On 2/29/24 my personal belongings were picked up from 430 ********** ********, ** and were supposed to deliver same day to ****************************************************************. The first issue started when the mover came later than original told by dispatch. The movers arrived at my house at 5:30-6:00 pm. The began to tell me that I exceeded my amount of goods and the quote was going to be $5K upon delivery which exceeded my delivery quote by $4K. (see attachments). The movers began to tell me my initial quote was wrong and I removed items from the mover because they were sold (i.e., 4pc. dinning room table, 4pc. patio set) of left behind (patio furniture, fireplace set, etc.). I proceeded to tell the movers (onsite) I could not afford there price. The mover offered me an option to pay him $1000 under the table and he would change the pricing and I would pay what ******* quoted. I called Packman moving company and proceeded to tell them that my price has gone up $5K and I did not have the money. They said I had to what until the bill of lading as sent to them and they could not help me.The movers called there boss ****** who began to tell me that he was not going to deliver my furniture unless I had his money. I proceeded to tell him that I had all the funds quoted by ****** with ******* movers. He told me that was not his problem and he did not like me or my attitude and that I acted very snobby. I told him if that was the true case we would not be talking and this is about me getting my furniture. He then said the only thing he could do for me was to give him $3K and when I get paid the following Friday his team would bring my furniture. I told him I needed my cloths for work and I would be sleeping on the floor, so they brought me my mattress. The following Friday came and no furniture not even a phone from the movers or moving company. When they did show up all my things were damaged or missing. There was no explanation of follow-up call concerning my items from the movers.Initial Complaint

On 5/8/23, Handle ********* moved the furniture out of our condo in *******, **. and moved it into their storage. On 9/5/23, we had it delivered to our house in ********* *******. When it was delivered, our pillow top queen ******** was missing and they tried to give us an old very used king ******** that wasn't ours. After calling the driver called their warehouse, they said they would deliver our ******** the following week. They never delivered it. The ******** was almost brand new. Thet also damaged a coffee table and some artwork and broke the leg clean off an end table. We filed a claim but the amount they wanted to give us was $60 for everything. We were only given 1 option for the insurance, but they assured us we wouldn't need it. We would not accept only $60 for these losses. We were told to call back to renegotiate the amount but were given the run around. Whenever I call, they say I need to speak to a manager who will give me a call back. They never call. I'm not asking for all my money back, I just want a fair value for my losses.Initial Complaint

Greetings, I am moving from ****** ** to *************. It was agreed upon that after paying approximately **** in a deposit that I would only have to pay **** at pick up and delivery. The pick up date was originally the 12th then pushed back to between 10am and 1pm the 13th. Then I was called in the 13th and advised it need to be pushed back to the 14th. I advised them that could not happen because had had to be out of my current house and in my new on the 15th. They made arrangements and they arrived at approximately 530pm. Upon their arrival they advised my that I had more property than expected which was fine and I had to pay more money that originally agreed upon. Once all was loaded I was conned into giving the loaders 700 dollars cash and $500 cash to the company and was told I could pay the remaining $4318 at delivery and that it would be delivered on the 15th. On last night I was told I needed to pay almost 5k to get my property delivered I told customer service who was exceptionally rude that I was told by the lead loader that I only had to pay **** at delivery. Long story short I hav been financially drained by this company and they will not tell me where my property is or when it will be delivered. Im in my new home in a new state with nothing! Please help.Initial Complaint

I hired Handle ********* Moving ** on 11/07/2023 to transport my belongings from ************ to *********. I was quoted $1200 for the move and promised a crew of at least two movers to load the truck. A box truck showed up on Nov. 7th with only ************* and with the excuse of the other mover being sick. I had all my belongings on the main floor, in the garage, per the agreement. I had the most important items in the driveway to be loaded first (my 3 brand new ********* chairs). As I was signing the papers, the driver loaded all of my tubs first after I told him I wanted the chairs loaded first. When I was done signing them he came in and told me I was at my load limit (out of room). I told him my chairs werent loaded. He called his manager (***) and the manager told me I had to pay for more space. I explained to him my chairs were the first things I asked to be loaded. He didnt care. I told the driver to take off some tubs to make room for the chairs but he told me he couldnt once they were tagged. *** told me the only thing I could do was to pay an extra $500 to get the 3 chairs on the truck. I had to pay the extra $500 because I couldnt leave the chairs. Now instead of $1200 Im at $1700. The company wanted half of the total payment due and wouldnt take credit card even though the documents showed it to be acceptable payment so I had to go to the bank and pull a cash advance on my credit card. I paid the driver $850 in cash per his manager. I had the driver sign the paperwork. After the truck left it took them 21 days to get it to Vegas. They was supposed to call 24 to 48 hours before delivery. I received the call 19 hours before delivery and had to scramble to get to Vegas. When they arrived to deliver my belongings they wanted $900.74. Another $550 on top of the $1700. Almost doubling the bill. After the delivery a lot of my belongings were damaged and missing. They went thru my tubs leaving them a mess and I didnt receive all of the tubs, 12 shortInitial Complaint

