I purchased a queen heated mattress pad from Bed ************* a year and a half ago and I went to turn it on this year and its not working at all. I e unplugged it and plugged it back in multiple times and it keeps on saying E in the displays. This item came with a 5 year warranty but I cant find the company website anywhere. I bought this heating blanket sept of 2022 76 dollars. I tried to use it Nov 18w2023 and the remote will not work it has been tested to make sure it is is getting electricity and it still will not work. I bought a new king size biddeford heated mattress pad at target on 11/15/23 for $99. We just put it on our bed and one of the controllers doesn't work. On the warranty card it says there is s website but it doesn't work. I don't see any other way to get ahold of the company to get a replacement controller for a brand new product.Business Response

One of our reps spoke to the customer and got all of her information and sent her a prepaid label to return her blanket for a refund, but the customer is refusing to return the blanket.The customer stated she keeping it as evidence. I am not sure what else we can do. I have left several voice messages for her to call me and as of yet i have not gotten a response. we would really need the blanket back to test it. I am rejecting this response because: Good afternoon:My original complaint filed in November 2023 provided:I purchased a Biddeford electric blanket for my 89 year old mother. Last night it started smoking while she was in bed. It burned a hole in her sheet and there are burn marks on the electric blanket.BBB reached out to Biddeford and summarized the contact as:One of our reps spoke to the customer and got all of her information and sent her a prepaid label to return her blanket for a refund, but the customer is refusing to return the blanket. I feel we have done everything on our end to resolve this issue.I was out-of-town when BBB provided this update and initially closed this matter. In addition, after Biddeford demanded the blanket that caught fire and burned bedsheet be mailed before they would provide reimbursement, my mother was ill with COVID and fell and hit her head, so I was not able to send the materials to them until later in December 2023. But, the prepaid label they provided was invalid and could not be used.I have reached out to Biddeford multiple times, including calling the representative who called me and left a message multiple times, calling customer service that sent me the original *** label on November 17, 2023 *************, with Reference No. *****), emailing customer service multiple times in December 2023 and January **** and no one at Biddeford has responded. In fact, when I have called yesterday and today the number ************ during the day when I press 1 for customer service it says they are closed even though it is during the hours they are supposed to be open (9-5).Thus, can you please reopen this matter as it is a serious issue involving a product that was smoking and burned a hole in my mothers bedsheet. I already provided them with the receipt for the new bedsheet that was burned and I will send them the defective electric blanket and bedsheet in order to receive reimbursement - so that my elderly mother can obtain a new electric blanket and bedsheet.I appreciate your assistance.Thank you,

Purchased a queen size heating blanket and the controller for one side has never worked but now the other side quit working as well. Purchased beginning of this year and so I look up the model number TC11W1 and there are no replacements available. Not to happy!Business Response

Received a Biddeford heated throw blanket on 10/25/23. On 11/12/23 it stopped working completely. I have emailed and called the company to ask about their "5 year warranty guarantee" as the item is not returnable to Aldi directly. Found information online that the item needs to be registered for the warranty... however the main company website as well as the "warranty registration" site are BOTH no longer functional. The phone number gets no response either. I did not even have the blanket for 4 weeks until it stopped working and many others have complained about similar issues. Many others have also pointed out that the company is unresponsive. I'm just looking for another blanket- it was a gift, yes, but it didn't even last 4 weeks and I am not alone in my frustration with the lack of communication from the company who boasts a "5 year warranty".Thank you for your time!Business Response

I purchased a queen size microplush heated blanket from Biddeford around Christmas 2022. The blanket is less than a year old and stopped working. When it is plugged in the remote doesnt even light up and pressing the on button doesnt do anything. I have tried contacting the company several times with no responses back.Business Response
