      I purchased a special month rate online. Upon trying to redeem the purchase with the barcode presented in the email. The teller asked for my card to put on file. I didn’t want to out a card on file because it is too hard to remember to have it turned off before the next month because all I wanted was a month due to the hot weather. I called customer service and it took the lady 10 minutes to give me a vague answer of how they explain it. But no where does it state to put a card on file to redeem the purchase. Then they said no refunds for online orders so now I’m stuck because I don’t want to be charged because I won’t remember this and that is why they have these in place so you will forget and then they get back the difference. It is very misleading based off the conversation I had with the operator saying she understood how it could be.

      The business signed me up for a monthly membership charging me up to 50$ per month without my approval or knowledge. They say they I approved these charges because they have my email, phone number and address. They will not refund me for this and they have no proof nor can they provide me any proof thst inagrred to any reoccuring charges by them. They also cannot provide any proof they have cancelled this reoccuring charge or membership per my request.

      I paid $12 for a special car wash deal at Tidelwave in ***** ******** ****** ** on February *** 2024. I was explained to me that I could wash the car as many times as I wanted for 1 month. Today, I found out that Tidelwave charged me $23.97 on 3/25, $23.97 on 4/26, $23.97 on 5.25 for a membership. I called Tidelwave ************ and spoke to Ira and explained the situation. He said he would cancel the membership but could not refund any of the charges. I explained to Ira that I I did not sign any agreement for a membership. He said again that Tidelwave could not refund any of the charges.

      Attendant offered promo, unlimited washes, $9.95 for one month, no future commitment unless you decided to sign up for their monthly membership. Never signed anything, never filled out any paperwork. Next month money withdrawn from my checking account without my approval. Had to call corporate because there are no local phone numbers offered for the individual locations. Spoke to customer service rep and her manager. Explained I never signed up for a monthly membership. Both said they had a no refund policy and they would not refund my money. Told me I had a verbal agreement with the attendant. I replied I never made any agreement with attendant and wanted by money back. They were very unconcerned and reminded me about their no refund policy.

      ****-24 I was charged 49.97. I called customer service number and the lady basically told me I couldn’t get a refund because I didn’t cancel . I explained to her I initially got a car wash1 time and the lady said if I don’t like just cancel .* **** ****** ************* , and I forgot to cancel ppl make mistakes .. she then said I only have 2 options use the rest car wash for the rest of the month or just cancel.. I explained to her I donot want either I would like my money back .. ***** and other companies refund ppl who forgot about these auto pay subscription.. this is a scam .. I would like a refund . I have pictures as well .. I’ve done customer service for over 8 years .. she could refund if she wanted to and she is wrong .. it’s a good car wash but I don’t always have time to get a car wash I work .. so me having this come out of my account monthly is a loss doesn’t benefit me in any way.

      Went for a car wash at the Tidal Wave Auto Spa **** * *** **** ** ******* ** ******** ** ****. I paid for a $26 car wash. 3 days later I was charged for a $49.97 subscription I never signed up for.

      I reported the fraudulent charge to my bank. Upon further research I found a ****** thread where multiple people have gone through the same issue at different locations. It seems this isn’t a one off incident, but reoccurring. This business seems to be running an unethical, fraudulent, and unprofessional business. I would hate for this to continue happening to people. I think an investigation should happen here.

      On ***/24 I signed up for a one month car wash program for $10.71. Directions say I had to cancel within 7 days of renewal and I had to do it online. I did it online and never got a confirmation. I called customer service a few days after the 30 day time period and spoke with Ashley. She said because I had no confirmation I filled it out online, she would not refund my monthly charge of $49.97. She told me she would cancel my account immediately and I could use the car wash until then end of **** 2024. That was approximately two weeks ago and I still have not received any info re cancellation and have no way to get a refund or cancel since they refuse to do either. Please help. All I want is my $49.98 refunded to my credit card and my account cancelled please.

      I purchased a single car wash from Tidal Wave only to discover they enrolled me into a monthly contract with out my permission and said it was my responsibility to cancel it. I was not aware until 2 months pass and now after never using their see I am still denied a refund. I did not ask for anything other than a single one time wash.

      Subscribed to the tidal wave car wash - was told I could cancel at any time. Prior to the renewal I canceled. When I saw the charge appear on my credit card I called to explain that I cancelled, would not be going back due to damage received from the car wash and to refund the charge. I was told no. That it would be canceled at the end of the month and the charge would hold and then be canceled. The attendant that sold the membership told me it could be canceled at any time for any reason and their website clearly states that as well (picture attached). The customer service person 'Holly' she would not give me her last name and would not let me speak to a supervisor. Said she could pass the message on but it may take 3-5 days. She was rude and obviously did not provide mem with the customer service I deserved. I will continue to dispute the charge.
