Was promised monies owed due to class action suit with Intuit. Made several phone calls advising monies never receipt. Sent multiple emails advising monies not received. We investigated the clients complaint and confirmed that the settlement administrator issued a settlement payment to the client in November 2022. Late last week, we provided the client with a copy of the cleared check image showing that the client has been paid and let the client know we are available to answer any questions. In 11/2020 joined Turbo tax class action lawsuit with ****** Law, LLP. 12/2021 & 4/2022 Keller Lenkner sent me an email for current contact details. 5/2022 I received email saying they reached a *************** portion was only $139.08. I complained bcuz my amount quoted was much higher & the fees they deducted I never agreed to. They took a screenshot of my signature & pasted it onto a pdf document. Their website says they take up to 40% fees but they took almost 100%. Then they offered me to $200.00 6/7/2022. I signed up to receive the $200 which was promised 3-4 months later. That was 8/2022. 9/11/23 i asked where my payment is? ****** replied "settlement administrator will request that they perform a thorough investigation to locate your payment." 10/12 i follow up & ********** replied "no recent updates regarding your reissue". Every time I tried to email them i get a reply saying "This email is to notify you that our offices are currently experiencing a high volume of inquiries, and it may be some time before we are able to provide a response to the message that you have sent us." They've now changed their name 3rd time since I been waiting for my money to ******************************************** Please help me to get the money I was awarded. I was already robbed by turbotax and now I am being ripped off by the lawyer who claims to be helping us people who were lied to & ripped off by ripping us off even more than turbo tax did!! When **************** hired our firm to pursue an individual arbitration claim, she signed a retention agreement that set forth in detail the terms of our engagement and our attorney fee. However, after we obtained a settlement offer on her behalf, we agreed to significantly discount our fee to ensure she received a larger recovery. She recently contacted us to let us know she had not yet received her settlement payment. Both we and our settlement administrator commenced an investigation into her payment status and discovered there was a technical issue with her settlement release that has delayed her payment. In light of this delay, Keller Postman has offered to expedite the amount of the settlement payment to her. We are awaiting her response and will continue to work with her to ensure she is satisfied with our representation.Customer Answer

They failed to send me my payment. They were aware of me NOT getting paid & now they wanna force me to agree to be satisfied?? Im NOT satisfied. I didn't receive their promise. I already signed whatever they wanted for that payment. Until i receive that payment I have nothing to say to them.Take responsibility and make it right by sending me my money promised or u will breach our agreement. I've already signed paperwork for it. Ur getting way more than the 40% u advertise on ur website & the class action .org website states as a maximum cap, plus a $750 fee, plus other attorney fees u deduct. I dont even get the amount of money I gave Turbo tax. I feel like I've been cheated by both them & u. And the lousy amount u agreed to pay me u still have not. And in order to send me the payment we already agreed on u now want me to agree to what? Not report u to the bar association? It's my absolute right report anyone who fails to pay me my money that i won in a settlement or lawsuit. U failing to pay me over a period of months is unacceptable. I'm one of many many others u have done this to in the same settlement.

I was contacted by Keller Postman, LLC over a year ago regarding the Turbo Tax Settlement. I was told I would receive it in Venmo, after a few months I hadnt received it so I reached out and was sent an email claiming that they attempted to send it and it failed they would be issuing a check and mailing it to soon. That was over 6 months ago. I believe this business to be a scam. They represent customers in settlements but when it comes down to it they just keep your money and dont pay out. We investigated Ms. ******* complaint and, according to our settlement administrator, she elected to receive her settlement payment via Venmo. However, it appears her Venmo payment expired before she was able to claim it. We contacted the settlement administrator and requested that Ms. ******* payment be reissued on an expedited basis. We wrote to *************** with an update, letting her know we would provide her with a tracking number ASAP, and she did not express any further concerns. I am writing to file a formal complaint against Keller Postman LLC, a law firm located at ****************************************************************************. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the matter, I have been unable to obtain a resolution or even basic communication from the firm regarding an outstanding issue.I engaged the services of Keller Postman LLC to handle a legal matter, and as part of their agreement, they issued a settlement check to me. However, to my disappointment and frustration, I have yet to receive the funds owed to me despite their assurances that the check would be reissued promptly. It has now been several months since they made this promise, and I am still left without the compensation I am rightfully owed. Initially, I maintained a professional and patient approach, understanding that unforeseen delays can occur. However, my attempts to contact Keller Postman LLC have been met with silence. Phone calls go unanswered, voicemails are ignored, and emails are left unacknowledged. This lack of communication is not only unprofessional but also raises concerns about the firm's integrity and commitment to its clients.I request your intervention to mediate this matter and ensure a fair resolution. Please assist in compelling Keller Postman LLC to reissue the check promptly and establish reliable communication.I have retained relevant documentation and can provide additional evidence if required.To further add more problems to the complaint, I originally signed up to have the payment made by ACH Bank transfer.. Our settlement administrator originally sent ************************ his settlement payment in December 2022. He contacted ** in February 2023 and stated that he has not yet received his payment. We told ************************ that we would be happy to cancel his check and reissue another check, but that process can take several months. He agreed with that timeline, so we asked our settlement administrator to proceed with canceling his check and reissuing payment. It took our settlement administrator longer than anticipated to reissue his payment, but we communicated with *********************** throughout the process. This law firm is corrupt. The told me I would receive my ******** settlement via zelle. It never came through. I then reached out by phone and got through however the man who answered the phone informed me the zelle payment FAILED. My account works just fine receiving and sending so I knew that was a lie. I reached out via email giving a lengthy explanation of how they have failed to communicate and be transparent about the settlement. All I received was more lies about how a check would be sent to my address and Id receive a verification email before hand. Never got either (check, email). Do NOT fall victim to their scheme. According to our records, Ms. ******* settlement payment was issued on January 9, 2023 to her bank account via Zelle, which is the method of disbursement she selected, using payment information she inputted.On January 23, 2023, ****************** contacted ** to let ** know that she received a notification that her Zelle payment had failed. We agreed to request that her payment be reissued by paper check, and we submitted that request to the settlement administrator. Unfortunately, that request has taken longer than anticipated, due to the fact that the settlement administrator has been waiting for the funds to be returned from Zelle. The settlement administrator has assured ** that they should receive the returned funds and be ready to reissue Ms. ******* payment via expedited shipping in the coming days. We attempted calling **************** to update her on the situation, but we were unable to reach her and left a voicemail. In July 2022 I received a letter telling me that a settlement had been reached. I was told that i was awarded ****** and that my share after their fees was ******. So first of all that is them taking more than 35% of my ******. Then there is the fact that I was told my check would get sent in December, except it didn't come.When I called and asked why I did not get the check I was told it had been mailed in November. Now I can't reach anyone on the phone or by e-mail. Please help me to get the money I was awarded. We spoke with Ms. ****** over the phone several times about her BBB complaint. We explained that her original settlement check was sent by the settlement administrator in November 2022, but it was returned as non-deliverable. We explained that, in her retainer agreement, she agreed to pay us a flat fee for our representation of her, but we reduced the agreed upon fee in our discretion. Even though her original settlement check was returned,Ms. ******* reissued payment was slated to be mailed in the next week as part of a routine reissue process. But we explained that we were happy to re-issue her payment separately on an expedited basis. Ms. ****** agreed with this course of action and, as soon as a tracking number was available, we shared it with her. We explained her settlement payment was mailed to her in August 2022 and, according to our records, the payment was successfully delivered to her address. We also explained why she received two *************************************************************************** concerns. We have not yet received a response from **************, but we will continue to work with her to ensure that she has no further concerns for us.
