      Tidal Wave Auto Spa requires subscription customers to jump through unncessary hoops to cancel their automatic subscriptions and memberships. This process can cause customers to continue receiving recurring charges past their requested cut-off. In this case Tidal Wave refuses to acknowledge or offer any type of refund. This sitaution happened to me and while thankfully it was for only 1 month I am still beyond frustrated that they refuse to refund $49.97 for a month I did NOT use their service because I was trying to get out of even having the subscription. I'm fully aware they do not respond to any reveiws left about them or any complaints filed with the BBB, but I feel it is my duty to go on record like other customers who have been scammed and screwed by their deceptive business practices.

      I'm writing to share my recent experience at Tidalwave Auto Spa on ***** ***** in **********, **. During a car wash visit, my passenger side mirror was damaged and torn off during the wash cycle.

      Initially, the management seemed helpful - they acknowledged they had video footage of the incident and instructed us to obtain two repair quotes, stating they would handle the damage. We promptly provided both quotes to their claims department as requested.

      However, we were then informed rudely that they would not be covering the damages, despite their initial assurance and having video evidence of what occurred. This complete reversal in their position, combined with the unprofessional manner in which we were treated, has left us extremely disappointed.

      We expected better customer service and accountability from a business when their equipment causes damage to customers' vehicles. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this location based on our experience.

      So i have a membership with tidal wave car wash on rivers avenue, got to the car wash and they are telling me my membership was expired but they just took my money out for the membership on 8/15. I did not have my physical card but brought it up on on my bank app to show it was paid. The manager and one of his employees was very rude and told me I was not getting my car washed today. Called the corporate office and they said they did not have a record of me even paying but I have a withdrawal from my account says tidal wave. Please pay attention to your account. They even had it where they took the membership out twice in one month. I just thought you guys should know. They are scamming people. This came from my bank. This is not the first time they have been reported about these kinda accusations.

      I was told the trial was free and wouldn't be charged unless I completed my profile. I did not complete my profile. I went to the store in June and cancelled the subscription they started without my consent. They said it was cancelled. July and August have now drafted out my account.

      On May 14th 2025 I had my truck washed at Tidal Wave Auto Spa. Upon returning home my blind spot mirror had been broken off by the car wash. Therefore I was unhappy and never returned. Upon reviewing my checking account on Aug. 18th 2025 I discovered i was being charged Monthly for $34.97 for June,July and August of 2025. This amount was being removed from my debit card on the 14th of each month. I contacted them on Aug. 19th 2025 and asked they refund my money which was denied but they would close the account i never agreed to in the first place. The lady I spoke to continued to tell me that I had been sent a text message for the conditions of the agreement. I never supplied my phone number to these people to begin with nor will I ever use them again. She continued to tell me they could not refund my money they had taken from my checking account ILLEGALLY in my opinion. All I want is my money back they took from me for June, July and August. I have no intention of ever using their business again and would warn others of this scam.

      My husband is a club member and on 08.08.2025 while driving through the carwash we heard a noise towards prior to exiting. Upon leaving this day we did not stop and dry off the vehicle. The following day, 08.09.2925 my husband returned to the carwash (he is a frequent member) and after exiting the carwash did stop to dry off the vehicle. While drying off the vehicle he noticed a scratch on his driverside rear rim. He did not have time to wait and speak with the location as he needed to return home to our children. He returned on Mon (8.11) after work and spoke with the asst mgr who stated he would submit to corporate, only to be told 08.12 via text an apology stating because he left the issue wouldn't be resolved. He went up to to location after receiving this text, requesting the claim be reviewed. He was told by the asstmgr &mgr that while you can see the rim was not damaged prior to entering on Friday, their cameras don't capture rim/tires upon exit and can't assist. My husband then requested the claim to be forwarded to corporate, and we were basically told that it wouldn't be. After additional requests to send to corporate, the mgr instructed the asst manager to submit the claim to corporate but to state "that it's been closed". We have been customers for over 4 years and our household currently has 3 member subscriptions. We aren't attempting to get anything we aren't due here... The store confirmed via their camera there was no damage upon entering. I attempted to call the corporate office after today's conversation, however they are closed for the day I will attempt to reach corporate directly as well.

      I am filing this complaint regarding Tidal Wave Auto Spa concerning an unfair membership charge and poor customer service.

      I have been a loyal customer for nearly a year and have always paid my monthly membership fee on time. I emailed them on Wednesday 8/6 because my car had gotten scratched and I cannot use the wash until I can get the paint in and get it fixed. On 8/11, I called to cancel my membership because my car recently sustained a deep scratch down to bare metal. The body shop advised me not to wash my car until it is repaired, which will take some time as the paint color has to be ordered.

      I provided 4 days’ notice before my next billing date, believing this was reasonable since I had not used the service since that notice. However, the company still charged me for the full month. When I contacted corporate to request a refund, the representative not only refused but was dismissive and rude during our conversation. And stated their policy was 7 days. I was unaware of that but the main reason for cancelling was I can’t use the service.

      I had intended to restart my membership after my vehicle was repaired, but this experience has left me extremely dissatisfied. I am now requesting a full refund for the most recent charge of $49.97, as I gave notice before the billing date and did not use the service during the billed period.

      This situation reflects poor customer service and an unwillingness to work with loyal customers in good standing. I believe a fair resolution would be to refund the charged amount and address the behavior of the corporate representative I spoke with.

      I went to the Tidalwave carwash nearly a month ago and was told about a promotion they had and was told I could cancel at any time within the first 30 days. I canceled 6 days before the recharge day. However, I was not informed when signing up that if I didn't cancel SEVEN days in advance, I would be charged anyways. So I called the company to request a refund for the charges of $49.97 because I didn't have the money due to not being able to work, which was why I canceled to begin with. They refuse to refund and showed no remorse for the scam they are selling. It should be told during the promotional pitch that you MUST cancel 7 days before renewal. Not after the 7 days is up. There are several customers out there that are unaware of this rule and are being scammed thinking they still have a few days left to cancel or that they made it in time to cancel! I was thrown back seeing a $7 balance in my account this morning and seeing the charge from them after knowing I had canceled! It is companies like this that lead to people ended their lives from the overwhelming stress of financial! People cancel stuff for a reason. And the fact that they know i canceled before the 30 days and know that it was not told to me upon signing up and they still aren't willing to make it right is crazy! They have me in freaking tears over this! I needed that money for gas this week to get my 6 kids to school and get to my appointments! I'm so over this world and being scammed or treated badly in every situation!!

      My **-year-old husband went to the local tidal wave for the cheapest car wash and was set up for a monthly subscription which he did not understand, or he would not authorize. Eventually, he ended up with 3 subscriptions for 2 cars. While we let several months go without a dispute basically paying for service we did not use or want. I sent an email asking that the subscriptions be cancelled for both automobiles. On 07/21/25 we received an email response to confirmed cancelling RFID *****+******, RFID *****+****** and RFID *****+*****. However, now they have agreed to cancel all memberships but only refund $25.65. This is not acceptable. We attempted to resolve the issue with the company; however, they have denied our request. Therefore, we are requesting a full refund of all charges.

      My car was scratched by a mop bucket and mop that was not put away. I tried to alert the attendant. The scratches are down to the metal
