I had a biopsy on Nov 18th at ****** ********* in Roylett, TX. It was sent from there to ** ******** for further anaylsis but I don't know what date it was sent. ** ******** billed my insurance on 1/6/2023. My insurance either paid or ** ******** wrote off the amount that wasn't covered. I never received a bill from ** ********. On 9/12/2023 I received a notice from Synerprise Consulting Services, Inc. for collections from ** ********. I immediately contacted both ** ******** and Synerprise Consulting Inc. ** ******** sent me a copy of the bill that shows I have zero balance. I called ** ******** back on 9/15/2023 thinking that maybe that had 2 accounts but I only have the one that is paid in full. ** ******** said they only had the one account and also told me they never use Synerprise Consulting Serivices for collections and confirmed that they have never sent any of my account information to Synerprise Consulting Services.Business Response

We have since canceled and removed this matter from our office. This matter was not and will not be reported to any of the three major credit bureaus. The account we had in our office was from the creditor ** ********* with a date of service of 12-19-22. Our insurance department looked into the charge we had for $3570 and found there was a billing discrepancy with Medicare causing them to deny the charges. Since those charges were denied it is not something we will continue to bill to you and have since removed and closed this matter from our office. This is a complaint against Synerprise Consulting Services for violations of the Texas Finance Code. On June 7, 2023, I sent a dispute letter requesting verification of the debt associated with the account numbers ************* ************* *** ************.
Despite my timely and valid request, debt-buyer, Synerprise Consulting Services failed to provide the necessary verification documentation within the 30-day period, as required by the Texas Finance Code. This violation allowed Synerprise Consulting to continue collection activity on the alleged debt, resulting in statutory and actual damages to me.
I respectfully request that this debt collector immediately ceases all collection activity related to the disputed debt and promptly removes any negative reporting on my credit bureau file.

On June 2, 2023 Synerprise Consulting Services used my bank account info to fraudulently withdraw $213.44 from my checking account for a debt that was paid off in 2022. I did not authorize SCS to withdraw funds from my checking account this year. My account was already paid in full.Business Response

Please be advised that Synerprise Consulting Services, Inc. has investigated this matter. The payment ran on 6-2-23 was a clerical error. We had initially setup a payment plan with the consumer in March of 2022 and the account was to be paid off on 6-2-22. The final payment was accidentally set up for 6-2-23 instead. We will refund the $213.44 to the address provided the BBB, but will wait 10 days to make sure the check is not returned. This will bring the balance owed back to $213.44.