We have paid our contract with Allegiance, who we hired. We were lied to and told our stuff was in ***********, but then were told its actually in *******, **Initial Complaint

This company was subcontracted by ** Interstate and Rail for my August 31st move from ********* to ********* ******. They did not show up on the original scheduled date and moved the pick up date to 9/6/2023. I then had to fly back from ********* to deal with the movers. Was told the charge would be $3600 instead of the $2500 I was told by ** Interstate and Rail. Was not given any paperwork at pick up, company refused to give out their name. I called both companies weekly for 3 months before I was able to get this resolved. *** the supervisor is rude and speaks down to you or over you. It took me being on the phone with the police to get them to send me paperwork and get the amount to reflect correctly. 3 months of sleeping on an air mattress and not having my washer or dryer or refrigerator. Only the clothing and furniture that would fit in my SUV with my husband Son and 4 dogs. The company is awful and rude. They also state that the amount you have put for a deposit doesn't count towards the total amount paid. Request you cash app them and are just the rudest people to deal with.Initial Complaint

On September 12, 2023, I made a call to Pro-Movers, which is an entity of Handled ********* movers. I spoke with ******* at Pro Movers, and I talked to Vander at Handled *********. Both businesses are unprofessional and just booking jobs for money. My move date took place on October 21 from Georgia to *******, and I have not received my items as of yet on October 31. The problem is that the driver said he assumed I did not need my things because the drop-off point was a storage unit, so he was not *******. Then the story changes, and neither company knows the driver nor where the delivery is on the route to be dropped off. After calling ******* today, she said she is only in the sales department. I asked to speak with a manager, and ******* stated the only manager available is in operations. Still, the operations department does not have a phone number or email address to be contacted. I asked her for a manager in her department, and she stated that she is the only one who runs her department, and it is a one-person office for sales. After speaking with ******, he acted as if he did not know anything about ******************* only to find out from the driver that they were the same company and operating under different names. Both companies are shady, and they are not doing best practices for the customers they serve, especially when dealing with persons of color. I am disappointed that I have not had access to my things, and they are nonchalant and non-communicative about where my things are.Initial Complaint

Will attach the demand letter I am sending the company. Per the Bill of Lading that I signed on October 7, 2023, I only owed $535.80. Handle with Care Moving and Transport, ***, then required me to pay $1786.20 to deliver my items. I am asking the *** to pay me the $752.40 extra that I was overcharged over the binding estimate I signed on August 28,2023.Initial Complaint

We didn't have any contract with Handlewith Care Moving and Transporation, LLC. Movers from Handle with Carecame to move my household items. They increased at least $1560 on top of a binding estimate of $3600 from another moving company called *US Interstate and Rail. I calculated the items and this company is just trying to ***** me. I paid the extra fees in hopes that one day I recieve my items. The items were loaded on September 30. I have yet to receive. I have paid the extra charges. They say they will deliver but will charge me $300 on delivery which I have to pay in cash or cashiers check. Who know where they are holding my items! My next steps are to file a complaint with the AG's office in ******. ************************************************************************* Maybe more people will do this. I will also be filing a complaint with the ******************************************** ************************************************************ Recommend more of us do the same. Maybe some lawyer will see this and get a class action suit going! I am in!Initial Complaint

I hired a brokerage company (********* Moving and Storage) who facilitated my move from ********* to **********. I recently entered into my career at 23 which required me to transport my goods to ********** - I entrusted these movers with everything I owned. The brokerage company hired Handle ********* Moving and Transportation LLC. First, they had promised that my goods would be picked up on June 20th but weren't actually picked up until June 28th. They were supposed to be delivered on July 6th but weren't actually delivered until July 29th. Every time I called the company for information on my goods they refused any info, such as who was in possession of my goods, where they were being stored, or the estimated new delivery date. (Additionally, I was not even informed that they would be stored anywhere - they were supposed to deliver everything right after picking it up.) In order to actually get anything delivered, I had to threaten them with filing a stolen goods police report. When they finally delivered my goods, half of my things were completely destroyed. My bookshelves were all in shambles, my cloth chair was stained with boot prints, some of the boxes had mysterious red liquid on the outside that had ruined all of my clothes and stuffed animals in the box. Additionally, it looked like my things had been stored somewhere outside because the bookshelves were covered in pine needles and mold. The worst offense however was that any of my boxes labeled with anything valuable (jewelry, collectable cards, DVDs, gaming systems, etc.) was all missing. I know it was stolen because my Xbox was logged into during the period it was supposed to be in the movers' possession. ******** sent me a notification alerting me of this. Another thing that was missing was my mattress, resulting in me sleeping on the floor for months. They also added many new charges in order to deliver; at one point they were on my road and held my things hostage until I paid an additional $400.
