      I purchased 2 electric batteries for my EGO Power lawn blower. *** makes fraudulent claims that their batteries have a shelf life of 10 years, but might started losing their life after 3 and 4 years respectively. I contacted EGO Power / Chevron concerning my faulty batteries but was told, the batteries were not covered under the 3 year warranty period. EGO states their batteries have a shelf life of 10 years but then only offer a 3 year warranty. Something does not jive here, why would a company only offer a 3 year warranty if they claim their batteries have a shelf life of 10 years. This is both a fraudulent and deceptive marketing shame / promotion of facts that simply are not true.

      I use the Chevron Mobile App on my phone to purchase gas in exchange for points. However, I recently purchased gas on a "double point" Wednesday at my usual qualifying stations but received no points. I'm writing for two reasons: First, it's misleading to attract business based on false promises. I waited and drove less for the last few days so that I could take advantage of the double points today. You can imagine my disappointment when I received no points. Secondly, there is no way to receive help with this app. The chat feature does not connect with a person, and other support avenues did not respond to my complaint.

      On June 25, 2023, I placed an order on Amazon.com for an EGO power+ LM2130SP Lawn Mower after following instructions on EGO's website to order from Amazon.com. The order was fulfilled within week, and the product was unpackaged from a new, sealed package, and registration immediately completed. Throughout the course of use during the summer, one light on the mower became defective, upon visit to a local hardware store who is an authorized EGO retailer and repair center. I was advised to file a warranty claim as this could be an issue with the main control board in the product. EGO advertises a 5 year warranty on all their products and a 3 year warranty on their batteries and chargers. I filed my first warranty claim in December 2023. I was informed a technician would reach back out to me to assist me in troubleshooting my product. This call was never return and the case was closed internally BY EGO . I reached back out to EGO on March 22, 2024 to again inquire about my case. I was informed that EGO does not recognize the "sub-vendor" which provides their product from Amazon. They did however, acknowledge that my product was immediately and successfully registered. After conversing with a customer service technician, supervisor, and a manager, *** has advised that they will not warranty my product, despite my verified registration, and submission of all applicable documentation which they have requested. I was also advised my case cannot be escalated any further, and they suggest I repair or replace my product at my own expense. I now am confronted with a defective $485 dollar piece of equipment which should be under warranty, which I was informed the best solution they can provide is to apologize.

      I purchased an EGO Lawn Mower, Blower and ****** in 2018 and began having power issues. On 9/30/2020, EGO Warranty determined the batteries were at fault and replaced 2 x 2,5 AMP batteries. On 10/22/2020, I emailed Warranty stating I was having the identical issues with power stating the issue could be a defective Blower or Charger which was shorting the batteries. Upon their suggestion, I called Warranty and they determined the batteries were fine and discounted my complaint about the batteries not powering the tools to their specifications. I later learned all batteries were compatible with all tools and used my 7.5 AMP battery on the blower and immediately began having the same problems. The mower also started having propulsion issues. I tried to report this to EGO and was told they did not have a registration or receipt on file, nor proof of communications, and was otherwise out of warranty. After a great deal of searching, I located the proof that I submitted the receipts and communications on the issues and spoke with a supervisor. I submitted all the proof in support of my statements and registrations. After going through troubleshooting, they determined the batteries were not operating correctly, failing after only 2 minutes of use.Based on my previous communication that the Blower must be shorting the batteries, they stated they would replace the Blower, but not the all the batteries damaged by the blower. So now I have $1000.00 of EGO Tools and no batteries to use them, the replacement cost of which is $730.00-$780.00. Complicating the matter, *** sent me a gas powered chainsaw and not a replacement blower .

