Hello, i'm writing to express my concern with my queen size Biddeford blanket that i purchased a few months back (prior to the fall). I plugged it up and it was working find until 2 nights ago. How do i get a new controller? Its too late to take the blanket back due to the fact that i bought the blanket during the early summer. The blanket was purchased at ****** Department store. Biddeford electric throw controller quit working completely, have tried other outlets and it wont come on at all. It was bought almost a year to the date of when it stopped working, a few weeks ago. They offer a 5 year warranty but I have had absolutely no luck reaching them. I have a receipt and also the controller still, but cant seem to upload a video of it showing how its not working.Business Response

I bought a Biddeford Twin Size heated blanket around 2 years ago. I was never able to register it for the 5 year warranty. I purchased a king sized heated mattress pad from kohls on Oct. 15. ****************************************************************************************** One side shows an error message. I checked the connections no luck. If switch controllers then the other controller also shows E. Both controllers work on the one side and neither work on the other side. *** sent emails to two different addresses and no replies yet. Im hoping that someone will reply eventually. I have tried for days to register my blanket online. No matter what avenue I try to get to register the warranty the site says: "Database Error".This is my FIFTH Biddeford Blanket over many years so obviously I love the product, though I liked the previous ones better than this new one as far as heating up when I turn it on. Preheat is pretty useless actually. I want it warm when I get into bed then I can turn it down.I simply need a way to register the warranty online. (Our mail cannot be trusted).Business Response

This Biddeford heating blanket was given to my wife as a Christmas gift last Christmas. It worked that ************ will not work.I went to the Biddeford web site only to find that there is a recall for this item. A phone # *************) is listed to obtain the information on how to proceed, only to be answered by a female trying to sign up for a health product. When I informed her what I was calling about, she stated I must have the wrong number.I checked the recall number again to make sure it was the proper ***************** it was #************.I would like to get this heating blanket replaced or repaired. I received a Biddeford heated throw in December 2022 as a Christmas gift. I used it less than five times and I went to use it today and it doesnt work. It turned on and then turned off.
