    This company has deplorable business practices and will initiate a subscription renewal without proper notification of upcoming charges. They should be banned from all payment processing until such time they clean up their act and offer advance notice of subscription renewals along with the ability to change the card charged prior to any renewals. Avoid this company at all costs.

    My product is C Cleaner whose billing was taken over by Cleverbridge. They are a professional "hiding from the customer" company. There's no way to call them for Support - only online repetitious spin connections - once you've filled out one form you are forwarded to the next until you're back at the start. I'll be reporting them to the BBB.

    When I purchased a subscription on 11/2/24, I received a confirmation email that clearly stated my renewal payment date would be 11/2/25 but NO. They charged my credit card $44.95 on 10/3/25 and good luck trying to remove it from your account. I've used the free version for years, got a good promo price but would never recommend this product to anyone over their deceptive renewal process.

    scummy sleaze ball auto renewal tactics that charge your account DOUBLE Pain in the rear to get a refund, but I got one. Now I will never use anything from this company. They know the products are **** so they resort to scam loopholes to steal your money. Shame on every employee who works for this place.

    Cleverbridge signs you up and then renews you automatically every year. When your subscription has been reactivated, they send an email indicating such. When you try to cancel, they tell you will have to wait until the end of the year. $31.95 down the tube. No phone numbers are available to reach this rip off company. **************************************

    After carefully checking our records, we found no prior emails or contact from you regarding this renewal. It seems we did not receive a refund request from you before now. That said, we have located your WinZip Standard Suite subscription renewal (active since 2022) and have processed a refund for the most recent charge of $31.75. The subscription has also been deactivated, so there will be no future charges. You will receive an email to confirm this.

    We always appreciate honest and constructive feedback, as it helps us improve our service and ensure transparency for all customers.

    There is no way to get a live person at Cleverbridge. They just give you the run around cause they don't really want to talk to anyone. ****. I would give a zero but not there.

    Why are they an A+ BBB? This is a scam. I just got a renewal notice after working hard a year ago and thinking I had cancelled and ended all payment. Luckily, ****** sent and alert, I called ****** customer service and they cancelled it immediately. 1. Please explain their rating 2. If so many people have the same issues for years, obviously something is wrong.

    My subscription isn't due until 2/1/2025 but Cleverbridge charged my checking account on 1/2/2025. I neither cancelled nor agreed to continue their service but whichever I choose, they should not charge a month ahead. This tells me they are desperate for customers. I have the plus and have disliked the changes since I got it, Last year the billing took place when due, 2/1/2024.. The year before I was given two free months and subscription was good until April 2024. Why did they not honor that? I did send them an e-mail informing them of this but it was obviously ignored since they complained their costs had gone up. Last year reference wasXXXXX8500. This early reference is XXXXX9773. I am not liking their billing practices or deception.

    Got a free trial for CCleaner for my pc and in trying to stop the free trial. I see that you have to go through Cleverbridge to cancel this free subscription or to stop any automatic renewals. I never received any email from them or CCleaner confirming my free trial so there is no way to stop the free trial using their subscription management page because you have to "use the confirmation email address you used to purchase CCleaner" and then "enter the 9 digit "reference number found in your confirmation email" to stop the free trial. So how do I stop the free trial if I never got a confirmation email from them in any of my 3 email addresses?! Seems like a scam! Where's the supposed new U.S. legislation requiring all companies to provide a simple click to stop a free trial or renewing subscription??
