    Basically a scam. I booked round trip flight for my wife and I for a wedding. Everything was fine. Upon trying to return they told me that my ticket did not exist and I would need to spend an additional $120 for a ticket. It was 5:00 AM in an airport where I was trying to return home. I was not in a position to argue. They charged me twice for a single ticket. I've flown them before, will never do so again.

    Purchased round trip tickets and when it came time check in was unable to so called and was told that there was pending balance of $150 . I asked why if I have a receipt and even paid for extra baggage. ******* said because at that time more people logged in at the same time and purchased the same ticket supposedly. I state how is that my fault when I even paid extra to secure a specific seat. I asked for a supervisor and he said best I could do is $110 I said this sounds like a scam . He said well you either pay or cancel the flights. He also said I could take car of it at the airport. He also said the other employe was new and didn't know what he was saying . Terrible company and very misleading to ask for more money and block you from checking in . Will need fly with them again. Also the call dropped and he called me back waiting for payment then I said this is all fishy and he said you can take care of it at the airport and your taking that risk and hung up. How is this a legitamate airline?

    Worst service ever. Bought tickets to travel to ******, after getting 12 calls from a spam risk number I decided to answer. It was someone from Volaris telling me I had to purchase my seats with them. I did not know if it was true so I decided to call Volaris my self. After finally talking to someone a day later, the lady from Volaris stated first no one should of called me for that. On the recorded line that they state they have, the lady told me I didnt have to buy seats unless I wanted to sit together with my family. After asking and telling her that what I understood is that the airline was gonna assign seats if I didnt want to purchase specific seats, then she went about saying, no if you dont purchase a seat we cant guarantee you would fly. And I would not be able to find out till the day of. This airline is just trying to see how to get money and tell you its because of there policys they have to. You get no help at all. And you end up paying for all this things when it is not even certain you will get them.

    I wanted to put this here as a warning for others. I bought a ticket from ******* to ********** on Volaris and paid an extra $20 for the flexible fare add-on. The add-on is supposed to allow changes without penalty, other than paying the difference in fare. As the date approached, I decided to move up the date a few days so I would have more time in ******. A search for flights on their website showed a cheaper than I had paid initially, so I assumed it would be free to change the date. Instead, the airline wanted to charge me an additional $80 to change the ticket. I contacted them and showed them **** screen shots on WhatsApp the current price and the inflated price to change the old ticket. I was repeatedly told with no additional explanation."We remind you that our rates are dynamic and change from minute to minute."In short, the flexible fare add-on is a total scam. Don't pay it. They just make up whatever price they want as the "new price" even if you can see the current price displayed on their website.

    THIS IS A TOTAL FRAUD. I follow all your requirements to find out that volaris HIDES tickets to annual pass holders (APH). APH site show no flights available from ******* to ******* however volaris had available tickets to volaris.com a regular price. In addition once in the flight I counted 11 empty sits. Volaris takes advantage of people. I flew Friday 1/26/24 at 10:27 flight #UG853A Volaris Annual Pass includes all our domestic and international routes. Seats are based on availability.INVEX credit card benefits do not apply to flights booked with Annual Pass.For domestic destinations you can book your flight from 24 hours before departure.For international destinations you can book your flight from 3 days before departure.The earlier in the day you search for your next flight, the more likely you are to find available seats.Explore our wide variety of destinations! Being flexible and searching for flights for different routes will make it easier to find availability.You can use the Volaris Annual Pass to book flights on any date of the year.     Every time Volaris Airlines has a special on their flights they have technical difficulties or at least that is what they claim. The flight schedules from mobile app and desktop are different. Ive been trying to book a flight for almost 48 hours because of a 50% off special they have for VIP members and it doesnt allow me to proceed to checkout. Every time I refresh my screen the flight price increases. You cant get anyone on their customer service line. Their chat is no help either.

    Volaris overbooks its flights! They put our family with 2 small children through stress and incredible hassle by telling us they had no more seats after we showed up (on time) at the Mexico City airport to check in (tickets we had purchased a month prior). Note, that us along with many other passengers weren’t allowed to check in online prior to the flight and we received no heads up about the overbooking until after we stood in the check in line for hours. Not only did we waste half a day at the airport but lost another full day because of Volaris putting us on another flight next day. They put us up at a terrible hotel we didn’t want to stay (that they have an “agreement” with), then forced us to wait for the shuttle to take us to the hotel and when we reached there, we had to go and wait for 2 hours to get the room. All this hassle because Volaris oversold their own tickets. Volaris giving us vouchers for a sub-standard hotel is expected to be an adequate compensation for their policy of overbooking their flights but we are two working adults who lost a full day of work, our children missed school and not to mention the incredible exhaustion and stress that they put us and our two small children through just so they can make more money. It’s clear this company doesn’t care about its customers and prefers to oversell their seat tickets to maximize their revenue. They did not have the right to forcefully change our travel plans and get away with it. We are never flying this airline again and will tell everyone in our network about their terrible policies.

    If I could give this zero stars, I would. We knew there were very poor reviews of this airline, but since we needed to get to ******** and couldn't find any other flights, we decided to just try it. Bought tickets several months in advance (it was to view the solar eclipse in April so we knew flights were going to get crazy)... and now within a few 3 of our trip they changed the dates to depart TWO WHOLE DAYS and return TWO WHOLE DAYS before our originally purchased flight. We didn't receive a single notification about it - found out from friends that their travel had changed without notice as well which caused us to go check ours and discover the change. The eclipse won't even happen until after the new return flight date - not to mention not having a hotel reservation that we can't change, not being able to easily bail on work 2 whole days earlier, et, etc. The Volaris website wouldn't let us cancel or do anything about it (and no other flights now seem to exist on the original dates we had). Called an 860 number we found online and could at least talk to a human... but all he could do is have us pay a $255 cancellation fee (per ticket!) for them to then refund us the original ticket price ($900 per ticket - and this was just to get from TJ to ********). They say it'll take 2-3wks for the refund to come through... given what other folks are saying about waiting on refunds, I'm not even confident that will happen, gah.So. No matter how much you need to get somewhere in ****** and are tempted to fly this airline, seriously listen to all the negative reviews - DO NOT waste your time and money. It is so not worth the hassle!

    Your so called agent ************************* has demonstrated a total lack of professionalism in his interaction with my issue. I find it unbelievable ****************** would think it appropriate to close my file without any resolution towards my grievances. I urgently need to escalate this issue with management as soon as possible.I was quoted $523.43 total for choosing my seats, a checked bag and the ticket for each person. I am looking at my credit card transactions and I was charged twice one charge was $255.26 and the other charge was $449.96 totaling $705.22 This is a huge $181.79 difference. I please need your help being refunded.I even wrote I am willing to take a voucher to use with Volaris for my upcoming flight to *******.****************** did not have the minimum amount of decency to even address my concern nor my proposed solution that sought to meet us both in the middle.In both my messages to ****************** his response was solely based on saying no and not addressing the facts I provided him. He has continued to demonstrate embarrassing unprofessionalism and I can no longer work with him.Volaris has been my go to airline but after this lack of customer service I feel as though I am simply an insignificant number. This has never been my experience in the past with Volaris.I truly hope management can step in and remedy this urgent matter.

    Scammers! Don't know why they even have a customer service if they don't help the customer at all! ********************** is the worst airline The Worst they try and just steal peoples money they have no customer service it's like talking to a robot had a flight that departed on Thursday 6am to ******* was there at 5:15 and they said the flight was closed like really and hr early we could of made that walk to the gate in less then an hr but told us to go back until 6am to change our flight So at 6 we go back they have no flights until Saturday and we had to pay more and and I said we'll Saturday we had an event why we were going its to late so they tell us in the window we have 30 days to file a claim for our reimbursement and she gives us a QR code to scan and we did that but then we found out that the event is in the pm we had time to make it so we called see what else was an option to change the flight instead well now they say we can't change our flight nor get reimbursed because we missed our flight! No im sure they over booked like always that's why they didn't let us pass in the first place specially with thay hurricane that just passed they are all booked as the lady at the window told us! So why even tell us we can get full reimbursement at the window so we dont book another flight and they keep our money then been calling all morning to speak to a supervisor they say your being transferred and we are on hold for 30min and then they just click over and over! And can never communicate thru to anyone this is the second time they have done this to us they are HORRIBLE!
