I have purchased 2 electric blankets from this company. Both purchased at ******* but manufactured by Biddeford. As soon as I purchased each of them I went online and filled out the warranty information and submitted it. Within a month or so both blankets stopped working. It was too late to return them to the store so I went to their website to contact the warranty department. I have sent numerous emails to the warranty department yet I've never received one email back. I found a phone number for them and I've tried calling it numerous times also. There are 3 or 4 different options to press when you call their number. Every time I've called I have tried every option and not one time have a gotten a person or a option to leave a message. On their website there is a place just to ask a question or leave a comment so I tried that also. After typing out a message I tried sending it and every time I pressed send I got the same message... That an error had occurred and to try again later. I tried again later but still received the same message. At this point I can not figure out any other way to try to get ahold of them. So I've got $150 worth of electric blankets that don't work and no way to fix that. I'm hoping this may work to either get new blankets or my money back.Initial Complaint

I purchased a Biddeford electric Blanket one year ago. The blanket has a 5 year warranty. About a month ago the electric controller stopped working. Purchase date -9/21/2019 through Amazon Order #***-9572583-9803405 5 yr warranty Paid ****** Blanket started to heat unevenly. I plugged and unplugged blanket. Switched blanket around. Nothing resolved the problem. Now the temperature of the blanket gets super hot in one-two locations to the point of unsafe. Contacted customer service by phone ************** on Mar 2, 2024. No answer. Emailed customer service at ******************************************* No response. Just sent another email on 4/24/2024. Then read online from BBB that business has this ongoing issue that has not been addressed with others. Don't know how to proceed to get my money back.Initial Complaint

I am in possession of 2 electric blankets that are both malfunctioning. They both are in the warranty time period. I have attempted to contact the Biddeford company by both email and phone, to no avail. No response whatsoever. We have been trying for over two years in regards to a purchase of a Queen **** ******** Blanket by BIDDEFORD BLANKETS LLC, not working after a few months! I purchased a full size BIDDEFORD heated blanket in September 2021. The remote stopped working. There is a 5 year warranty. I attempted to contact BIDDEFORD **************** to request a replacement. I have been trying to reach this company since March 29, 2024. I continually receive a message the office is closed and then Im given the hours of operation. I call within those hours. They gave me their email address. I emailed the proper address and I get a quick response to call the 800 number which is always closed. It is a vicious circle. They have always been available before so I a, wondering if this company is even in business anymore. They have always been helpful. I purchased 2 electric blankets from *****************. Within 2 weeks, my blanket burned up and would not work any more. The blanket has a warranty so JCPenney told me to call Biddeford. I called the company during business hours and got a message it was closed. I emailed the company on 3/11/24 and got an automated message to call for faster service. It is not a month later, I have not received an email reply and phone number still says its closed. ************ is the number I called
