. Bud's own records indicate they were paid 11/11/2022. I saw the double charge on 11/14/2022 and immediately notified Bud's of the issue. They agreed to rectify the situation, but after many emails, as of 11/27/2022 they had done nothing. On 11/28/2022 the $150 overcharge was returned and my financial institution refunded the other $150 payment and filed a stop payment. This double charge can ONLY be done by someone at Bud's entering the bank information again and getting a second "authorization code". After reading their reviews, this double charging customers happens on a regular basis. DO NOT do business with these lying crooks!!! Their A+ rating certainly does NOT reflect their business practices.

We apologize for any confusion. We do not save any payment information in our systems to allow for any additional charges to be submitted on an order. We do show that two payments were submitted to us as of 11/11. Both payments were put through nearly the same time and it is normal for the funds to not post on the customer's account until the following business day, which was Monday 11/14. It is likely that this was due to hitting the payment authorization button multiple times when the payment was submitted.
We did agree to refund one of the payments that were submitted, however, with electronic checks, it does take 5 business days for the funds to fully process and be submitted to our account. Until that time we cannot issue the refund, as we do not know if the funds will be cleared until we receive them. Once we receive the funds the refund then also takes 5 business days to be processed back to the customer's account following the same process. However, the payment was unfunded was completed before the refund could be issued, which meant that we no longer had the funds to refund. It likely took longer for the funds to show available in the original account after the payment was unfunded. We apologize again for any inconvenience.

I ordered a SCCY DVG-1 and their online description stated it included a red dot optic. The received gun did not include the optic. I sent Bud’s a copy of their own description that stated it included the optic. Bud’s response was that the gun does not include the optic, notwithstanding their promo description stating otherwise. They offered me a $20 coupon for the inconvenience. I responded that I was not interested in being bought off for $20. I’m entitled to receive what their description said I would receive. I do like the gun. I took it to the range to try it and the gun is great. I made the naive assumption that Bud’s would make it right. I was wrong. I find the ethics of that sad. I have spent $1000’s of dollars at Bud’s. Yet, I don’t believe I’m entitled to any special treatment. All I asked was to receive what their description said I would receive. Bud’s did change their description after I brought this to their attention. Hmm, maybe I should get a $150 web consultant fee! ??

We are very sorry to hear about the confusion with this listing. The firearm that was ordered was listed as a Red Dot Ready model. The description that we received for this model did mention a factory red dot optic stating that it would be a perfect companion for the range. Unfortunately, the model that was ordered does not come with that from the manufacturer. However, all of our items are priced based on our cost only, so the total cost for the firearm that was purchased was correct for the item that the customer received. That being said we do understand how the wording we received could have been misunderstood and offered the option to return the firearm for a refund if it had not been transferred or if it had not been fired, if transferred. We also offered a coupon for the inconvenience if the customer wished to keep the item as it was.

When you read the myriad of Bud's responses it is NEVER their fault. THEY created and posted the wrong information; they refused to honor what they adrvertised. Yes, they offered a $20 coupon. That tells me all I need to know about their concern for their customers. Any ethical business would honor their ads unless it is obvious there is an error. Their wording, not SCCY's, said it included the red dot. Classic Bait and switch. I can understand errors can happen...everyone makes them. But to take no responsibility is very poor customer service.

I put a Bergara on layaway and have been making payments, I had the chance to shoot one this weekend and decided to stick with the Rem 700 SPS Tac, I sent in a request to change my order and was told the 20% I put down would not be refunded, and that if I wanted to change my order it would another 20% down. My response was I can understand the policy if I was just cancelling, that’s not the case, I am still trying to do business with you and give you money and all I ask is the 20% put down initially be credited to the Remington. I’ve yet to get a response, Customer is completely unsatisfactory. I will not do business or recommend to anyone.

Our 90 day layaway program does require a 20% deposit to be placed for the item that is being placed on layaway. This deposit secures the firearm for the layaway order, which we do by securing and processing the firearm to ensure the availability of the firearm over the course of the layaway. In order to change the item on the layaway does involve cancelling the original item which we have invested time and money into securing for the order. For this reason, the 20% deposit to secure the original item would not carry over to a new item or be refunded if the order is changed or cancelled. This is reflected in our terms for the layaway program which states, "Items on a layaway cannot be changed once the 20% deposit has been received. If a layaway is cancelled prior to 90 days the 20% deposit will NOT be refunded."
