***************************************************. So here is a question. Why don't they have an emergency generator for power outages? The power went out. People were still hooked up. Many with blood still in the bowl. There was no communication on what was going on. 911 had to be called because a woman got sick while sitting there hooked up. Puking and screaming. Probably from low blood sugar due to no return.They should have a generator to at least do returns on the people that need them. Instead, we get treated to 0 communication, flashing overhead lights, a bag of goldfish, water and a 2 month deferral. Irresponsible handling all around. Sending people out with blood loss and and inability to donate and get paid for 2 months because you can't provide a generator to responsibly handle an emergency and get fluids back to people. 0 communication. Seriously. Donors literally left in the dark...except for the strobe lighted ceiling.Initial Complaint

I was told someone donating under my name and some of my ssn and was deferred and was told Id get a call. No call ever came I call and ****** lied so I called her out she said I had a bad attitude and hung up. I went to bio life and got ****** again for the same lies. Center told me I am on my last warning and now I am permanently banned. The company tells me that i was already given 2 warnings and on 8-18-2024 I was told that the last time I was there i was rude to an employee and now i am permanently banned. Whenever i ask what i did or said to be rude there is no answer. One time i came to center and was called in the office and told something i said was inappropriate but there is never a quote of what i said in their report. I talk freely about issues and sometimes i joke about stuff and i feel someone was offended by something i said but i never was rude to anyone. I was asked by an employee to not talk about certain things so i feel that the center is showing passive aggressive behavior.Initial Complaint

I have been donating plasma since May of this year 2024, every time i have tired using the bathroom (different times and days) the stall doors are locked but it never seams that anyone is in there. I usually go to the center at least 2 times a week. So the odds of it always being in use are slim to none. This past Sunday though 8/18/24 I signed in, got checked out and went to the bathroom. Again stalls are locked, didn't see feet or any sign that anyone is even in there. I got back in line waited an hour to get a chair. I again attempted to go to the bathroom and still the same situation. I even said "hey i really need to use the restroom." No response. I complained to the lady infront and what I have noticed in the past months. I even complained to the techs my situation but by then it was 2 hours of holding it in!! By the time i was done i had to walk slowly to try to use the bathroom AGAIN same situation. I almost wet myself because if this. I felt degraded and humiliated, i was in pain for 3 days. No one helped me or even tried to figure out what is going on in the womans bathroom. I even retured today 8/20 and still the stalls are locked and no one is in there!! Filed a complaint with the company about not having enough employees available and long wait times for appointment . Then next visit they tell me I have syphilis and made me go crazy getting tested but results came back negative every time . I believe this was a way for them to avoid paying me the rest of what they advertised because of my complaint .Initial Complaint

Ive been to BioLife 3 times-The goldenrod ******* ******* locations 2 times, my first time I was there 4+ hours Second time almost 3 hours The I went to the ******************************************* location today. I'm in ******************* and I had a 12:15 p.m. appointment and it's 1:20 p.m. now and I've been waiting in line for over an hour plus there's been so many other complaints from other donors they keep on saying that they're shorts staff why is that? Tuesdays are a busy day so why don't we BioLife have enough people working? If I would have been late for my appointment then I would have had to leave but I've been standing here for over an hour and a half trying to donate it's not fair that we have to wait this long just to donate! They have a ***** program, it's very simple. You refer a ***** and get $200. They have advertised it online, in the center and social media. My *************************** started going and used me as a referral and turned in the card with the $200 advertisement on it. He's donated about 10 times. I've only been paid $100. I'm owed $100. I can never get anyone to answer the phone. I leave messages on the ** system and never get return calls. Its false advertising. It's a scam I want the other $100 I was promised.
