Do not sign up for this. It is a scam. They tell you it’s a one time payment if 258$.
I paid the one time 258$ fee thinking that was it since that’s what they said. Needless to say every single month they charged my card 258$!!!!! No where did they disclose that it was a monthly payment!!!! They are terrible!!!! Shut this company down!!!!

i received a call from them for a warranty not realizing this was a third party an so i paid the activation fee then 31 days later billed again and realized this was a third party company and canceled immediately now im at a 400+ loss and they are refusing to refund any money. i agreed to take the activation loss but not the next month being i canceled the 31 first day. the customer support person was very rude an pretty much argued with me as to why i'm canceling. i totally do not recommend this company, very rude, very argumentative an poor customer service.

Our records indicate that on September 3, 2024, you contacted Sky Protection in response to an advertisement you received regarding a vehicle service agreement. Sky Protection does not make any outbound sales calls. During this call, the sales representative thoroughly reviewed both the benefits and costs associated with the coverage, clearly explaining the cost of the agreement would be $205.47 recurring for the first year and half, (18 months) and expiring on October 3, 2029, or until the odometer reached ******* miles. This was reiterated twice during the call. On October 4, 2024, you contacted the customer ********************** line to cancel. During this call, our representative explained the coverage benefits again, aiming to ensure the customer understood the potential value, but ultimately honored the customers decision to cancel without issue. On October 23, 2024, you called again to inquire about the refund status. Our records show that the initial refund attempt was rejected due to a lock placed on the original payment method. However, after this issue was clarified, the refund was successfully processed. A manual check was processed for the remaining down payment and was issued to the address on file. Please let me know if I can assist any further on this matter.

I have also received their mailer. This is the first time I have ever received any communication from ******* reads, "Our records indicate that you have not contacted us to activate a vehicle service agreement for your VEHICLE. You are receiving this notice to ensure no lapse in vehicle protection." Clearly, one could easily be persuaded to believe they already have coverage based on the verbiage. The return address listed in the document is ****************************************************. A search of the address reveals no such business listed at that address. It appears to be a virtual business front.Highly suspicious. Throw the mail into recycle!

This company sends notice about extending vehicle warranty initially causing one to think the warranty on one's vehicle is expiring very, very soon. This company also sends notice on color paper inside a windowed envelope with the message on envelope RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED. Initially one thinks they might have forgotten a payment for something or there is a legal issue pending. Once one reads the enclosed notice it then becomes clear this notice is nothing more than a ploy to get consumers to purchase the so called extended warranty this company offers. I would imagine a fair number of people have immediately called the number listed with their VIN as instructed and bought into this company offer when this service may not even be needed. Seems like a shady way of doing business and causing one to consider just how legit the business. Must wonder how many people have purchased the 'extended warranty' offered not realizing they may have warranty through their vehicle dealer already.

This company is a scam! Don't waste your time! They will try to charge you a $225 activation fee and they will steal all your information. Including: Name, Social Security number, credit card number, and date of birth. Call the dealership you are financing your vehicle through first. Hope this helps.

Sky Protection is a marketer of vehicle service contracts through third party service contract companies. The Solicitation specifically discloses to you the consumer, that Sky Protection is not affiliated with any dealer or manufacturer. You received the solicitation in the event you chose not to activate a service agreement through the dealer you purchased the vehicle from. Our records indicate you contacted our customer ********************** department on July 10, 2024, Sky Protections customer ********************** team member fielded your call and to activate coverage at your request. You requested the customer ********************** representative to send you an invoice. On July 23, 2024 you called again to finalize the activation of your coverage. to activate the coverage. The representative reconfirmed all information and the cost with the customer, who then proceeded to set up the coverage. Please note that we do not request nor store sensitive information such as social security numbers or dates of birth. Additionally, we do not have the capability of knowing if any consumer has previously purchased coverage from another provider. On August 23, 2024, we were notified that you disputed the down payment through their bank, which resulted in the cancellation of the policy. If we can be of further assistance, please notify this office.

Received a letter in the mail that stated that my son "had not contacted us to activate a vehicle service agreement for your VEHICLE." The letter was VERY misleading, implying that he had caused his vehicle's coverage to lapse with the company. Lots of "dramatic" statements in the letter, which only had the true details about the company (Sky Protection) in a section of the letter that is in a VERY, VERY SMALL font size that could only be read if a person took a photo of the letter with their cell phone, and then enlarged it. The receiver had to call within 10 days.I personally don't know why anyone would respond to such a letter, but the urgent nature of the letter probably would scare some receivers of it. The company should not be allowed to send out such correspondence, especially if they NEVER provided coverage for the vehicle in the first place. They should be investigated and asked to stop sending them. It is a scam.

Got a letter that seemed legitimate telling us to activate our coverage for the car we recently purchased. I called, had my VIN # ready when the person told me there was a $225 activation fee. I hassled them a bit and then said I needed to call my dealer to confirm. I did and they immediately told me I had all my coverage already and this was a scam. ******.

Sky Protection is a marketer of vehicle service contract for third party service contract companies. Sky Protection provides a valued opportunity for consumers to make an informed decision whether to purchase coverage to protect their investment in the event the dealer did not offer one at the time of purchase. Our records indicate you called in on September 4, 2024 in response to a solicitation you received regarding purchasing an extended service contract. This offer is specifically intended for consumers who do not have an existing extended coverage and are interested in obtaining it. During the call, the agent reviewed the coverage details and associated costs with you. You indicated that you already had a similar coverage in place. The agent then advised you that if you were already satisfied with your current coverage, you would not need to take advantage of this offer. The agent acted in good faith and provided appropriate guidance based on your existing coverage. We have removed you from future mailings. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Our records indicate you called in on July 17, 2024, in response to an advertisement you received an offer to set up a vehicle service agreement that extends coverage beyond the manufacturer's warranty. During the call, the representative thoroughly explained the coverage details as well as the associated costs. She clearly explaining the fee would be $192.74 recurring via EFS for the first year and a half, (18 months) and the remaining four years at no additional costs. Also advising, the coverage would expire August 17, 2030, or when the mileage reached 101 thousand miles, whichever occurs first. At that time, you agreed to proceed with the plan. I would also like to mention that Sky Protection does not have the capability of knowing if you had purchased a service agreement with any other company.Subsequently, on August 26, 2024, you called requesting to cancel the coverage. The sales representative did try to explain the perks of staying with Sky Protection versus financing the service agreement through your car loan. Ultimately, the sales representative proceeded with the cancellation as requested. Please let me know if I can assist any further in this matter.
