  Received a random text from this company. No Phone Call nor Mail correspondence. Just the text. The link claimed I had a *************** Account. I have never had a *************** Account. Seemed very fishy. Refused to talk to me. Only asked for further contact information from me. Offered no evidence to support their claim. Debt is from over 16 yrs. ago and is a false debt and account. I did not verify my SS nor anything other than my name. From other recent complaints, it seems this is their SOP and I don't believe they are legit. I will be keeping my eye out for a class action suit against them, as I intend to join.

  I received a call several times from two one zero, nine *************** six five five. Once I answered, it took a few for someone to get on the call. The first thing they asked was to verify if I was the person they were looking for & to tell me this was a recorded call. I asked who they were and they would not identify who they were. They stated they could only tell me once I verified if I was the person they were looking for, I told them I did not know who they were and they needed to identify themselves before I stated who I was. They told me they could not and only if I was the person they were looking for. I told them you called my phone so I am asking you to tell me who you are. The lady, I am guessing from ******** or Pakistani call center an most likely reading from a script said she was ending the c all since I would not verify my name. I called back the number and a recording said it was Unifin but did not state it was a debt collector. Immediately, the person asked if I was the person they were calling. We went back and forth and I stated I did not want to be recorded. She disconnected the call probably at the advisement of a supervisor listening in on the conversation. I called again got another person and got no where with them identifying who they were. On the next call, the provided a Spanish speaking person I am suspecting based on my last name, though I speak English. He would not identify the company either. HEY Unifin. In the ************** you need to know the following laws: Debt collectors must identify themselves when trying to collect a debt. This includes:Stating their name Stating the name of the collection company Stating their phone number Stating that the communication is being done to collect a debt Notifying you that any information you give them will be used in an attempt to collect the debt Giving you the name of their company or agency.

  After the awkward connection they try to verify my name and last 4 of my social security number. I don't do that for anyone let alone for a "debt collection agency" trying to scam money from me for a debt I do not owe. ESPECIALLY when they call me many times a day every day from a spoofed number.

  I received a text that I owe money and to call a number, and they sent a link. I did not open because I am not late on any bills and don't open links. Very unprofessional, if this is a real company.

  This company keeps sending me false account debt collections. First they started texting me which I reported to FTC and CFPB. I also sent back a letter confirming this is not my debt and responded that it is a violation to contact me via text messaging violation code 28 FDCPA.Now, one week later I am receiving another false debt dated from over 15 years ago.I will be reporting a complaint again to the Consumer finance protection bureau.

  I would like to start by saying that I am a genuinely understanding human but after I have requested a call back because Im busy at the moment is unacceptable. Furthermore, telling me that you will be informing the creditor you are calling on behalf that I will not be taking any responsibility for the account and will likely end ** in a courtroom because of this debt is unforgivable. These are the worst people Ive ever spoken to.

  This company has called my place of business looking for a gentleman that has not worked here in the 20 years that I've worked for my current employer, this is a small business and I know every employee's first and last name from all the years I've been here. I've told them many time to remove the number and they refuse/won't. They sometimes call 5 times in a day. This is disrupting our business work flow as I have to go across the warehouse, away from my production work and machines to answer calls for someone that hasn't worked here. I attempted to be nice so many times but this company has called my office at least 70 times in less than a two month span.

  This so called company contacted me regarding a debt that was 20 years old. Calling asking me to confirm personal information etc. When I refused to give them personal information they kept calling me back. Trolling people from 20 years ago is disgusting.

  This company bought my old debt from another debt collector agency and when I refuse to pay them they hung up on me and not only that I live in the state that any debt that is more than four years old which my debt is over 7 years old legally they cannot come and try to collect it this company is Shady and not only that I am going to personally find a way to *** them for harassment

  10/26/23 I received a text message out of the blue from a number this site won't let me post with a suspicious link and a reference number I don't recognize, and no debt company/merchant reference, so I'm not clicking on the link. If I could give less than 1 star I would.
