1 star******, ** - They damaged my wife's vehicle (truck) beyond what we brought it in for, and then talked down to her like she was just another dumb female that doesn't know about cars.****** did ***** know... I recorded that conversation remotely, with my wife's consent. I knew he would deny it! My wife works at a law office, changes her own oil, brakes, and does a lot more than I even know how to do.So now, they deny creating extra damage from their haphazard work ethic, but they also deny that a conversation never happened, which unfortunately for him, was recorded.I'm so happy my insurance company just pulled back and is allowing a second company to fix their damage... This was ridiculous, but it confirms all of the other reviews I've seen here.A fish rots from the head - this issue starts at the top.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

1 star******* ** location. I worked with my insurance company to ensure that they would cover a full replacement quarter panel instead of opting for a bang out repair. ****************** conferenced Gerber into the call to bring them up to speed on this aspect. Gerber was resistant to providing our insurance company an estimate for a replacement instead of a bang out. We followed up a few days later and Gerber tells us that they are no longer willing to do the repair. Be your own judge but that struck me as smelling fishy. Buyer beware.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

1 starGerber Collision And Glass, ******.The ****** shop located at *********************************************************************** is one of the worst places to take you vehicle if you should happen to have had an accident. 1. You have to wait for a very long time to even get an appointment to get an estimate (February accident, July for an estimate) Drove my car during this time without any problem except for the air and the broken fog lights.2. You have to wait for months before they will give you an appointment to get it fixed( July date to start repairs)3. They try to total your car even it is a minor damage, and even got the insurance company to write it off as total loss 4 .I was told that they cannot get parts, then for whatever reason they choose to total your vehicle even if you are able to get it fixed somewhere else. No body damage on the car except for the fog lights and A/C but yet they wanted to total the car 5. Lots of paperwork and phone calls to have my vehicle return to me the owner. 6. Drove my car in to Gerber except for the fog lights and A/C that were damaged but had to have my vehicle towed to another shop after they broke it down to fix the fog lights, nothing to do with me driving the car or how it drove prior to dropping it off 7. Gerber did not return phone calls, which delayed me getting my car back for almost two weeks. Had to be without a rental until I got my car fixed at another shop 8. They over charge and **** up repair costs 9. I drove my car into the shop without any problems and once they got done with it, it was not in driving condition.10. Don't know what they did to the car but it was drivable when I dropped it off to have the fog lights and the A/C fixed but un-drivable with clicking noise that was not there when I dropped it off. Please do not take your car to Gerber Collision And Glass especially the one in ******.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

1 starMy car was brought to this collision shop for insurance work to have a rim replaced in October of 2021. The collision shop ordered the rim in the wrong offset and put it on my car assuring me they were Ording the correct one for my car to be installed when it arrived. Its been almost two years exactly and they still have not installed the correct rim on my car. I have called them multiple times and gone to the shop in person and every time they assure me that they didnt forget about me and promise to call in a couple days with an update. I have not received one call text or email from them. As soon as I leave they just pretend like I dont exist and its not their problem to correct. Just trying to pacify me and get me to leave. They are very unprofessional and I wouldnt trust what they tell you. If possible I would give zero stars.Review fromDwana C

1 starGerber ******** out of **********, *******, fraudulent activity, poor communication among staff. They overcharged my insurance company which has raised my rates. Knowingly replaced my perfectly fine tires on my car with unsafe, defective tires that caused my car to vibrate when i get to a certain speed. I complained several times about the tires. Even took my car to the dealership to get checked. They agreed with the dealership that the tires were defective, agreed to switch out the tires but then would not return my phone calls when i tried to set an appointment to get the tires changed. So now after they have overcharged my insurance company, I'm now having to replace the tires myself.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

1 starCar had minor damage to bumper only. Gerber replaced with aftermarket bumper which did not fit properly they agreed. Next installed oem bumper which did not fix well either. Pooched out. Next they installed new bracket and it got worse. I appreciate that they tried twice, but they gave up before getting it right. I would have been better off just touching up myself. Complaining to bbb and insurance. DONT GO THERE 100% guarantee my foot.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

1 starMy insurance, USAA, had me bring my car to Gerber in *******, ** off of *******************. I encountered ***************** who was to estimate my car. I had been slammed into by another car while I was sitting in a drive-through, on my passenger side. ****** lost control of his car and slammed into me and kept going, into the two cars in front of me...it was a pretty hard impact since I was not moving and it pushed my car up over a curb almost into the building. I have a 2015 Cadillac SRX. I could still drive it, just couldn't really open the passenger door. Brought it to Gerber on June 19 (I believe) and **** did the estimate without opening the door to see the rocker panel damage, or noting the damage to the driver side wheel. Also, and this is key, when I took my car there, my Entertainment Screen was working, that was of no issue/concern. I picked the car up and **** had me test drive it. It had a strong hum sound and "whomp whomp" sound from the left wheel. When I returned, I told ****. He took the car out to drive with me, telling me that "this is the sound a car makes, when you let off the gas". Ummm, I'm 50 years old and have had this car for 5 years, I don't think so. I took it home for my husband to drive; we returned the next day and I said I NEVER want to deal with ****, so I got ***** **** drove it, he said it needed a new wheel bearing and noted "that is weird". Not really since my car was pushed over a curb. But, what do I know. I picked up the car and noticed on my way home, the Entertainment Screen was non-functional. I called ****, he had no clue why, but asked me to come back. I did, sat there for 2 hours while he did who knows what, said he'd have to do further research, and I had to take an Uber home! Then, he calls me and says they don't know what happened, must be age of vehicle, they can't do anything. USAA kept asking if it was accident related, no, it was GERBER related. I ended up FIXING THE SCREEN MYSELF FOR $30. HORRIBLEGerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

1 starIf there was a such thing as a negative 0, Gerber Collision would definitely get it. Why do these insurance companies keeping contracting with us company! The employee turnover is terrible! When you request to speak to previous employees, they are gone, and the present employees have no clue as to what is going on with your car! Not to mention, Im still waiting on parts from from an accident that happened in May of 2022. The paint job was awful on the bumper. Who paints over rock chips without asking the customer if they want the chips repaired! Im not sure what the insurance company gets on the backend, but they should be ashamed and embarrassed to have them on the list of preferred businesses!!!Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters
