    I wanted to share horrible my experience with volaris. We were not allowed to board our flight from ************ to *********** on 4th December 2022. Our flight was scheduled to leave at 5:12pm from *** and arrive at 11:02pm at ******* was extremely important for us to get to ***************** since I had a presentation at work on Monday December 5th and my co-passenger had a fallen down the stairs and had a very painful/ swollen ankle and needed to get back to the states to get medical attention. I tried to do an online checkin at 8am on 4th December from my l flight and was unable to get a boarding pass. So I called the airline to ask about it and they confirmed our seat numbers and asked us to get our boarding pass at the airport counter. They even put in a wheelchair request for my co-passenger. We left Jaco and travel for 90 mins to reach the *** airport. When we got to the airport, we were denied boarding. We were told that the plane makes a stop in ********* and if they allowed us the plane, the aircraft will be overloaded and will not be able to take off. This came as a shock to us since we had called and confirmed before coming to the airport. Stranded in a foreign country with an urgency to get back to ***********, we were forced to take a ************ - ****** City- ***********-*** itinerary. Our 7 hour ***-*** itinerary was snatched away from us and instead were sent on a 16 hour itinerary with no other compensation. This was my first time flying Volaris and I am never doing this again. On my experience you have been the worst airline of my life. We arrived in LA with my unable to get to work in time and my co-passenger in extreme pain.

    Worst customer service, they will hang up while asking to be transferred to a supervisor. And will not answer (respond) to ang emails regarding your problem. Doesn't matter if I just lost ****** dlls .

    It is a horrible airline that offers the Vclub, a 12 month membership which offers discounts for being a loyal customer. However, once you pay for the membership they wouldnt acknowledge that its paid for and once you login to your account it reflects thats its expired. We have submitted multiple tickets and have called multiple times (at least 10) and they keep saying the same thing that there is nothing they can do about it but email the vclub directly. Their fine print says that you can cancel membership but without refund. I wish there is something we can do about this airline, somehow they should be held accountable for stealing from their customers.

    Volaris is the worst airline I have used.They claim to be the best price but they nickel and dime you for everything, is almost a scam.I receive multiple marketing emails from them, one of the benefits is that you can change your flight as long as you do it 4 hours or more in advance, well, they didn't mention that there will be a fee and this fee is actually more expensive than the ticket itself. I paid $434 for my ticket and when I changed the date they charged me and additional $489.Wanted to charge and additional $100 because I didn't want to use the computer for the check in.Many other ways they try to get you.The airplane itself was the most basic thing I have ever seen, seemed like a school bus with wings. No screens for a 5 hour flight and all snacks or drinks had a cost.Horrible experience borderline scam, will NEVER flight with Volaris again.

    Every aspect of this airline is revolting, from the treatment of Volaris employees towards passengers to the airplane conditions; EVERY single step of the way in my reservation was stressful, infuriating and unfair. If there was a way to completely shut down an airline and prohibit their existence, I would not think twice about doing so to Volaris. They are the absolute worst airline and type people to work with. I know that I sound like a troll and though I continue to run that risk, I had to share my experience in hopes that it helps someone else NOT make any reservations with this airline. The experience I had I do not wish on anyone, not even my worst enemy; except for the Volaris CEO, FOUNDERS, STAKEHOLDERS, EMPLOYEES and anyone that has anything to do with the backwards horrible company. Giving them a 1 star indicates that they did something right but do not be fooled. Nothing was done right and the deserve 0 stars. Honestly, this is quite sad that a Mexican airline would treat its people the way that this airline does. NEVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE WILL I BOOK A FLIGHT WITH THIS COMPANY and for the sake of humanity the should seize to exist.

    I traveled to ***********, ****** from ************, ********** on October 24, 2022. I had a 10+ layover in ******, ******. I was supposed to carry-on my luggage and purchased an additional carry-on bag. However, when I checked into the gate I was informed that the flight was very full and was asked if I wouldnt mind checking it for free. Worst mistake I have ever made. The Volaris staff told me I would have to pick it up in ****** and then put it to be transferred to ***********. When I arrived in ****** I was informed by Volaris staff that my bag never arrived and was lost. I saw two Volaris staff members and asked them to fill out a report, but they said I would need to do this in my final destination. I needed a lot of things in that bag and had a very miserable and freezing night in the airport without my laptop or phone charger as a result. When I arrived in *********** Volaris said it was still lost. I spent nearly an hour waiting for them to start to fill out a report. They would NOT let me keep a copy, so I insisted I would need to take a photo on my phone. The Volaris staff said they would email me when the luggage was found and I could come to the airport and pick it up (decent airlines always deliver...). They were very unfriendly, and somehow acted like it was my fault. Well, I never got an email. I emailed multiple times, submitted a claim online and had the hotel call the Volaris Mexican customer service number. I arrived at the work conference without ANYTHING and had to miss the first full day of the work conference while I shopped for new clothes in a foreign country. Since then, I have emailed and called several more times. I have tried communicating via whatsapp and ******** messenger and have not received ANY sort of correspondence from Volaris. Bags are still missing and I can't fill out an insurance claim since they refuse to correspond with me to finish the report. I lost $1000+ worth of work and personal items.

    Both, departure and arrival flights changed and send no notification to travelers. New flights did not support original itinerary. Incurred in additional transportation and lodging costs. First and last time using Volaris.

    The airline has the worst service ever. I have *** pre-check, and after did the check-in online, I noticed that my boarding pass did not have the *** pre-check ***** I told the front desk about it while I was dropping off my checked luggage and they told me that my *** number did appear on their system and they even printed a boarding pass with *** written on it. When I arrived to the revision point I was told by the the officer that my boarding pass did not had the pre check and that Volaris had not been. Issuing pre-checks for a while and did not know the reason.

    This company is a scam. They dont give you options to reschedule your trip other than you have to pay 3 times the current price for a flight. They say they dont have the option to hold your ticket until you have a secure date. You have to immediately give them another date and pay 3 times the price. Even if you reschedule your trip, they dont give you the option to add insurance in case you need to change your ticket. ????????

    -1 rating if i could . DONT FLY use any other airline. They scam you out of your money making you pay double everything even tho you already paid when booking, they say system error and laugh at you because they cant explain why ? So we had to pay double, and their staff is rude and were calling us racial slurs and wouldnt stop touching me when presenting my tickets/passport after i told them not to touch me she snatched my passport from me scratching me with her nails on purpose. No one in customer service is trying to figure out why this happened or a solution.m they laugh and walk away or hang up on me, they took so long to argue about the error and we had to pay because we waiting for so long we only had 7 minutes before we missed are flight and was forced to pay, i have the full story if needed . DO NOT FLY, they will yell racial slurs, humiliate you, and laugh in your face if you need help, as well as steal your items and double charge you most likely pocketing the money for the counter girls. *** spent 12 hours on the phone and at the customer service desks and nothing just laughed at. Please do not fly, this company should be shut down or bought out by decent people. Discrimination, racial slurs, race schism, no Covid protocols, flight attendant admitted they do not clean between flights they even had donuts orange juice spilled over multiple seats never cleaned until we got there and asked them to clean it they rolled their eyes and partially cleaned. The staff doesnt wear mask but they enforce it for the passengers but only non POC passengers. I even asked one of the leads at the gate why he wasnt wearing a mask and he laughs and walks away but tells me to put mine on or I cant get on the plane. Please have the *** and the *** look into this company I also see there are many other complaints and never a solution.
