Purchased a Biddeford twin heated micro plush blanket from Kohls in 2020. The controller does not light up to heat the blanket. Have tried multiple outlets. Need replacement controller or blanket. Purchased blanket from Kohls on 9/25 in amount of *****. In December, the blanket stopped heating. After multiple attempts to call Biddeford **************** and 2 email attempts, I have not been able make contact. Each time I call, they state they are closed but I call during their advertised hours of operation. I want a refund at this point and prefer not to have any of their products.Initial Complaint

mattress pad was given to me Oct.2022 as gift. upon using this item this winter i found the pad was not working. statrted calingl the company the beginning of December 2023 with not answer. xalled every day up until this past week (1/15/2024) kept getting a "sorry the office is closed". the item in quesrion mwas only used for approx. 4 months back in the winter of 2022/2023. all i was going to request was a refund/replacement of mattress pad. never got thru to company so i went elseware and purchased a new pad from another company.thats when i deceided to get in touch with the BBB. im hoping you can help in this matter. just want what is fair and what they offered which is a 5 year warranty its only been a little over 1 year, i feel a refund fund should be applied.i tried for weeks and weeks with no help at the companies end. never answered their phone sounded like they may be out of business. i really need your help and thank you in advanceCustomer Answer

thank you very much for your quick response. my mattress pad did have a 5 year warranty(received october ****) and i tried reaching them in december **** when i found out the pad was not working, called everyday after that.no answer. i guess i am just out of luck so my question is if you can answer is the company still in busines as my daughter/grandson also purchased from them. i appreciate any more info you have, as i found that they are still selling them in the stores i have looked at. for example JCP and Kolhs. there may be more. thanks for all you help and information.if mroe information is needed from me let me know.*************************Initial Complaint

I purchased an electric blanket from Amazon for my step father for Christmas. He has only used the item a few times this weekend he needed it specifically due to extreme cold and the product would not operate for longer that 5 minutes before an " E" would appear on the heat dial/on/off switch. I brought the product home tried it myself and it did not work. Product carries a 5 year manufacturer warranty. I spoke to Amazon and since is was purchased 12-11-22 they instructed me to contact manufacturer. I have emailed 3 times and called at least 5 times and I am either told the business closed (called during business hours) or none of the numbers have answering services avail/mailbox are full. Biddeford blanket failed under warranty (lasted 90 days). Replacement failed immediately, right out of the box. Biddeford has always been very good on honoring their warranty and they are nice and helpful people, but I cannot reach them by phone or by e-mail. Phone either rings then disconnects, rings then goes beep-beep-beep, rings, press 1 for customer service, goes dead, or no response during stated normal business hours.Sent an e-mail, auto-reply said call the customer service number (which I've been doing for three weeks). Website won't connect either (configuration problem?).I see I'm not the only person with this problem, and I do see they are responding through BBB so I don't think they are out of business.I'm not mad at them, but I'd sure like a working electric blanket . . .Full double OBGO2, tracking number is X223JM2031544-7. Called the business to report a throw that wasnt working. Said they would send out a return label 5-7 days. Never received so they resent. Never received. Called again they were going to mail it. Still nothing. Its been over a month. Now I cant get through to them. Always say the business is closed. Refer# ***** I feel they never attempted to fix this issue. I should have gotten an e-mail at least one out of two. Checked spam plus if they sent to home address I certainly would have received it. This was bought early last year on clearance and I didnt keep the receipt. It was marked down to $34 according to the box. Now I would like a refund since they are unreliable.Initial Complaint

I bought a Biddeford king size plush electric blanket for my son for Christmas. After taking it out of the box and putting it on his bed it worked great. However the second night, I noticed neither one of the controllers worked. *** tried multiple things according to the troubleshooting Ive found online and nothing has worked. I cant seem to get ahold of the company using the telephone number provided online and there is no website that actually works. I would like either a new blanket or new controllers. I returned warranty card on twin biddeford electric blanket. I have tried to contact them for a month. Noone answers. I am due a replacement. Only had one year, only used 3 months.
