I recently discovered I have been charged $100 per month since then—charges I was completely unaware of. I was never informed about a membership, never signed any agreement authorizing recurring payments, and never received receipts or communication about these charges.
When I visited the local office, they said I had signed up for a membership but could not show any documentation. I was also told conflicting information: the call center claimed I had two vehicles enrolled, but the office said only one was on file. No one has been able to explain the $100/month charges, and I was advised to contact corporate.
I emailed the corporate office requesting an explanation and a refund for these unauthorized charges, but I have not received any response. I am now filing this complaint with the BBB seeking assistance in resolving this matter and obtaining a full refund for the charges made without my consent.Initial Complaint

I went through the car wash and my windshield cracked. It was very intense and the whole car was making beeping noise as I was going through it. When I spoke with the man in charge, he said "that happens sometimes because the cold air in the car hits the hot air from the outside. I filed a report and they said come back next day to speak to the manager. I went the next day and the manager said that happens sometimes and it is not their responsibility. The number on their website does not pick up. Ever. I have emailed numerous times and no one will reply to my complaint. I sent the bill for the windshield replacement and asking for them to pay deductible. I still have to pay $500 to recalibrate the windshield. I can't believe that for three weeks no one will contact me.Initial Complaint

I have patronized this business religiously. On the last couple of occasions parts from my vehicles have been removed. I just want to be reimbursed for the small amounts so I can replace them.Initial Complaint

On June 4, 2025 I came to carwash with a coupon for a free wash. Presented coupon to attendent. Attendent offered my the option of this single wash or the choice of one full month of unlimited washes for $10.55. I accepted the one month and paid. At no time did the attendent tell me I had agreed to sign up for the club plan entitling them to charge me $52.72 beginning July 4. I was charged this amount in July. I aledge a deceptive business practice: Bait & switch. I want BBB to post deceptive practice complaint. When I attempted to cancel this account on company web site, the site denied I had an account - even after multiple attempts on my part to provide all information requested.Initial Complaint

Tidal Wave Auto Spa Incident
* May 17th -Damage was done to my vehicle and 2 customers behind me after I reported damage and told them to stop the car wash to prevent further damage to other customers vehicles, pictures were taken of ******, filed incident report
* May 20th -Tidal Wave admitted fault due to a previous customer’s antenna wrapped around brush which was later found following incident
* June 2nd -Turned in both estimates as requested by Tidal Wave’s manager, Kyle R********, he sent estimates of $15,358.88-$15,951.67 in damages for corporate to file claim with Travelers, their insurance company due to amount of claim
* June 9th -Checked with Kyle, he emailed corporate -nothing
* June 11th -Sent email to claims to check on claim- nothing
* June 13 -Left message with corporate for Patrick- nothing

June 3rd and June 10th 2025.
I came up to the car wash. And I was explained that the package was $17. I bought the packone month later. I get a feet of 2995 and then I get in another fee for 1350 for an upgrade which I never requested. I never requested to pay 2995. And I never asked for upgrade on this car wash. I was explaining the car wash for $17 a month. And that is what I expected. I meano one explained. I need additional payment at another time ago and may have taken my money out and will not replace it.

I went for a car wash. Special was $12 unlimited for 30 days. Receipt says it’s a monthly subscription. I did not approve or was told about it. I was scammed. I have tried calling to cancel, they say office is closed on a Monday afternoon. Sent emails, I have to wait 7-10 days to get it canceled.

*** ****. Went to wash. Card reader and gate was giving manager problems. My bumper gently touched the gate. I had already stopped and was in reverse rolling back to wait for attendant. Manager started screaming at me the Stop was enough but he ran over and proceeded to continue to scream at me. About the 25th scream at me the gate opened. I got out to see if I had done any damage even though I was well aware there wasn’t a single issue. He started running towards me screaming. Followed me all the way to my truck screaming. I have 3 businesses in town and passed out hundreds of coupons for Tidal Wave. It’s a great car wash but this manager has anger management issues. I have tried continuously to cancel my membership online with continuous alert of their site being down. Then they didn’t recognize my membership number. Asking that I go back to Tidal Wave in person to cancel. I’m literally afraid for my life. I have now heard other stories similar to mine. Feels a lot like a scam. They are rude to unlimited members so they refuse to come back. Then make it impossible to cancel online with the App. Great car wash but but the service and this particular manager for sure must go. I’m sure he is not the franchise owner. No owner would ever want this. He is a class A jerk and a real liability. Now I have to go back in person and confront him again. I sure don’t need to be harassed getting my vehicle washed. I have already gotten my witnesses and I hope the owners view this event on cameras and terminate him immediately.Initial Complaint

On May 25, 2025, I purchased the most premium package at the Tidal Wave car wash. After my vehicle went through the wash, I noticed visible scratches on my car that were not present beforehand.
I immediately brought this to the attention of the staff and requested to view security footage to confirm the scratches were not pre-existing. The on-site manager reviewed the footage and admitted that the scratches were not visible prior to the wash. As a result, they completed and filed an incident report acknowledging the damage.
However, on May 28, 2025, I was contacted by the store manager, who told me that the business would not be taking responsibility for the damage, despite the earlier admission from their staff.
This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I am seeking accountability and fair resolution. At minimum, I expect compensation for the damage caused or a repair reimbursement.

I have attempted to cancel my auto wash plan for 2 weeks. The on-line portal does not accept my information and the ********, GA location was unable to cancel the plan and told me to call the corporate office. I have called them 5 times, at different times of the day and only get the automated music - no life person.
