I enrolled in Coding Temple inc. expecting a professional educational environment and mentored "real-world experience" to prepare me for a career in tech. I paid 12,460$ in full, largely due to their "Job Placement Guarantee." However, the program has proven to be an exploitative environment that uses students as unpaid labor for commercial stakeholders. For the past 3 and a half weeks, I have been required to work 12-hour days and attend over 8 hours of mandatory meetings per week. Instead of receiving mentorship or guided learning, I am being forced to build a complex "super application" for a third-party stakeholder in the oil and gas industry. Because the majority of my assigned team has quit due to these conditions, the bootcamp has expected me to carry the entire development load of a commercial-grade tracking app aloneall while remaining unpaid. When I raised concerns about the unprofessional handling of the project and the unsustainable hours, I was reminded that completing this "experience" is a requirement to maintain my eligibility for the tuition refund guarantee. This feels less like an internship and more like a predatory arrangement where students are coerced into providing free professional services for the bootcamps corporate partners under the threat of losing their money.Prospective students should be aware that you may not be "learning" so much as you are being used as a free developer for the bootcamp's own business interests. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of oversight, the unprofessional management, and the unethical labor practices of this organization.Initial Complaint

I had a recruiter reach out to me after I showed a little interest in the program. I explained my work schedule, and he told me it would be no problem multiple times. Once I signed my contract, I was informed I was required to attend these workshops in order to graduate and get all the benefits. I wasnt able to attend any of them due to my work schedule and ultimately just had to drop out even though I was assured and promised it would be no problem. Now I have this huge loan because I was completely misled about the situation and still have the messages to prove it. And its just not me, I have spoken with a lot of people, and they feel the same way. I reached out to Coding Temple, and they told me there wasnt anything they were doing to do about it.Initial Complaint

I feel mislead by this educational institution. I had very specific needs and schedule. I was told that they had the classes available to my schedule, there was support available when I needed it, and there was guaranteed job placement. I was promised after I graduate, I would get the opportunity to work on a real-life project for a real employer. There were very limited classes available to me, and the classes were not actual educational classes. They just showed you vaguely how to do the project. They didnt actually teach classes based on their curriculum. All of their career classes, specialty classes and other necessary classes for me to attend were not available to my schedule. After 3 months they took away ALL classes on my schedule. I self-guided myself through their entire curriculum.Their student success managers were hardly available. When I did get an opportunity to speak with one, they could not assist me with my projects or answer my questions. When I enrolled in the REMOVEDclasses, they eliminated classes. Another self-guided course I didnt sign up for. When I enrolled in the tech residency, there was no employer, and a fictional project was available for a fake employer who was some third party to coding temple who exhibited zero confidence in the process. My career coach started with the company the same week I entered career services and had zero cybersecurity background to support me as I searched for a cybersecurity role. By the end of the course, I realized I had received no real-life hands-on experience to get a job and now I had to grind in my free time to get the experience I need to get a job. They are an absolute scam of a company.Initial Complaint

I paid for a coding course here specifically for live classes. They took those down after my chance to withdraw and get my money back. The course changed many times, and they are making it hard to get a refund when the product I paid for was taken from me.Initial Complaint

I was reached to by a recruiter promising me all this stuff and a guarantee for a job and how this company has all kinds of connections with all these big corporations(REMOVED, REMOVED, etc.) and told me getting a job would be easy. I had to meet certain stipulations and attend workshops to graduate. I explained how my schedule was to my recruiter before signing up, double and triple checking to make sure that I would still be able to attend all these required meetings, and he told me I would be fine. I had to stop doing the classes because I wasnt able to attend the workshops to even qualify to get my certificate. They change up the schedule and instructors and platforms every other week and there is no consistency like I was promised as well. I saved all these texts from the recruiter who reached out to me in the beginning. After not being able to attend these due to my work schedule, I now am in debt pretty bad due to this. And its just not me, students are all coming out on REMOVEDabout the same situations! Even those who completed the course cant get the help they were promised going into it and they just keep making promises that dont get fulfilled. It affected my mental health with me trying to wake up way before my work schedule and things didnt make sense still. I would reach out and they tell me to join office hours at a certain time but I was never able to due to my work schedule. Which they knew and told me I would be perfectly fine. Just hoping and praying that there can be something done with this scam pretty much. Hopefully other people speak up about it like me. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to escalate this issue. They seem to just blow me off.Initial Complaint

Coding Temple222 REMOVED; 60654-365207/25/2025Hello! ? The Coding Temple has reneged on the official agreement form. Online, the, 07/25/2025, the, REMOVEDoffered the identical at the rate of $5,000.00. The agreement would have left sum funds in my pocket for immediate expenditures, to my knowledge. I do not like the dialogue and rapport of email between me, myself and representative REMOVEDof Coding Temple. Appears unprofessional and vague. I did not like the manner in the reduction of the loan after the approved agreement and the unresponsive email response(s) of the CodingTemple.comIn addition, complaint: The classroom response(s) of professors was misspelled and incorrect in connection in reason and logic of email to and fro. This, a(n) code school must be accurate and acute in response or the coding will indicate a(n) error and or incorrect data. I enrolled in Coding Temple as a non-native English speaker. Before enrollment, I was never informed that instructors would speak in fast-paced English with strong accents. This made it impossible for me to follow or benefit from the course. I asked to cancel, but Coding Temple refused to refund my tuition or release me from the Climb Credit loan. The program was inaccessible due to a language barrier they failed to disclose. I have submitted a formal loan dispute to REMOVEDand filed a complaint with the REMOVED. I am now asking Coding Temple to cancel my tuition and issue a refund to Climb Credit.Initial Complaint

In response to my enrollment in software engineering classes, I encountered a situation where my school. , a company, was unable to reimburse me due to an unforeseen health issue. Despite providing them with medical documentation and records, I was unable to secure a refund. After persistent communication with one of their staff members for over a month, I was informed that she had transferred to another department and was no longer available to assist me. This situation has left me uncertain about how to proceed and who to contact for further REMOVEDtuition fee amounted to $12,500, and I am seeking a resolution to this matter. I am concerned about the possibility of a scam involving the company and their lack of timely responses to my inquiries.I have attached screenshots of our communication for your reference. I would appreciate your guidance in navigating this situation and identifying appropriate channels for seeking help.
