1 starI took my vehicle to Gerber Collision ********, ********* location January 2023. A preliminary estimate was preformed. The estimate quoted the amount of repairs was about $3000.I returned to Gerber Collision 8 weeks later for Gerber Collision to begin repair of my vehicle.I arrived for my scheduled appointment. A different Estimator, ***, greeted me. *** said my estimate would change. The estimate went from $3000 to $6000. Gerber Collision did not notify me of changes. My drivable car sat a Gerber Collision for 6 days. I call *** to see what was going on with my car. *** had no parts and no work had been completed on my vehicle. I retrieved my vehicle and did not go back. I have no trust in Gerber Collision. The manager knew there was an issue and did not contact me.State Farm does business with Gerber Collision. This is how I came to know Gerber.Review fromRoger L

1 starExtremely Disappointing Experience Avoid at All Costs!I recently had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing encounter with this auto repair shop. Despite its convenient location near my home, my decision to bring my car here for repairs turned out to be a colossal mistake. My initial visit was to get an estimate following a rear-end collision. However, I never received an estimate or any information about what repairs were covered by my insurance. Despite this, the shop went ahead with the repairs, raising a significant red flag right from the start.Upon receiving my car back, I was shocked to find that not only were the repairs incomplete, but my vehicle was returned in an appalling state contaminated with rodent droppings! It's unimaginable that a professional establishment could subject a customer to such conditions.I addressed these concerns with ******, the manager, who assured me that my car would be thoroughly detailed as a gesture of apology. Unfortunately, this promise turned out to be yet another disappointment. Not only was my car not adequately cleaned, but the attempt to clean it resulted in further damage my console was ruined due to the use of improper cleaning agents.I strongly advise anyone considering this repair shop to steer clear. The lack of communication, incomplete repairs, and overall negligence in maintaining a basic level of cleanliness make this establishment entirely unsuitable for anyone seeking quality service. In conclusion, my experience here was beyond terrible, and I am left with a damaged car and a deep sense of frustration. I am taking steps to address these issues and hope that others can be spared from the same ordeal.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

1 starAn allstate client rear ended my truck, I was told by allstate I had to bring it here for an estimate, I'm no auto body tech, but the left out obvious damage, the tailgate os pushed in and the quarter panel was damaged they basically wrote up the bumper that's it. I'm pretty sure they work with allstate to.lowball people and if they are like that with a simple estimate I can't imagine what they do during repairs.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

1 starI could go on and rant and rave about how you wont get your vehicle repaired in a timely fashion so expect to pay if your insurance has specified coverage dates, or the fact that no one ever seems to have a clue about anything going on so expect to be promised call backs, which by the way never seems to ever transpire, but what will really will put you over the edge is when the insurance company issues them over a check (that they have cashed) and your stuck overpaying due to their technical error! Its been over a month and ** still waiting for them to get their s$@&! together and reimburse me back $1,000.00 dollars. Unless money isnt an issue then enjoy their poor services. This seriously took me over the limit at the worst possible time and theres no supporting, reliable customer service. Its just not right.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

1 starMy ********** Atlas was involved in an accident on February 4th, 2023. On February 10th, 2023, I had my car towed to Gerber Collision & Glass. At that time, Gerber informed me that they would not be able to assess my car for another two weeks, to which I agreed. However, it took them until the third week to finally bring my car into the shop for inspection.During that time, Gerber ran the estimates but had to wait for my insurance company's response. After a week had passed, I contacted my insurance company, only to be told that they were still waiting for the auto body shop's feedback. Concerned about the status of my car, I promptly called the auto body shop and requested the estimate, emphasizing that my insurance needed it to determine whether my car would be declared a total loss. To my surprise, Gerber informed me that they had already provided the estimate to my insurance, which turned out to be untrue. It wasn't until the beginning of April that I received the estimate. The shop assured my insurance that they were in the process of ordering the necessary parts, but one part was on back order, causing a delay. Eventually, on May 30th, the back-ordered part arrived, and the shop notified me via text message that all the parts were in and they would begin working on my car soon. However, when I called the shop on June 12th, two weeks later, to inquire about the progress, I was informed that they hadn't even started the repairs. Instead, they had prioritized four other cars ahead of mine. By this time I reached out to my insurance to help expedite the process. The shop assured me they would commence repairs by the end of the week, which would be June 16th. Only to find out that was a lie. Six months into repairs no car. Meanwhile, I am still making payments for my car loan, insurance, and now car taxes for a vehicle I don't even have. I urgently need assistance in resolving this matter. I would like to be compensated for the money and time I have lost.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

We are sorry to hear this and sincerely apologize for this frustrating experience. We understand that General Manager ****************** has been in contact with you to discuss your concerns and that we have completed our repairs with exception for a backordered shield that the dealership still has no firm arrival time for. We understand that a towing provider is on the way to get the vehicle this morning and tow it to the dealership so that they can complete the airbag repairs/programming and to fill transmission fluid. That dealer stated it will be the middle of next week before they are completed. If you need any additional assistance please feel free to give us a call.Review fromRodney H

3 stars2015 **** Flex. Date of completion 7/20/23 Quality of repair very good and on schedule. Prior to any work, my driver's side door was damaged and would not lock. Several items were stolen out of vehicle, such as floor mats. Various photos are taken as work progresses which are sent to insurance companies as well. The staff at Gerber sorted through any photos showing floor and told me no mats were in the photos implying the car arrived with no mats. However, my insurance claim agent advised there is a photo clearly showing a floor mat on drivers side (flag 1). One of Gerber's staff later told me that they had issues with someone climbing their fence in recent weeks (flag 2). After my insurance company investigated I was advised that Gerber's GM ******** would be contacting me as the stolen items are not covered by insurance. Gerber's staff had also told me that ****** would calling me. As of this review, no one from Gerber has contacted **** reported the missing items floor mats immediately. Its my wife's car so additonal missing items were discovered once she did inventory. We feel violated and offended from no response from Gerber **** **. Whether internal or external there is a thief on their property. As a result I do not reccomend this **** location. I could have rated them one star but as I began this review, their work is quality. But their customer service (after getting paid) is very poor.I stand by to ammend my review if their GM is professional enough to step up and make this right.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

1 starBad communication, bad service If you care about your time money and property I would avoid Gerber like it was the plague. I took my car in here for a dent smaller than a dime cause my paint was chipped and didnt want it to rust or expand. I was quoted a 3 day time frame for this repair. While they were repairing my door they managed to break two of my belt moldings on my window. This part was back ordered with their vendors but I have been able to find them from multiple sources. Not once while they had my car did they call me to update me on my vehicle, and times I called to ask about the status of my vehicle I was told the person in charge of my car wasnt there and Id be called back, I never once did get a call back. After almost two months of waiting I was called by my insurance informing me that I either had to come get my car unfinished or pay a large amount for my rental car because ****** refused to take accountability and penalized me for their actions. I was also informed that my car was washed while it didnt have its belt moldings exposing it to water and other debris. During the time they had my car there were multiple hail storms and heavy rain, as well as pollen season and never got word that any measures were made to protect the interior of my car door as there were no belt moldings. Now Im short a 500 dollar deductible and driving around an unfinished car which is now susceptible to more damageReview fromLouis D

1 starWaited 2 weeks for a simple glass repair. Was told the part was only available OEM from a dealership and in national backorder. Contacted another glass company. They went to the dealership down the street from them and picked up the part. The part was never on backorder, in fact it's a common part. The other company even charged me less to do the install.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters
