12/26/2023 I bought a blanket from Bed ************** One of the controllers does not work right. When I try to turn it, It is hard to turn to the setting I want. The blanket is from Biddeford Blankets. I called them multiple times. No one is there, they say the office is closed. I called at the times they said and got the same message the office is closed. I tried to email them and got the message not valid email address. I would like to get a new controller with the wires to it.Initial Complaint

Have a Biddeford mattress heating pad. The controller is acting up--frequently does not respond to button pushes. Attempted to contact the company be telephone multiple times, only to hear that they are closed. But called many different days, and all during typical business hours. Send e-mail, only to receive automated response that says I should call them directly. Attempted to connect with their published website--re-directs to a different firm. Purchased blanket (Comfort Knit, navy, full size) from Amazon on 11/17/2021 and registered it. Has 5 year warranty. Stopped working in Dec. 2023. On 12/20/2023 talked to customer service who said they would send me replacement blanket. Asked them to email me shipping info. Have not received this. I have a king size heated blanket that I purchased a couple of years ago. On the 23rd of December 2023 my husband came into the bedroom and smelled burning electrical and burning plastic. I was in bed and I have no sense of smell so I didnt notice. We checked the blanket and it was very hot and the plug was melted to the blanket. I only use my side of the blanket to warm the bed and then turn off its not left on all night. I have been trying to reach the company since the incident and they never answer the phone, they havent responded to my emails or my ******** messages. I have reported the issue to the us consumer protection agency. I would just like to speak to someone at the company. I could have been seriously injured or worse. We could have had a fire. I purchased a Biddeford Electric Microplush Blanket two years ago and it stopped working. This product has a five-year warranty. I've attempted to reach Biddeford customer service multiple times via email and received no response. The electric blanket is a dual remote. One side works fine and the other side wont work or even turn on. I have tried and tried to call the Biddeford customer service and they will not answer. I reported it online first and they told me to call. But there is no way to reach anyone. I have a 5 year warranty on the blanket. It was purchased at Kohls in dec of 2020. I registered it on Biddefords warranty website when it was purchased as well. I just want it, replaced, repaired, or refunded.Initial Complaint

On April 5, 2O21 I had purchased **************** Heated Mattress Pad with Digital Controller recently the digital controller stopped working. Because this item is evidently still under a 5 year limited manufacturer's warranty initially I'm seeking replacement of the controller and if deemed necessary a full replacement of the item. Unfortunately upon attempting to contact them both by phone and email numerous times I'm not receiving a response. I ordered 2 Twin sized Biddeford electric blankets from ******** Both stopped working and I contacted the company thinking it was the controllers, so the representative ****** sent me 2. I plugged them up and both blankets still don't work. I've tried contacting the company in several ways on numerous occasions and all I get is they are closed. The website isn't theirs either. I purchased a twin electric blanket from Kohls for my daughter for Christmas last year December 2022. Since then the blanket continues to get an error message. I called the company. They sent me a new electric control box. But that still has not solved the problem. Now I have tried to call repeatedly. It sounds like theyre closed. But I have called for over a month and no one is able to call me back or you cant even leave a message. It says the mailbox is full. And customer service says theyre out of the office. The blanket is supposed to have a five year warranty on it. Id really like to get a new blanket or get my money back. ***** is telling me to take this up for the warranty from Biddeford.
