I purchased a biddeford electric blanket less than ago but in Nov.2023 it stopped working. I called customer service and was told they will be sending me the post labels which I should receive in 3-5 days, I have yet to received such labels!! I have been calling customer service everyday but the call goes unanswered, says they are closed and the office hrs are **** eastern time! I purchased a Biddeford twin sized Quilted Mattress Heated pad on Nov 23, 2021 for my daughter's bed. She loved it and it kept her warm until this past fall when it stopped heating well. It barely heats up at all now regardless of the settings. The controller light still functions. I have been trying to contact the Biddeford company regarding the 5 year warranty since before Christmas, but the customer service department on the phone always says they are closed despite calling during normal business hours. I also sent an email over a week ago without any response. I would like to hear back from Biddeford about the warranty and whether they will send me another twin sized mattress heating pad.Initial Complaint

This company has a 5 year warranty. They asked for me to send in one blanket for replacement. 10.22.12 purchased queen size heated mattress pad from Kohls - "biddeford branded"11.20.24 noticed the controller flashing- not working. Tested to make sure it was the controller and not the pad. Confirmed bad controller. Attempted to call the company either for warranty or purchase replacement controller - tried phone number with options 1 thru 4, no answer on customer service, disconnected from business office with no answer, options 3 and 4 were to specific people in shipping and engineering and mailboxes were full. I was gifted a beautiful Biddeford electric blanket Christmas 2022. It worked for a while then stopped. I called the company, spoke to ***** who was kind enough to send a new controller. That did not help. I sent the faulty blanket back, was sent a brand new one, though different color. So this winter, I put it on my bed and started using it around end of November. Worked for about 10 days, now only works in preheat then Shuts off. I have had two brand new blankets in one year, neither worked longer than a month. I have been emailing them almost everyday and calling every business day. No response. I went online to find a venue to complain, I found ****** Customer and told my story. They got back to me today saying Biddeford did receive my email but chooses not to respond to me. I just want a blanket that works. Thats only fair. Id have more respect if they told me they have no interest in honoring the 5 year warranty. They just keep ignoring me. What kind of way to do business is this??Initial Complaint

I bought the Biddeford throw blanket Dec 6th at ******. A few weeks later it stopped working and would not warm up. I called customer service and they got all my information including information on the blanket and told me they registered it and would be sending a replacement in 7 to 10 business days. I purchased a heated throw from Biddeford blankets and filled out a warranty card and submitted. Warranty is good for five years from date of purchase, which was Feb 2019. In March 2019, the heating element no longer functioned and they replaced the blanket. The heating element on the replacement blanket is no longer functioning but when I tried to activate the warranty, no one answers the phone or responds to emails and the voicemail boxes I was able to get to are full. They are still selling items on Amazon but I am concerned that they have gone out of business and will not honor replacing the item, which is still under warranty. Can you please assist? Thanks
