1 starBuyer Beware! You'll end up in debt, without a job, and with a mediocre education. The individuals at Coding Temple DO NOT care about you or your career. They care about obfuscating, gaslighting, and keeping their jobs. You can learn it ALL on REMOVEDfor free. Don't fall for it. Those of us who fell for the "money-back guarantee" scam are screwed. The lender that works with Coding Temple is predatory and violates consumer laws. I'm still waiting for both the career coach and the career support I was supposed to get. I'm also waiting for Coding Temple to explain how their contract regarding the money-back guarantee differs from that of the lender. Basically, once our 14-week course ended, it was crickets from Coding Temple. I wish I had looked at the BBB because that would have given me pause. The negative reviews and comments only appeared after my negative experience. Consider yourself warned.Review fromCrystal H

1 starI was in their cybersecurity bootcamp and took out a loan from REMOVEDfor over $12,000. The program was thrown together as we went along, and they got rid of the REMOVEDcertification program all together, without refunding us. I kept trying to withdraw and they would t let me, so I stopped participating. I reported them to the REMOVED- and the investigator told me to contact the loan company and get documentation from them. Come to find out- Coding temple used my loan to pay Ascent Funding over $5800 in fees to them and only received around $6600 for my actual tuition. These fees were not made aware to me. Ascent Funding is in violation of the Truth in Lending Act- none of these fees were made aware to me- and I am stuck paying interest on the entire loan, even though the actual tuition was way less than 13k. Anyone that took out a loan to attend their programs, ask Coding Temple how much money they received on your behalf. REMOVEDfunding keeps 47% of the loan for themselves and has the audacity to charge interest on hidden fees. This is a deceptive and unfair business practice. Beware! Don't attend this bootcamp. I'm now enrolled in an accredited school and much happier.Review fromAshley A

1 starI am a graduate of the program, and like many others, I was told following their advice would get us a job. Turns out not to be true and they do not honor their refund policy. There are many of use that feel scammed because not only is the content nothing close to being enough to get a job, they are very difficult to get a hold of, the career counselors just tell you to REMOVEDeverything and after a while they boot you out of the course you paid for and you are supposed to have access to it permanently.Review fromLei R

1 starScam. We were promised we would learn a bunch of different coding languages and frameworks, and all we learned was very basic python and some HTML (which I already knew). They charge an unbelievable amount of money for the course. One of my instructors forgot to turn off his Zoom mic while he took a hit from his bong, and another told us that he used to use a fake Amazon page to get money from people. We were also taught how to make that kind of fake Amazon page. We were promised job help and we got zero of it. I reached out on Slack to get help because everyone in my cohort was struggling to find a job after getting our certificates, and I never got responses. I applied to over 100 (yes) jobs and never passed any technical interviews because they asked me questions I never learned through Coding Temple. One of our instructors played favorites. He was a white REMOVED, and he happened to select the one white REMOVEDin our cohort as the favorite (shocking, I know). He gave the guy special attention, private lessons in other coding languages, and he even offered the guy a job after the classes were over. This instructor also made fun of one of the women in our cohort behind her back, while she was out sick one day. Truly disgusting and unprofessional behavior. The only good part was one of the instructors (not the REMOVED) seemed genuinely interested in teaching, and treated us all with respect regardless of our backgrounds/lives/identities. Over 20k in debt for this scam, and their contract is so well-worded that their "refund policy" is genuinely impossible to follow up on.
