My electric blanket stopped working and it is within warranty for a replacement. Called and emailed company since 2/2/24 and no answer. *************************** gives you an email address. When you email no one answered. I tried hitting the ************** prompt and that just beeps. I tried Shipping and Receiving Prompt which gives you ************************* voice mail box and it is full. This company is fraudulent since you cannot reach them in order to get a replacement blanket within their stated warranty time.Initial Complaint

Purchase an electro heating blanket for $200 two years ago the blanket has a five-year warranty. It has since scorched both of the blanket controls smells like fire. I have contacted the business by email and several phone calls and no response.Initial Complaint

0n September 09, 2022, I had purchased a Biddeford Electric Blanket from ******** On the box it states that it has a 5 year warranty. I have the original receipt and the original box. The blanket just quit working. The controller does not light up and has no power at all in any outlet. I have called the customer support number every day and it always says that they are closed but to call during business hours monday thru friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. eastern time and then it hangs up. I have hit every button and no answer at any other location on the phone. Their website biddefordblankets.com is not a valid website and takes you to a link that is ngix.com or something like that. I have gone on another website that sells their blankets and I have clicked on the contact us and filled everything out and clicked on submit but it doesn't allow you to submit it, it just doesn't do anything. So I clixked on another email link and sent an email that way but I keep getting an email back that says it is undeliverable and will try again in and I keep getting the same email back saying that it's still undeliverable. I contacted ******* to see if they have a contact number for the company since they are the ones who sell this companies products in their stores and of course they do not. ******* and other stores should not be able to sell these blankets because the company is selling faulty products, has no way to contact them, and sells a product with a 5 year warranty that is basically no good because their is no way to contact the company that makes them. I am not a happy customer. I have thrown away money on a product that doesn't work and basically has no warranty because there is no way at all to contact the company. I just want my money back or a replacement but I can't get either at this point. Please do something about this because I have been trying for 6 months to get a hold of this company to no avail. I see their are hundreds of others in my same situation. HELP!Initial Complaint

We have a twin heated blanket that has stopped working and want to replace it. It is also a replacement that they sent ** in 2023 I believe. I have tried emailing twice and calling several times a day for a week. Biddeford's blankets fail far too fast, but at least in the past I have been able to contact them an gotten a replacement reasonably quickly. Not this time though. We also have a king size Biddeford blanket that we just opened to use while waiting to return the twin. Even with both controllers at high it doesn't get as warm as the twin used to.Initial Complaint

I have a Biddeford Electric Blanket that has gone bad, but is under warranty until 11/24. Repeated attempts to contact the company have gone unanswered. No response. Zero. Zip. I purchased a twin electric blanket 2/6/23 and used it a few times during the winter, then tried using it in December 2023 and the controller and the blanket did not work. I contacted customer service and they had me return the blanket and sent a replacement. During the 1st use the controller produced a burning electrical small and stopped working. I have been trying to contact (by phone and email) Biddeford since that happened and do not get any reply. The original reference number on the return was *****. it is a safety issue when a controller smells like it is burning up.Initial Complaint

Received Biddeford Faux Fur Throw bar code ************ for Christmas 5 year warranty shedding even after a few washes just to stop the shedding. Still shedding all over bed clothes. Just bought this queen size electric blanket for the winter and both controls are broken. Plugged into multiple outlet sources and they both are dead. Beyond disappointing the price I paid for such horrible quality. I want my money back!Initial Complaint

I have contacted the company numerous times; no one answers the phone. I need a replacement for a defective electric throw that I purchased.
