1 starThis company turned out to be awful. I had requested a quote for a bucket truck and explained we just needed liability to get it from the car lot it was on quickly due to vandals. I called and after several days of calling they said they needed pictures which I had already sent. I was then told my agent quit. We got other insurance, but by that time the windshield was busted. I also cancelled the roadside because although they say 100-mile tow they only pay $250 towards it. For us in November 2024 we had to pay up front, and they only towed 56 miles. the bill was $506. If you don't use AARP your pay a fortune. I am livid.Review fromDarcy G

1 starAt first I was pleasantly pleased with Allstate. But then I called about a vehicle and then my agent asked if I knew my homeowners policy was canceled! Ummmmm ..I had no idea. She sent me the report of someone that came out in March and walked around our house. Well I called bs on her because 1. The day they said they came out we had 2-3 feet of snow on the ground, so clearly we hadnt raked pine needles up from the winter yet(because we were still in Winter!!!!) 2 They claimed we only had 1 access to our property when we clearly have 2. The 3rd reason is they said they did the survey the middle of March but didnt mail it out til May 31st, which would have given me less than a month to find new insurance . Except the mailed it to my physical address (I live in a super rural area and we dont get mail) and not to my mailing address which is were they have sent me numerous things before! And 4. When I cancelled I did it online and then called in the morning to make sure and the receptionist said she saw that first thing in the morning and my reasons(fraudulent survey) and yet nobody called. Allstate said I could appeal it but then gave me a list of all the things I had to do, for them to appeal it. What a joke and they put me in a horrible position by leaving me without home owners insurance during the middle of fire season!!!Review fromEvelyn G

1 starI been a loyal Allstate customer, but my experience with their home insurance has been extremely frustrating. Despite paying my premiums on time and trusting them to have my back, Allstate denied every single one of my home insurance claimseven for legitimate damages clearly covered under my policyReview fromMesfen M

1 starI was rear-ended and clearly not at fault. I called to follow up on my injury claim, and the adjuster was extremely rude. He kept yelling You have a lawyer! when I don't and wouldn't let me talk. I'm just trying to get fair compensation for injuries I already went to the doctor for. This is not how customers should be treated especially when they're the victims. I'm very disappointed in how unprofessional and disrespectful this experience has been.Allstate Insurance

1 starClearly, by their glowing reviews, Allstate is just overflowing with customer care and integrity. I was texted by my agent to let me know I was up for renewal. Meanwhile, my account had been set to automatic draft payments because who doesn't love surprise collection calls? Now, mind you, this wasn't a small policy. We're talking thousands a year to insure. wait for it. dirt. Yes, my empty lot. No construction yet. I told my agent, I wasn't renewing because, shocker, I had no interest in insuring barren earth. Apparently, my agent just ignored that minor detail. But don't worry the auto drafts magically stopped on their own. Total coincidence...I'm sure! Fast forward a few months and BAM daily collection calls. We're talking voicemail-filling nonstop harassment. I finally pick up one of these delightful interruptions to tell them they've got the wrong person. Surprise! It's for Allstate. Because who else would be this committed to pestering someone over... $46? Naturally, I log into my Allstate account expecting answers. But of course, my entire policy history has vanished into the digital abyss. No documents. No payment history. No balance. ******* I chat with a *** who cheerfully tells me everything I need can only be obtained by contacting my agent. The same agent who couldn't manage to cancel a policy or communicate like a functioning adult. All shed offers? That I was cancelled for non-payment! And here's the kicker: the *** reads me the last four digits of my card the one authorized for payment. The one they could've used to take the $46. But no. They opted for the fiscally brilliant plan of canceling the policy, hiring a full-blown harassment team, and probably spending $2,000 in payroll to collect $46.And we wonder why insurance premiums are so high? You're not paying for coverage. You're funding *************** its canceled and I still owe? Impressive logic, Allstate. Never again!Allstate Insurance

1 starDo not waste your money, they will not pay for your claim. Everybody transfers you to someone else and then they tell you the name you are giving them is not the name they have on your account and as a result cannot process your claim. The next agent said the address is not the same as the one on my account. So ridiculous, I am the only account owner and all the information on my account is mine. Will never buy coverage from them.Allstate Insurance

1 starIn May of 2025 I was involved in an accident with a vehicle who was insured by Allstate, on the date of the accident I subsequently filed a claim since I was not at fault and other driver was cited. It took Allstate 2 weeks exactly to contact me regarding my claim for this accident; and it took an additional month for my vehicle to be repaired at a collision center after some disputes about the damaged that was caused from accident. I took plenty of photos of my vehicle prior to being in accident since I'm an enthusiastic auto owner. after the collision center, I was recommended to take to my nearest dealership to get the drivetrain inspected and/or engine and transmission since it's a 6-speed manual. After dealer inspection I received keys to my vehicle I then drove for about 30 miles before my engine seized. It then made its way back to the dealership and they determined after extensive inspection that the correlation of engine failure was due to being involved in the accident. This evidence was presented to Allstate to furthermore repair the vehicle, and Allstate is denying the claim and is asking me to pay for the labor to then submit back to Allstate so that they can again determine, by opinion, if its correlated. this was only driven 30 miles after the accident that was in perfect working order with no issues. This was also submitted to the vehicles dealership corporate department who has also determined by vehicles ECM and vehicle data that point of failure was due to impact. Allstate is denying additional claim because they believe by opinion that it's just coincidence which by the facts of milage driven and proper maintenance records that it could not, this claim from my understanding is still open and I still don't have my vehicle in working order at the dealership waiting for work to begin as of mid-July. Allstate is still responsible for damages since their policy holder was the one at fault. I have left numerous voicemails to Allstate with no response. FIXAllstate Insurance

1 starI was involved in an accident with an Allstate client, which was not my fault. Allstate was willing to pay $2400 in repairs and when it was finally torn down at the body shop there was more to add to the estimate, so they decided it was a total loss. After receiving a checking for $2039 for the repairs I just received a phone call telling me my car was worth $1930 and that they would be reissuing me a new check with the lesser amount. So, in a nutshell they were willing to pay $2400 to fix my car but after deciding that it was a total loss, they aren't going to pay what they would have paid to fix it. My experience has been terrible and my advice to anyone shopping insurance DO NOT USE ALLSTATE!! You are most certainly NOT in good hands. The rental car company and 2 different body shops expressed their dislike of working with them and ranked them one of the worst insurance companies.Allstate Insurance

1 star35 years in the collision business Allstate is the worst company out there. They will do whatever it takes not to pay to make you whole again. They will tell us the car is repairable, and it is clearly not. After you tell them you are contacting your attorney or the insurance commission they will total it in seconds. They say the customer is responsible for the towing charges and storage when the car is totaled but I will tell you the customer isn't, and they end up paying when a lawyer calls them. They will put you and your family in an unsafe car if you use their direct repair shop that works for them. Switch to someone else or use a shop that don't work for them.Allstate Insurance
