      My husband is a club member and on 08.08.2025 while driving through the carwash we heard a noise towards prior to exiting. Upon leaving this day we did not stop and dry off the vehicle. The following day, 08.09.2925 my husband returned to the carwash (he is a frequent member) and after exiting the carwash did stop to dry off the vehicle. While drying off the vehicle he noticed a scratch on his driverside rear rim. He did not have time to wait and speak with the location as he needed to return home to our children. He returned on Mon (8.11) after work and spoke with the asst mgr who stated he would submit to corporate, only to be told 08.12 via text an apology stating because he left the issue wouldn't be resolved. He went up to to location after receiving this text, requesting the claim be reviewed. He was told by the asstmgr &mgr that while you can see the rim was not damaged prior to entering on Friday, their cameras don't capture rim/tires upon exit and can't assist. My husband then requested the claim to be forwarded to corporate, and we were basically told that it wouldn't be. After additional requests to send to corporate, the mgr instructed the asst manager to submit the claim to corporate but to state "that it's been closed". We have been customers for over 4 years and our household currently has 3 member subscriptions. We aren't attempting to get anything we aren't due here... The store confirmed via their camera there was no damage upon entering. I attempted to call the corporate office after today's conversation, however they are closed for the day I will attempt to reach corporate directly as well.

      I am filing this complaint regarding Tidal Wave Auto Spa concerning an unfair membership charge and poor customer service.

      I have been a loyal customer for nearly a year and have always paid my monthly membership fee on time. I emailed them on Wednesday 8/6 because my car had gotten scratched and I cannot use the wash until I can get the paint in and get it fixed. On 8/11, I called to cancel my membership because my car recently sustained a deep scratch down to bare metal. The body shop advised me not to wash my car until it is repaired, which will take some time as the paint color has to be ordered.

      I provided 4 days’ notice before my next billing date, believing this was reasonable since I had not used the service since that notice. However, the company still charged me for the full month. When I contacted corporate to request a refund, the representative not only refused but was dismissive and rude during our conversation. And stated their policy was 7 days. I was unaware of that but the main reason for cancelling was I can’t use the service.

      I had intended to restart my membership after my vehicle was repaired, but this experience has left me extremely dissatisfied. I am now requesting a full refund for the most recent charge of $49.97, as I gave notice before the billing date and did not use the service during the billed period.

      This situation reflects poor customer service and an unwillingness to work with loyal customers in good standing. I believe a fair resolution would be to refund the charged amount and address the behavior of the corporate representative I spoke with.

      My car was scratched by a mop bucket and mop that was not put away. I tried to alert the attendant. The scratches are down to the metal

      Absolutely unacceptable experience at the *******, ** location!
      After their carwash took paint off the passenger-side mirror of our 2017 *******, my husband reported it immediately on 7/15/2025. Instead of taking any responsibility, the employee accused him of lying, which is not only wrong, it’s insulting. We have video proof from that same morning, taken at our home, clearly showing the mirror was in perfect condition before entering their wash.
      Worse, when my husband called to follow up, he was spoken to with total disrespect. The employee told him, "You’re not going to take us to court over $40." Not only is that disgustingly arrogant, it’s also dead wrong. The repair estimate from ******* ****** is $300, and we will absolutely take this to small claims court if necessary.
      It’s also telling that this same employee suddenly became more polite when my husband showed up in person. If you're going to be a jerk over the phone, don’t try to play nice and fake later to save face, that’s cowardly.
      Tidal Wave of ******* isn’t just losing our business, they’re losing our entire extended family, many of whom are native to *******, *******. Word of mouth matters in a tight-knit community, and this company just showed us exactly who they are. We will be taking them to court if this isn't made right.

      I contacted Tidal Wave customer service by phone in October 2024 regarding the deal I purchased. It was a 50% off monthly special. I was concerned about how it would be cancelled after the 30 days. The rep informed me that it would automatically cancel. It did not. I have been charged full price ($42.77) every month since, and I am seeking a full refund.

      I recently discovered I have been charged $100 per month since then—charges I was completely unaware of. I was never informed about a membership, never signed any agreement authorizing recurring payments, and never received receipts or communication about these charges.

      When I visited the local office, they said I had signed up for a membership but could not show any documentation. I was also told conflicting information: the call center claimed I had two vehicles enrolled, but the office said only one was on file. No one has been able to explain the $100/month charges, and I was advised to contact corporate.

      I emailed the corporate office requesting an explanation and a refund for these unauthorized charges, but I have not received any response. I am now filing this complaint with the BBB seeking assistance in resolving this matter and obtaining a full refund for the charges made without my consent.

      I went through the car wash and my windshield cracked. It was very intense and the whole car was making beeping noise as I was going through it. When I spoke with the man in charge, he said "that happens sometimes because the cold air in the car hits the hot air from the outside. I filed a report and they said come back next day to speak to the manager. I went the next day and the manager said that happens sometimes and it is not their responsibility. The number on their website does not pick up. Ever. I have emailed numerous times and no one will reply to my complaint. I sent the bill for the windshield replacement and asking for them to pay deductible. I still have to pay $500 to recalibrate the windshield. I can't believe that for three weeks no one will contact me.

      I have patronized this business religiously. On the last couple of occasions parts from my vehicles have been removed. I just want to be reimbursed for the small amounts so I can replace them.

      On June 4, 2025 I came to carwash with a coupon for a free wash. Presented coupon to attendent. Attendent offered my the option of this single wash or the choice of one full month of unlimited washes for $10.55. I accepted the one month and paid. At no time did the attendent tell me I had agreed to sign up for the club plan entitling them to charge me $52.72 beginning July 4. I was charged this amount in July. I aledge a deceptive business practice: Bait & switch. I want BBB to post deceptive practice complaint. When I attempted to cancel this account on company web site, the site denied I had an account - even after multiple attempts on my part to provide all information requested.

      Tidal Wave Auto Spa Incident

      * May 17th -Damage was done to my vehicle and 2 customers behind me after I reported damage and told them to stop the car wash to prevent further damage to other customers vehicles, pictures were taken of ******, filed incident report
      * May 20th -Tidal Wave admitted fault due to a previous customer’s antenna wrapped around brush which was later found following incident
      * June 2nd -Turned in both estimates as requested by Tidal Wave’s manager, Kyle R********, he sent estimates of $15,358.88-$15,951.67 in damages for corporate to file claim with Travelers, their insurance company due to amount of claim
      * June 9th -Checked with Kyle, he emailed corporate -nothing
      * June 11th -Sent email to claims to check on claim- nothing
      * June 13 -Left message with corporate for Patrick- nothing
      * June 17 -Called corporate again, spoke to Tahja, she sent another detailed email to Patrick
