    We signed a contract with Gast Monuments and paid $390.00 on March 3, 2022 by check to engrave a four digit date of death on an existing head stone at *************************** in ****** **. Despite numerous email and phone call complaints to ******************* the work was never completed.

    The monument for my mothers grave site was supposed to be installed last fall (2022). To date there has been no delivery or any contact from the company despite repeated phone calls and emails to numerous people at the company

    I ordered and paid for a headstone from **** Monument in August 2022. The monument was never produced, **** provided back order and illnes excuses ((specifically *******************) for months. My emails and phone calls are not returned. This is appalling to scam families dealing with death.

    August 2022; gravestone ordered and down payment made. February 2023; balance paid after we were informed the gravestone is ready. April 2023; was informed deliveries would be starting and be completed by the end of the month.May 2023; we find out the **** is not allowed to deliver to the cemeteries due to non-payment of their bills/fees. May 8, 2023; **** informed us they are working on a solution with the cemeteries.June 6, 2023; as of today the gravestone has not been installed and **** has not returned my emails or calls since early May.

    I was recommended the company from the cemetery my late grandmother was buried at. I made the required deposit November 2021 and was promised a delivery date of SPRING/SUMMER 2022. The company requested the final balance to which was paid a total of ******** it is now June 2023 and the marker has still not been delivered to the cemetery, I have requested a refund, after given several excuses now the company won't return my emails or phone calls.

    We ordered two Grave markers (one for each of my parents) on March 18, 2022 and April 27, 2022 with delivery dates of Summer/Fall 2022 and Winter 2022 respectively. We paid in full for both headstones ($1630 and $1480). Neither headstone has been completed. We are being told of supply chain issues and please be patient. Two other family member recently passed away and their children have been able to order the exact same headstone with no supply chain issue from another company. We have been in communication with **** to obtain a refund for not fulflling the contract. We have asked them to cancel the contract and refund our money. They rarely respond to our emails and when they do they ask ** to be patient. We have since ordered headstones from the other company and are trying to get a refund.

    Ordered a new grave marker May 2022. Computer renderings were approved and stone was paid in full. We were told there were supply-chain issues so expect a delay in delivery until late fall. Fall arrived, still no stone. Now winter arrived so no stone could be placed. It is now May 2023 and with it came a letter from **** stating all *********************** restricted them from delivering/placing stones--supposedly with no explanation whatsoever. They even stated they owed no money to any cemetery. When I called ******* Archdiocese for Catholic Cemeteries I was told **** owes them "tens of thousands of dollars" so no stone from them will be accepted until their balance is paid in full and they receive the applications required to place a stone. They looked on their database to see if an application was filed for our stone, nothing was there. This application is usually filed the same day approval of the stone is completed. What is the likelihood of them paying their debt to Catholic Cemeteries in order to release the stone we paid in full?? **** claims Catholic Cemeteries is lying, Catholic Cemeteries said **** is lying. Every one of our family members stones were made by ****--this goes back 65 years since our 1st stone was purchased. I was also told they knew about their financial responsibility for nearly a year! But, they took our payment gladly!! We are out of a stone, no recourse/reimbursement offered. This makes me sad and mad at the same time. Buyer beware.

    Ordered and place $1,000.00 deposit for a tombstone with Gast Monuments (*********** Office) on July 8, 2022. Charge reflected on my credit card. January 25, 2023 received notification that the tombstone was ready and would be installed as soon as weather permitted. Balance of $470.00 due. I paid the balance due. When I received my credit card bill on March 2, 2023 not only was I charged for the balance due of $470.00 but another $1,000.00 was charged. I notified **** and **** acknowledged it was a double charge error. However, I have not received a refund. They do not answer their phone and phone message says voicemail is not regularly checked. Emails are not answered either. After many attempts, including personally going to the *********** Office, I finally received an email on April 4 from ******************* indicating the refund would be "expedited". It is now April ***************************************************** reading other complaints about the company it seems others have had the same experience.

    Signed proposal and submitted $390 payment 11/28/2022 to engrave Step-Mothers date of death on headstone. Payment provided with **** CC through CardConnect on web portal; Transaction ID: ************. Later noticed 2 identical $390 charges on **** statement from Gast Monuments. First posted on 11/29/22 and second on 12/5/22. Sent email requesting refund on 1/11/23, 2/3/23 and 2/17/23. Sales representative responded to emails and cc'd ******************* in accounting who has not replied to date. Confirmed as of 2/27/23 **** account has not been credited.
