Came after me for $1,700 of debt that I never owed in the first place. They refused to contact me or regard my dispute letter and it has impacted my credit greatly.

************* Buys your debt, does a big hit on your credit rating and then holds you financially hostage, to remove it - thats where and how they make their money. The first thing they ask, when you call is ..."are you calling to get our **** removed?" Debt info is not what they primarily deal with, making money to remove their **** is the bread and butter of this business. They tried to sell me into paying one dollar to access a software, that would help me. I refused and asked for my balance owed. That too would cost me one dollar to find out. Hung up and started to alert everyone to this scam.Xfinity sold my $214.00 debt to Sequium, which brought my credit rating down 71 points. Went from an above 600 credit score to 540 now. No hope to find housing now, apply for credit or loans.Sequium and Xfinity have destroyed my credit rating, all over $214.00.

This company has been harassing me over an ex-husbands claim over 7 years ago. It has been closed by the bankruptcy court as his responsibility not mine. I have told this group over 10 times, provided them with proof this is not my issue & they are going to be sued if they don't stop calling.

I sent payment on behalf of my Step-Sister to Sequium. They later sent a letter reporting the debt had been returned to the originator. Enclosed I received someone else's check for thier respective payment. When I attempted to notify them of the potential risk and breach of personal data, they held to a position of not sharing detail with any 3rd party. They responded directing me to return the check and could not tell me where my personal data had been sent. I wrote to the individual whose check I received to let them know and that their check had been destroyed. I submitted a claim thru the ***** Sequium provided the same rhetoric, not sharing with 3rd party. It appears Sequium has no policy or process to manage or identify when they have breached individuals personal data by sending details to other 3rd parties. Sequium has not indicated any acceptance for this issue.

They purchase debts; however, according to Federal Regulations if a cellphone company hasnt collected within their own capacity in 2 years theyre supposed to close the case and cannot collect. These people contacted me 3 years after cellphone company wouldnt settle our dispute fairly. They accepted one payment from me and then disappeared from my life when I filed a dispute with credit score company.

Not sure who this company is, or why I am getting an email correspondence about some debt I supposedly owe. Called the number in the email that I was sent and not only was I advised that they knew nothing about why I was calling, but also had the nerve to try to confirm me by giving out someone else's personal information. First that's a huge violation of the other person, whose information was used to try to confirm who I was, and secondly how crazy can they be to even do this. I fear that their methods of verification contributes to identity theft. After advising that I was not the person whom they mentioned, the customer service representative, or whatever they call themselves was rude and hung up. Called back to try to speak with a Manger to discuss this interaction and was advised by the next person I talked to just leave a number & name and someone would call me back. I advised I could wait for a manager due to my previous interaction being so disastrous. Was on hold for 3 minutes, when the same person I spoke to previously got on the phone proclaiming to be a manager. I advised them that they just spoke to me and hung up on me, so i needed a manager. Was hung up on again. Not sure if their calls are even recorded. Not sure what this company has going on, but sending out random correspondence for issues that don't pertain to the individual involved, and then utilizing other people's information to try and validate the random individual involved, makes me wonder how this company if its truly litigimate in nature, even exists. I hope they see this and know that I am also exploring other legal avenues against them for the multitude of violations they committed in a span of roughly 23 minutes.

I am aghast at what this legit company is trying to do. I have never had the account they claim to be charging me for, and the address which they have on file isnt even able to accept mail, considering it burned down almost a year ago. There are too many evolving scams for me to comfortably research this much further, and I wont be linking to anything at their direction. Nice try!
