            Hello, Service Master by Zaba came to my house due to ice dam in my dining room hence they came to do mitigation and then they would do the repairs of my ceiling on 4/15/2021. Please see the picture attached of the result of the mitigation on 4/15/2021 ( there are nails in the ceiling, loose wire, and the electrical is not secured). After multiple calls and complaints they came to finish the mitigation as the new contractor was going to charge me extra for the unfinished mitigation. Prior to them coming back on 4/30/2021 I had already made Service Master by Zaba aware of the damages in my dining room and spoke with B.B. The mitigation cost $3,793.34 and State Farm Insurance paid Service Master by Zaba directly. The damages to my come will cost $1,113.91 for the repairs in my dining room and $1,000 for the custom shutter repairs. I am asking Service Master by Zaba to pay for these damages and they have already collected payment from my insurance. Please help me! Thank you!

            "We have an Act of ******** Policy" that's what I was told when a technician went out of his way to make sons' day. As a mother who has a special needs child I have to consider a lot more factors that can impact my family in any situation. In February my son's room was affected by an ice dam, it was actually raining through the window, I was frustrated because I am working from home, I have an infant, I have e-learning going on for my 8yr old, and I have a 4 yr old austic child at home, and now this. I was not able to call insurance right away because of so much happening all at once. I finally got around to it 1 week later and dealing with insurance was not easy, they had too many calls from so many ice dams. I called three restoration companies and explained to them I have a special needs child who also has anxiety and I needed to make sure we can come up with a plan to get the work done. Everyone I spoke with was not very understanding, so I felt that way, I think they thought I was overreacting, I know everyone was busy. My agent told me to call this ******************** and I am glad I did, they were very understanding and took care of me. The manager that came out to my house said he has a nephew with autism so he understands what I am going through. He explained that they will be making noise during the tear out process as well as leave machines for a few days that make noise. My son is very sensitive to noises so I knew this was going to be an issue. ****, the project manager, recommended I call insurance and explain to them I will need a place to stay for a few weeks, although I only have one room with water damage, I am in a situation where I cannot be at home with my child during this process. **** asked me to call while he was at my home and luckily we were able to get a hold of someone and they completely understood my situation. I was placed in a hotel for a few weeks. ServiceMaster worked quickly to get the room dried out and repaired. I was unable to do the final inspection with them because I was running late. When I came home I thought it would be dusty and they left everything clean, the room looked great, but what was very touching was a package that they left for my son on his bed, it had a few cars and a soccer ball. They actually took notice of my son's interests by seeing what was in his room and kindly bought him some toys, I did not expect this at all. My son was so happy. I called one of the techs that was here waiting for me who had to leave and just thanked him so much. **** the technician said it is our policy to do kind things for people. If I could give them 100 stars I would!