      I purchased an Ego Snowblower on December 26, 2022 and paid $1,058.94. On January 14, 2024 I opened a warranty case on the unit (it has a 5 year warranty) as the unit had failed and was completely non-functional. Between January 14 and January 31, I was requested to produce a purchase receipt (despite the fact the unit was already registered with Ego) as well as a video verifying the unit was indeed inoperable. As this is my only tool to keep my dive and sidewalks clear, and I live in an area that receives a lot of snow, I was hoping to get the unit repaired or replaced quickly. Out of frustration from lack of any resolution on Ego's part, I took the unit back to where I purchased it (they admitted they did not really service Ego equipment, but were trying to help). I received the unit back and as soon as I used it, it failed again - just like it had before. I received an email from Ego indicating they were going to send me a replacement unit, but after a week I reached out to Ego customer service and was informed the replacement unit was cancelled because my original unit was repaired (which it was not). *** suggested I was to take the unit back for ANOTHER repair rather than honoring their original offer of replacing the unit. I have no faith the unit is 'fixable' and would like to have it replaced, as Ego had offered.

      I purchased an Electric EGO Lawnmover from ****** on 5/8/2023. On 8/22/2023 this lawnmower was dropped off at ****** for repair (by direction of EGO customer Service). I was charged money to get the lawnmower back, and found that the repairs did not fix the issue it was brought in for. I have made many calls to EGO customer service and they say that it is being reviewed and they will call me back. They never called back, so I made one more attempt to get my lawnmower repaired, at that time I was told the case was closed because the repair facility determined that the issue was a none warranty issue. Now I am being directed to take the lawnmower back to the same repair facility again.

      I own an ego lawn mower, 2 snow blowers, string trimmer, multi power head and 2 leaf blowers with 7-8 batteries. I called last week to troubleshoot 3 batteries that were having issues for weeks. Calling customer service is a nightmare. You wait on hold for hours just to be told they will give you a call back. I finally got a call back 4 days later and was told 2 of my batteries are out of warranty for 5 days and the other one I need to be home and able to charge to troubleshoot. When I got around to calling again to troubleshoot 2 days later the representative told me all 3 were defective but they could only replace 1 under warranty because the other 2 the warranty expired on 1/10/2024. I told them I have been trying to contact for weeks but cant sit on the phone for hours waiting for someone to answer. They said they would escalate to supervisor to have them call me within ***** hours. It now is 48 hours so I called back today and waited for 2 hours plus over an hour on the phone with a representative to tell me they have been dealing with system updates and all the supervisors are very busy and they will call me when they can. Very unacceptable customer support. All I would like it to warranty my 2 batteries that were under warranty when I tried to call last week and now they arent.

      I have a mower covered under warranty with EGO. Model #LM2100SP. Serial #*************. I have been attempting to call their customer service number for 2 days for 3 hours at a time without anyone ever picking up the phone. I have pressed 1 for a call back that never comes. I have left a message by pressing 0 for a return call that never comes. Today I called the **************** line for the Z6 mower only to have "****" say he could help me and all he did was dump me back into the call portal for the main **************** line that had me on hold for 3 hours yesterday and another 3 hours today for support I never received. In the mean time I have a mower that has broken twice in 6 months, was properly repaired under warranty last fall (9/5/2023); now has a new issue with the self ********* mechanism - will not engage. Prior service claim # ********.

      I filed a warranty claim with EGO/Chervon in either Sept or Oct of 23 regarding a defective battery. The company agreed the battery was defective and agreed to replace it. Case #******** was opened for a warranty repair/replacement. Several weeks went by and no battery was delivered and mysteriously my case was being shown as closed. I called back to inquire and they opened a new "expedited" case #******** and several months later, they closed it again without sending a replacement battery. I'm now having difficulties contacting anyone from customer service and I still have not received my replacement battery.

      I purchased one their products from Lowes back in April of this past year, a sawzall with a 5amp batterry. I registered product as was instructed and received conformation of the registration. about 3 months after my purchase the battery went bad so I went back to Lowes and they instructed me to make contact with Flex tools. I got my owners manual and got the number and began to call. I called about a dozen times and left a return number each time. The message said they would get back to me within 24 hours, never did. I went to web site and email my complaint about the battery and they never responded. Over the past 4+ months I have called and emailed close to two dozen times with no response. Since I have had to spend another $250 on purchasing another tool to do the job,, of a different brand. And have wasted a lot of time trying to make contact with this company that states I have a 3 year warranty. This is a poor business practice and misrepresentation of the warranty and the quality of their product. And are displaying a lack of concern of warranty practices.
