      Allstate refused to refund me the renter's insurance premiums for my old apartment after I realized my policy had auto renewed, despite not living there for several months. I was told it was "literally impossible" to give a refund despite me sending proof that I haven't been living there. Entirely dishonest to keep hundreds of dollars that they received in exchange for nothing (since there was no way I would need to file a claim during that time, and therefore they had no liability for anything that happened to the apartment) all because I forgot to make a phone call.

      REMOVEDhad a claim open since July of 2024 and have yet to get my car repaired. They have not one antique repair facility in the network and keep giving me the run around to pick up or total out the claim. But they continue to say they are at fault and are going to repair my car. I'm had an adjuster REMOVEDsend payment to the wrong address. I've had REMOVEDwho hasn't called updating anything. Head manager REMOVEDspoke to me 9 months ago Then closed the claim out with a 2600 payment for which does not cover anything to repair the car. I've called three days this week and still no results.

      In 2023, my insurance premiums increased, making it financially unfeasible to continue my coverage with Allstate. Consequently, I sought alternative insurance providers and identified State Farm as a more cost-effective option, with rates several hundred dollars lower. On January 29, I initiated a new policy with State Farm, and on January 30, I contacted Allstate to cancel my existing policy. During this call, the agent offered to explore options for reduced rates, but these efforts were unsuccessful. I then reiterated my request to cancel my auto insurance policy. Approximately one month later, I received a notification indicating that my policy was scheduled for cancellation. I promptly contacted Allstate to rectify this, explaining that I had already canceled my insurance in January. I subsequently sent an email detailing the correct cancellation date, and the representative assured me that the issue would be resolved and the cancellation backdated. However, no action was REMOVEDMarch, I contacted Allstate again to transition my homeowner's insurance and, for the second time, resubmitted the email regarding my auto insurance cancellation. I was again assured that the matter would be handled. During this interaction, it was erroneously recorded in their system that I had sold my property, which I still own. On December 16, 2025, I received a letter demanding payment of $1415.76. Allstate is now disputing my account of these events.

      Agents are not trained. Supervisors are not trained. The amount of unprofessionalism I've experienced in the last 2 months with this company for their insured customer being at fault is insane. They closed my case initially even with an active police report of insured claiming fault. (Did not advise me) Adjuster then went on vacation. Came back after a REMOVEDmy case under a new number, passed it off from adjuster to adjuster, and I finally get through to a supervisor after a month of begging for assistance and countless voicemails, calls, emails, & texts. She (supervisor REMOVED) advised she would call me right after REMOVED(the adjuster) dropped the ball initially and here we are a month later. I got the call, but she faked a phone REMOVEDcall back. Now I'm still sitting here waiting for info regarding when my car will be fixed while being treated like I'm nobody. That's Allstate stand. Where you're not in good hands.

      Company: Allstate Protection Plans Product: Appliance Protection Plan (Washer)Purchased from: REMOVEDI purchased a washer and an appliance protection plan from REMOVED, serviced by Allstate Protection Plans. My washer has been non-functional for over 30 days. When I contacted Allstate to file a claim, I was told my warranty was not registered and that registration would take 48 hours, despite the plan being paid for at purchase. After 48 hours, I received no verification. Upon calling again, I was informed an incorrect email had been entered by support and that I needed to wait another 48 hours. Registration ultimately took over one week. After minimal troubleshooting, parts were ordered without a technician inspection. A technician appointment was scheduled and then rescheduled. I took time off work and waited all day, only to later discover the appointment was canceled without notice because parts were reportedly not delivered. Courier tracking showed the parts as delivered, yet I never received them. When I contacted Allstate, I was told they had no control over the delivery. Another investigation was opened with a promised 48-hour response, but I received an update four days later stating new parts were reordered with another multi-day delay. Throughout this process, I was repeatedly required to call, follow up, and coordinate technician availability myself. In total, I spent approximately 1213 hours on phone calls attempting to resolve this issue. Despite all this time and effort, my washer is still not repaired. This experience demonstrates poor communication, lack of ownership, and a process that places the burden entirely on the customer. A protection plan should simplify repairs, not create additional stress. I am requesting proper resolution and a review of Allstate's service practices.

      I filed a claim with Allstate for water damage. I reported a burst supply line and adjuster REMOVEDfalsified my claim report saying the line was dripping. The company refuses to respond to me and will not honor my policy. I have quit Allstate all together and do not recommend them to anyone.

      My Durango was rear ended, my insurance (Allstate) picked up the claim, and they have fought us every step of the way. The adjuster thinks he knows everything but wouldn't even go physically look at the damage or take a video call from the body shop. The floor in the back was crumpled up and instead of fixing it properly, he told the shop to just put a board over it and hammer it out. He has been very shady and unreliable. Now they are refusing to pay $7,000 of the work and are trying to make us cover it. Worst insurance company I've ever dealt with.

      Yes, was a policy holder, for a year worst plan to have. Please, do a paper copy message with them, took my car payment and canceled, my policy staying if your payment, is late after 10 days, policy canceled and still took, my money, said they were sending me a refund, after policy canceled and never did. A scamming company would not suggest going with this company at all. Still, waiting for my refund. REMOVED

      This is the worst insurance company. I have ever dealt with. Please do not get homeowners' insurance with them. If you have a claim they will not settle, they will deny, and they will not come. Look at the issue. They never send an adjuster out. Do not use this company do not use Allstate Insurance. They are terrible.

      Trying to scam me out of $20 for auto insurance even though they aren't going to provide me with any auto insurance. Very unprofessional representatives, and I don't plan on ever doing business with them ever again, and now they have left me in a worse off situation all because they felt like they didn't make enough money off of me and I should be required to make a down payment even though I had already made a payment and accidentally canceled by mistake.
