On January 5, 2024 we purchased Biddeford heated mattress pad from amazon for $113.91. The company advertised full warranty for at least a year. The product failed within first two weeks. I had purchased 2 blankets from Biddeford blankets, they are still under warranty. Both of these blankets no longer function. I called the ***** number and the message on the phone continually states that the office is closed and to call during regular hours 10 am-6pm eastern time- which I am, I called in the afternoon, I tried at 3, and another day at 5:30 and still I get the same answer. I tried punching a different ext and the phone gets disconnected, and another where the voicemail is full. I tried their website and the only contact information was to send an email so I filled out the information and when it was time to submit- it wouldnt work- a message oftry again later kept popping up.I then tried sending an email through my personal email address but have yet to hear from anyone.I have had biddeford blankets for years and have always been able to call customer service when my blanket quite working ( which was once a year- not great quality however their warranty made it a good deal because they would have me send in the broken blanket and then they would send me a replacement) however this time it seems they are no longer making it possible to contact their business.Initial Complaint

My Biddeford blanket stopped working, and in December the company sent me a new controller. The new controller worked for one day. Since then, I have called Biddeford to report the problem, but no one answers the phone. I also sent an email, and there has been no reply. My blanket is still under warranty. The next step should be for me to return this blanket and receive another one. However, I cannot get in touch with anyone at Biddeford.Initial Complaint

I was given an electric blanket manufactuered by Biddeford Blankets for Christmas 2023 (the exact date i received the gift was 1/6/24 as this was the first time i saw the gift giver since Christmas). I opened the box plugged in the blanket and it did not turn on with the controler, no light even elluminated on the controller. I unplugged it and plugged it into another wall outlet to see if that could be the problem, still nothing. I unplugged the controller from the blanket and let it sit for a minute and then plugged it back into the blanket and tried again. Still nothing. The gift giver did not have the reciept at the time of the gift exchange and could not find it so i could attempt to exchange from the store, SO i decided to utilize the 5 year warrenty offered by the company. I tried calling the company several times, the message i get no matter what time of day is that the business is closed, i tried all the number options as well and nothing. Have tried on multiple days as well. I have emailed the company three times and have not recieved any reply what so ever. Is this business still in business. Why are they still selling blankets if they are not willing to assist customers with the warrenty. I would like a replacement blanket or controller at the very least so i can start using the blanket that i recieved for Christmas that is no use to me if it does not work. 2/1/24 Attempting to contact company in reference to warranty. Called the customer service number **************.Reached a recorded message stating the offices were closed despite the recording also stating the ************.Per the recording, the offices should have been open. Unable to access a functional, company website.Initially the server redirected to a generic message.Tried multiple links from multiple websites. Many of the links were sourced from third party warranty pages.The main third party website links were 404, not foundEventually I found one that took me to the actual website.I attempted to use the contact us option. I purchased an electric blanket I believe from Kohls in 2022. The blanket has worked fine and still works but only on one side..the controller on the other side will not turn on. I have tried many many days to call their customer service since I believe mid December and it just says we are closed at this time even though during their normal business hours. I have also sent an email with no response! I just need a new controller for one side I believe but am not able to even get anyone to troubleshoot it with me! I have done the obvious and unplugged and replugged in outlet and different outlet, have also looked to see if there is a fuse of any type but not able to locate if there is. I just need help..winter will be over here soon with a useless electric heating blanket Ive had all winter..its a shame my husband has had to freeze all winter??***
